Ian has just nailed his role. He is great as Damon.😃

And yeah, they really did change quite a lot! But I guess that's expected with any book-to-screen adaptations, so there's nothing much to do except grin and bear it or turn it off. 😆 Except that Ian is...beyond awesome...as Damon...☺️

BTW Major Bamon in 9!

& the KDS triangle will be more understandable on 1x20 or around there.

& ITA on this part: "there's nothing much to do except grin and bear it or turn it off" which is why I embrace the show and grin, for Damon/Ian of course.

I guess the rason why they don't follow the books is because as it's a TV show they need to make it last/draw it out and make it more interesting...

Ok... Just seen the epi (repeat, few hrs ago) where Alaric confronts Damon about Isobel...

OMG... Ian looked totally drool-worthy when he was shirtless 😍... Still recovering from that 😆...

Jaan; Awww he was looking at her nicely. He truly does care; but I wouldn't say loves her. To me it shocked me when Isobel told Elena that. It would have been more fitting for her to say he cares about you a lot Elena, but love, I don't think so yet.

Twinie; yes you liking Skate made me night, is that wrong? I was happy another person jumped on Skate, which is awesome because they are EPIC. & OMG, you'll have to see it soon!

Nay; If you thought Ian was droolworthy there wait till you get to 1x20 when they show you how the brothers become vamps. No lie, like 5 minutes of Damon/Stefan shirtless.

Bhav; OMG yay! When he trailed his hand across her cheek, I died. & Jer? That's cool, if I had to pick any other guy it would be Ty. Geeeez that boy. Or Paul, because he has that same adorable factor in him. & OMG, I haven't missed any epi LIVE so I don't know what I'd do. Aweeee, will it soon though?

Dhruvi, I have no idea if they're gonna air it here or not. I think they may be airing it on one of those pay-per-view thingies, but we don't have that at home (there are two cable operator thingies here, it's confusing!), but hopefully they'll air it on like Star World soon! :D

And and and! EEKS! I am so tempted to just skip ahead to epi 20 just to see them shirtless. Oh good god.

Can I just say that I positively LOVE the way Ian plays Damon? I mean, he has all these nuances in the way he plays him, and his skin looks so...stretchy...(*hides*)...and it just makes Damon a helluva lot more...psychopath...y...😳
