Mar 4 (Tues):

ENNA SOLLUVEN EN ULLAM THANGALEH.......ITHU ORU KANNA KANUM NERAM...................... 😲 😡

Continued from yesterday................Ram walks out in tears. Tadaaaaah.............Rekha wakes up from day dreaming and thinking about what would happenif her father comes to know about Ram's leelai. She decides to take care of matters herself. Rekha arrives and goes to her room and thinks hards (5 mins pass). Ram comes home from work and Rekha asks him where he has been. Ram keeps quiet and she asks if he went to see for himself if she was there with Niwas and what they were doing. Ram denies at first but Rekha tells about the office boy he hired. Rekha is pissed off and tells Ram how dare he suspect her of cheating on him. She tells him that she may be educated and come from a rich family but that doesn't mean she was brought p without integrity. She tells him that when it comes to moral she and Kasthuri are no different. And Ram is no saint himself because he is the one who is devious and immoral and excellent at betraying trust. She tells him that she is a very straight forward person and if she wants to cheat of him she would not be afraid to tell him so ahead and tells him to stop his CID work.

Baby Santosh sleeping on the bed. Rekha is getting ready in the dressing room. Ram comes and sits on the bed and tries to touch the baby but Rekha tells him not to touch her baby because her baby would grow up like him. Ram tries to tell her that he is not suspicious of her but Niwas. Rekha tells him that she would not trust him ever after what he did. Ram tells her that Santosh is his baby, but Rekha tells him how can be be sure since he suspect her integrity. Ram gets mad and shouts at her and Rekha shouts back. Both Annamalai and Radha come up and ask what is wrong. Rekha changes the subject saying that they were talking about her birthday the next day. Radha tells her that even she and her father had forgotten her birthday but mapillai had not and wants her to listen to him and celebrate as he wishes. Radha then tells them to decide how they want to celebrate and goes out with her husband. Ram apologizes for forgetting her birthday and tell her to forget everything and they will start new and put his hand on her shoulder but Rekha tells him to take his hand off because she doesn't want anything to do with him and leaves.

Downstairs, Annamalai and Radha discussing Rekha's birthday. Niwas comes there and asks whose birthday they are discussing and is told about Rekha's birthday. Niwas tells then that he will buy Rekha a very nice birthday git and surprise her and goes off. Both Annamalai and Radha laugh at Niwas' behavior.

Rekha all dressed up comes down and is blessed and wishd by her parents. Ram comes down and Radha asks if Rekha asked Ram's blessing. Ram immedately tells his MIL that Rekha asked her blessing first before coming down and Radha is very happy to hear it. Ram then give her a present and when Rekha hesitates, Radha prompts her to accept. Rekha accepts and Ram smirks thinking that he purposely gave his gift in front of her parents so that she cannot refuse it. Niwas comes there with a gift and gives to Rekha and asks her to open it. Rekha opens to see a necklace and says it is very beautiful. Radha asks Niwas why he bought such an expensive gift and he tells her that it is nothing compared to their friendship. Niwas then tells Ram to put it on for Rekha but she tells Niwas that Ram doesn't know this kind of work. Rekha calls Shenbagam and gives her the gift and tells her to take it upstairs. Niwas tells them that he had arranged for a party at a 5-star hotel that evening and for everyone to go. Radha tells him that Ram had already arrange for a party and they should go with him. Rekha tells her mother that every year they celebrate together as family and this is the first time Niwas is with them and they should go and celebrate with Niwas. Annamalai agrees and everyone leaves the room leaving a fuming Ram.

Ram sitting in the room reading a book. Rekha gets ready and wears the necklace that Niwas gave her and leaves. Ram stops her and asks her why she is not wearing the watch he gave her. Rekha tells him she would feel filty if she wore the watch and that is why she just left it. Ram shouts at her but Rekha just leaves. Rekha goes down and sees Niwas and tells him she is ready to go to the office. Niwas is vry happy that she is wearing the necklace and says that it looks prettier that it did at the store when he bought it. Both leave for the office laughing, watched by the jealous Ram. March 6 (Thurs):

DREAMLAND OVER...................MEGALA THANAM'S SUPER DUPER MIL RETURNS AS EVIL AS EVER!

