They had seen and suffered so much that at the end of their journey beginning with the civil war all throughout the two world wars in the social front and from naive love struck human boys to mindless monstrous vampires they finally had reached home the place they could breathe a sigh of relief when the woman child of theirs showered a perfect smile with a twinkle in those doe eyes which held the power to skip a heartbeat from their non beating hearts..yes no matter what they had started coming home one brother by the front door and the other through the window..😛.one with sweet comfort gesturing shelter and the other with fiery passion hinting protection...one smelling like chocolate and candles the other booze and blood...one brooding at times the other dead drunk almost all the times😆...but no matter what they had started to come home to this one woman and the moment she burnt down her house these boys lost their refuge.😲 Both Damon and Stefan sank in the ocean of tears flooded by elena...and her switching off her humanity suddenly threw them back to 1864 in their transitional state...they had lost their lady love then and now...😭😭😭
