Radha goes to see Jothi. Jothi is surprised to see her and asks why she is there. Radha asks why Jothi left without telling anyone. Jothi asks why Radha never helped Ram when he was in trouble. Radha says everything had gone beyond help. Jothi says Kasthuri is an outsider but they are all relatives. She says that is why Rekha did not send Ram to jail but Rekha because they are relatives. Radha explains that they did not know that Kasthuri was Simi and only found out after that. Radha explains that Kasthuri is the only one who helped them. Jothi laughs and says that Kasthuri employed Rekha because Kasthuri had been employed by Rekha and Kasthuri want to take revengeon them. Radha says that Jothi is just finding faults on everything. Jothi says she is nowseparated from her husband because of Kasthuri. Radha tells Jothi to go with her to see Masil. Radha says she will talk to Masil but Jothi refuses saying she will only leave town if Ram goes with her and that too with Rekha.

Radha asks what Jothi is talking about. Jothi says if Radha wants, Rekha and Ram can unite and live happily and why should they suffer because of Kasthuri. Radha says Ram and Rekha have separated ad it is up to Rekha and not in her hands. Jothi says Radha can unite her son and Rekha at least for the sake of their son. Radha tells Jothi not to cry and says she will try to talk to Rekha and leaves. Jothi back to crying and thinking.

Rekha goes to see Bharath and he is surprised to see her. Rekha asks why he is so stubborn and wants to leave as Kasthuri is now having too many problems. Bharath says Kasthuri is capable to face her problems herself. Rekha says that there must be another reason for his decision and wants to know what it is. Bharath tells Rekha that Jothi does not like him there. Rekha asks if that is the only reason. He tells Rekha that Jothi thinks that because of him Kasthuri does not want Ram. Rekha says that because Kasthuri is now wealthy she wants Ram and Kasthuri to unite and says Kasthuri will never agree to this. Bharath says if he does not leave, Jothi and Ram want to fight for Kasthuri's wealth because Masil had sold his properties to help Kasthuri build her business in the begining. Rekha want to inform Masil about this but Bharath stops her saying it will only aggravate matters. Bharath tells Rekha he is leaving and she is unable to stop him. She tells Bharath that she has not right to stop him but wants him to come when Kasthuri needs him and Bharath promises to do so.

Bharath is at a bus station and gets on a bus. Some people are dancing to Nakkumukka song. Bharath gets a seat and the conductor asks him where he is going.Bharath says he is going to porapur (I think). Conductor says that is his place too. Bharath asks who are the people dancing and is told they a group going for a wedding and says that Bharath would not be able to sleep on this journey. THODARUM

Bharath travelling in a bus full of some wedding group. The conductor is annoyed with the dance and music but cannot do anything. Bharath just smiles. Everyone seems very happy and conductor tells them to stop. One of the ladies ask a girl to give sweets to everyone. The bride is served with sweets and she take a piece. The others tease the bride and groom about the wedding night. One of the paati talk about her wedding night and everyone laughs. The bride gors to her uncle and wakes him up and tells him to join in their fun but uncle says he is tired and wants to rest (he is actually drunk). Bride leave her uncle alone and takes the sweets from her sister and offers to everyone, even Bharath. Bharath refuses at first but takes it after she persists. The bride asks Bharath why he is sad. She gives him a wedding invitation and asks him to come to her wedding. Bharath accepts the invitation.

The bus moves along. Bharath is asleep. The conductor wakes Bharath when the bus stops at the stop he needs to get down. Bharath takes his bag from the floor and gets the wrong suitcase from the compartment above and gets down. The bus leaves and Bharath walks to his friend's house. His friend is shaving when Bharath arrives and Jeevan (friend) apologizes for being late and could't meet Bharath at the station. Bharat says it is ok and goes to freshen up. Jeevan gives the house key to Bharath and tells him to use anything he wants. Bharath tells him he has brought everything he needs. After Jeevan leaves, Bharath tries to open his suitcase but is unable to as the keys do not fit. Bharath thinks it is the cheap make of the bag and takes a screwdriver and pries open the suitcase.

When the bag is opened, he is shocked to see jewelery and money in the bag. He gets really worried and tries to call his friend but is not able to reach him. Bharath then remembers the wedding invitation and takes it out and looks at it, He then takes the suitcase and goes to the bus stop in a hurry. He asks the people at the stop if the bus to Sambalpatti. The people there tell him that no bus will come as someone had been murdered and all buses has been stopped. One of the man asks Bharath to get a lift. A man comes there on a bike and Bharath asks him for a ride. The man asks who Bharath is and he tells that he is there to see Jeevan and now he has to go to sambalpaati as he had taken a suitcase by mistake and ha to go to the wedding before it is too late. The man says Jevan is is friend and offers to take Bharath to the wedding.

At the wedding the groom's father is shouting at the bride's people for not giving him the dowry and wants to stop the wedding. The bride's parents and relatives beg the man to let the wedding go on but the man stops the musicians. Bride and sister come out of their room to see what is happening. THODARUM.