Masil goes out to pay the hospital bills and returns to the lady and the girl and tell them everything is settled and they can leave. The lady tells Masil to drop them off at their house in his car. Masil tells her he did not come in his car but by Auto. The lady insists that Masil drops them off by the same auto. A nurse takes them out and Masil quickly tells the ladies to enter the auto and he too gets in. Kasthuri arrives in time and see this but is unable to stop the auto. She then goes in and calls the nurse who helped them and ask about Masil and his relationship with the ladies but the nurse says she doesn't know. Kasthuri then persuades the nurse to give her the address. Kasthuri gives some money to the nurse and leaves.

Here comes MEGALA.....................

As usual Megala at the table with murungai keerai (looks like she just can't get any other vegetable! 😆!). Siva comes to her and tells her he is leaving for work. Megala tells him that she wants to build a second floor with two rooms. She cites that when Sumathi gets married, they need room to house her and her husband when they come to visit. Siva asks what is the hurry, let Sumathi get married first then they can think about it. Megala insists that they do it now and Siva tells his mother that he does not have the money. Megala tells him since Thanam's sister is now doing very well in business (she says tv business!)and makes a lot of money, he can asks her for help. Thanam is also listening to this. Siva tells his mother that it is not respectable to asks money from Kasthuri. Megala tells him it is ok because when he got married, they Thanam's family did not give any dowry and now is the time to collect. She also insults Thanam's father. Thanam comes forward and tells her MIL not to insult her father, but Megala continues saying that eventhough Thanam is pregnant, he has not come to see her. Thanam tells Megala that she told her father not to visit her because no one respects him. (I am confused - Roja please help me here. If I am not mistaken, it only takes about 40 weeks for a full term pregnancy. But in this serial, Thanam seems to be carrying for more than 1 year. Ithu eppadi ma. 😕 ) Megala continues with her unreasonable talk, but Siva shuts her up saying that she is lucky to have a DIL who keeps quiet otherwise she will bein trouble. Finally Thanam tells her MIL that she is not afraid and will not be afraid of her MIL and both husband and wife leave for work. Megala is irritated that she had no one to fight with.

A courier comes to Siva's house and Megala answers the door. The courier asks for Suresh and she tells him there is no one by that name there. The courier turns to leave but Suresh stops him and tells him the letter is for him. Suresh is told that Megala had said that there is no one by that name there. Suresh asks the man if he has seen the movie 'Gajni' and that Megala is the direct opposite of the short term memory character in the movie, meaning Megala will only answer any question after 15 minutes of asking. The man looks at her and leaves after Suresh takes delivery of the letter. Suresh opens the letter and is very happy and tells Megala that he has received an interview letter from a reputable company. He is sure he will get the job. Megala tells him that this is what he has been telling everytime he gets a letter but has yet to land a job. Suresh then takes the letter of Sumathi (a new girl plays this character). Sumathi tells him that she will be happy when he gets the job (i did not get the full conversation here - sorry!).

Jothi is serving tiffin to Kasthuri. Masil comes and sits at the table and teases Jothi about the idli that he has been eating for 30 years. Jothi tells him that she just made the idli today. Bharath too comes down and everyone sits together to eat. Kasthuri signals to Bharath to say something. Masil sees Bharath hesistating to ask something and prompts him. Bharath then asks who the two ladies that he saw at the hospital with Masil the day before. Bharath tells Masil he say them when he went to see the doctor. Masil's face change and says that he did not go out and then says he went to buy vegetables. Jothi tells him that she went to buy vegetables but Masil had gone out on his own. Masil then pretends to have forgotten where he went and washes his hand and leaves the table saying he does not like the tiffin. Everyone is confused at his action. Kasthuri thinks to her self that Masil is not a man who would do something that is wrong.

Annamalai in his offfice and looking/reading though a magazine. He turns page by page and there is a page that has Kasthuri's picture and and article about her. He is almost at the page with Kasthuri's picture. THODARUM.

Mar 10 (Mon):

Megala goes to Suresh's room and searches for the interview letter/card. Suresh turns in his sleep but does not wake up and Megala goes on searching and finds the envelope and takes it away to er room and puts it in her night stand and goes back to bed thinking she can now sleep peacefully. Next morning, Megala is praying and Suresh all dressed up goes to her and asks for blessing as he is going for an important interview. He asks her to bless him so that he gets the job. Megala tells him her blessing is not enough because one has to have brains to get the job, but Suresh tells her she is the most senior in the house. Megala blesses him saying he should get the job and settle down in his hometown. Suresh tells her that he is not going back to his village but will stay here. Thanam and Siva come there and asks if he is ready to go and Suresh tells them he is ready but needs to to get his interview card and goes in. Suresh is unable to find his letter and is upset and comes running out and asks his sister if she saw the letter. Thanam scolds him saying how he can be so careless. Suresh asks Megala if she has seen the letter but Megala starts telling that the only letter she knows is the one her hsuband wrote to her when he was alive. Siva tells his mother to stop her story. Thanam tells her husband to stop arguing and tells Suresh go ahead and tell them he had misplaced the letter. Just then Sumathi comes out with the letter and gives it to Suresh. She tells them that she found it in his pant pockets and that the maid had found it when she put his clothes for washing. Suresh thanks her and goes for the interview. Both Siva and Thanam too thankher and leave for work. Megala asks Sumathi how she got the letter and she tells her mother that she saw Megala eavesdropping on them when they were talking about the letter, so she took it and hid it in her closet. Megala is sure that her daughter is in love with Suresh and thinks of ways to separate them.

Masil and gang are int he living room talking. Masil is very happy that their company is very successful in the business and Annamalai and Ram are losing. He laughs saying that for all the sin that Ram and his in-laws has done to him, they will suffer more and they will come to the streets soon. He tells a very upset Jothi that he will be more happy when that happens. Seeing Jothi upset, Kasthuri tells her FIL not to be vengeful because they are only competing in business and not in personal life. Masil contradicts her saying that only he knows how he felt when his son betrayed him and that Ram has to pay for that. He tells her that they are now at war - Tharma Yudham and only Masil should win. Jothi listens to all this and has tears in her eyes. Jayaram and Hema enter and Kasthuri thanks him for bringing Hema. She tells them that she has made an appointment with an eye specialist that day. Jayaram and Hema are surprised to hear this. Masil tells Jeyaram that Kasthuri is always wanting to help other without being asked. Jayaram and Hema refuse to go see the doctor saying that they have already gone to see many doctors and are not sure that Hema would be cured. Hema also tells them that they have seen many doctors and refuse to see any other doctor. Jayaram tells them if it is fated that Hema should be blind, then so be it. They will only see a doctor if Bharath changes his mind. Being cornered, Bharath finally agrees to get married and everyone is very happy. Masil tells Kasthuri to take Hema to the doctor because Bharath has agreed but Hema tells them that she will only think about seeing a doctor when all arrangements for Bharath's wedding is made and they leave. Masil tells Kashturi that he is very happy.

Radha sitting on her bed and looking at some photos. Annamalai comes in and she asks him why he is late. Annamalai tells her that he has too much work at the office and when Rekha was there, she would do most of the work but Ram is useless and with him there they are only facing loss int hebusiness. Radha tells him not to blame Ram because only Niwas is to blame for this. She tells Annamalai that Ram doesn't like Niwas staying with them or Rekha being close with him. Annamalai wants to know what Radha suggest he does and she tells him that they should get Niwas married. Annamalai tells her Niwas does not want ot get married. Rekha shows him a photograph and says that the girl is her friend's daughter. Annamalai tells her that Niwas should agree and they are not his parents to force or tell him anything. He tells Radha that he has made a decision concerning Rekha and Ram - that is to send them to live on their own. Radha is shocked to hear this. THODARUM.

Mar 12 (Wed):

Bharath finally finishes his letter, folds and puts in his shirt pocket. Kasthuri calls for him (actually knocks the door before entering!). Bharath opens the door and she asks him if he is ready to leave for the office. Bharath asks her if they can stop at temple on the way. Kasthuri is surprised and happy at the same time. She asks if since when he has the habit of going to the emple and Bharath replies saying that when one has no wishes, they would not think about temple and God but when there is a wish, one would go to the temple to ask that the wish is granted and fulfilled. Kasthuri asks him what his wish is and he tells her that they will talk at the temple. They take leave from Jothi and Masil and walk out. Jayaram and Hema walk in and Kasthuri invites them inside. Bharath says they will be late but Kasthuri tells him that it is their office and no harm in being ten minutes late. Jayaram seconds. They go in and talk to Masil. Jayaram gives a girl's photograph and says that he had chosen the girl for Bharath and since everyone like her and if Bharath okays it, he will propose to the family. Bharath gets angry and tells them that it is not a joke and says that he is not getting married and for them to leave him alone. Jayaram says fine and Hema can be blind all her life. Jayaram and Hema go back leaving the photo with Masil and apologize to Kasthuri.


Rekha reading newspaper on the living. Shenbagam is serving coffee. Niwas comes in running and continues running of the spot(presumably back from jogging). He asks if Ram where Ram is and jokes saying that Ram will not wake up so early and he is the king of sleeping in. Annamalai and Radha comes to the living and wants to talk to Rekha and Ram and asks Shenbagam to call Ram. Rekha asks what about but Annamalai wants to wait for Ram. Ram comes and Niwas wishes him 'Good Morning' but Ram ignores him. Annamalai then tells Rekha nd Ram that their house is Besan Nagar is vacant and for them to move in there. Niwas asks why ask Rekha to move out and that it would be difficult for them to discuss their business matters but Annamalai tells his that they can discuss at the office. Ram is irritated to hear Niwas and glares at him. Rekha is shocked and ask what brings this decision. She then says it is not feasible because they have moved out twice before and had to return. She says that even living under the same roof with them, she is having problems with Ram and if they move out it would be worse. She refuses to move out and walks away. Radha tells Ram not to listen to Rekha and to get ready to move out. Ram gets up and leaves without a word. Niwas asks Annamalai why ask Rekha to move out and she is the only child. He says that living together as a joint family is happier that living separately. Radha tells him not to interfere in their family matters as he is only a guest. Niwas apologizes and leaves.

Hema and Jayaram wait for Bharath as he had told them to meet him at his house. Hema wonders what Bharath has to say other then chew them out for meddling in his life. She sees Bharath coming and tells Jayaram. Bharath sits down and Jayaram tells him that Hema is hoping for good news from him. Bharath apologizes for his rudeness the day before. He tells them after Kaveri's death, he had not thought about marriage. But now he has changed his mind and tells him the person responsible is Kasthuri. Jayaram is very happy to hear this. He wants to talk to Kasthuri about it but Bharath tells him not to be hasty because Kasthuri still has feeling for her ex-husband, Ram. Jayaram says that cannot be because of Ram's betrayal. Bharath tells Jayaram that Kasthuri still respects and might want to get back with Ram and that they have to be careful in this matter. Bharat tells Jayaram that Kasthuri has been very caring when he was in the hospital but he is not sure if that can be construed as love. Bharath says he is hesitant about telling Kasthuri of his feelings and wil wait for the right moment to tell her and for Jayaram and Hema not to tell her anything yet and leaves. Jayaram and Hema are very happy to hear this and Hema feels that their wedding will be soon. THODARUM.

Mar 13 (Thurs):

Ram in his room fuming because Rekha is in Niwas' room discussing building plans. Ram goes to Niwas' room and peeps them talking then walks back. He thinks that Rekha is now so smitten with Niwas that she doesn't even realize the time and is so happy with him. Shenbagam comes to him and tells him she is leaving. Ram who is irritated, tells her to go. Shenbagam just continues to irritate Ram by telling him that both Annamalai and wife had gone out and will be back late and she wants to tell Rekhama that she is leaving, but Rekhama is laughing and talking with Niwas in his room. (Amma ithu romba theva, ippo. Pour more oil in the fire Shenbagam! Nalla erriattum!😆) Ram tells her to just go and she leave. He talks to himself that it is insulting to hear even the maid to talk about Rekha's behavior. He says: I can't stand it, can't stand it anymore (Just sit down you idiot!) and slaps himself (Rojama, you are needed here - Ram needs your palaaarr on his face! Please help all of us. Nanga elorum kathirukom, Ram kathirukaru, Masil and gang kathirukkanga, vaa maa Rojaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!) . Because he is so suspicious and jealous, he goes back and peeps again but this time, Rekha sees him. Ram sees Rekha looking at him and he quickly runs back to his room and gets a book and sits down (finally) pretending to read a book. Rekha comes in and tells him off. She can't believe that Ram would steep so low as to peep at what she is doing. She asks him if he is not ashamed of himself. Ram tells her that he is not suspecting her of any impropriety but he does not trust Niwas. He says they can be childhood friends but they are no longer children. She warns Ram to stop or she would have reconsider about their live together. She says she is unabl to tolerate anymore of Ram's behavior and if he continues, they might have to cease living together. Ram asks if she if threatening hin but Rekha tells him that it is not a threat but a reminder about what is to come tomorrow. She walks out saying she is going to Niwas' room to continue with their discussion and would be back once they are finish. Ram is furious but unable to do anything.

Bharath in his room looking at some files. An employee comes in with a file and asks him to sign. She then asks permission to speak freely. When given the go ahead, she tells Bharath she has an elder sister for whom they are looking for a groom and asks if he would agree to come meet her. Bharath gets angry and asks if she is mad to be asking him that question. He tells her that he is married and he wife had gone to heaven after lliving with him for a short period of time. He tells her he has no intention of getting married again and aks if Ganesh told her to talk to him. He tells the employee to go and do her work. The girl leaves and passes Kasthuri who is entering Bharath's room. Kasthuri is surprised to hear Bharath shouting at the employee. KAsthuri enters Bharath's room and asks what is wrong, Bharath tells her and Kasthuri says it is not wrong and for him not to be angry. She then asks Bharath what he wanted to talk about at the temple. Bharath remembers his letter that he left in his shirt pocket the day before and gets really tensed. He is afraid that Jothi might find the letter and that would create problems. He tells Kasthuri that he has something important to do and will be back in an hour and they can talk then. He hurries off much to Kasthuri's surprise. Kasthuri wonders what is worng with him as he is normally very stable and organized but today very tensed.

Masil at home and jothi comes down with some clothes for washing. She asks if they can get a maid for hte house and Masil says they can ask and agency who can help them. Jothi has Bharath's shirt with and and looks inside the pocket and find the letter and gives to Masil and ask him what it is about. Masil looks at it and says he will take care of it and for Jothi to do whatever she needs to do. After Jothi leaves, Masil reads the letter where Bharath tells about his feeling for Kasthuri and asks her to let him know if she reciprocates and if not, she can tear and throw away the letter. He would then forget about the whole thing and will be her teacher and a good friend. Masil finishes reading and Jothi coms again and asks what it is about and he tells her it is a letter that Bharath had written to Jayaram asking him to look for a girl. Jothi asks for the letter so that she can pass to Bharath but Masil tells her not to talk about the letter to Bharath. She is confused and asks why. Masil tells her Bharath had written to his friend and he may feel embarrased and may suspect they had read his letter. Although Jothi is not convinced, she agrees.

Jothi is sitting on the swing upstairs, when Bharath hurries inside to his room passing Jothi. He looks around for the letter, then goes to Jothi and asks her if she has seen a letter. Jothi tells him no and Masil arrives and Bharath asks him too. Masil too says he has not seen it and tells Bharath to go back to the office and see if he had left it there. Bharath leaves. Masil then tells Jothi that she acts very well and can even lie perfectly. Jothi tells him that for his sake she can do that eventhough she is not agreeable. Masil then tells her not to speak as though she neveer lies because when it comes to her son, she is willing to put up an act and lie through her teeth! Jothi just gives him a glare and walks away.
