PART 2:

I'm so sorry to have you guys waiting..I was stuck at my shoot..I hope jyada intezar nahi karna pada ab sab ko..

He tried to grasp an image of her appearance but couldn't do so under the darkness of the area..

Raj: Thank god aap pahaunch gayi..aaiye main aapko sabse introduce karwata hoon..

She slowly walked into the bright atmosphere to be surrounded by the comedians..while Kapil stayed in the distance trying to catch a glimpse of the stranger who was to be his partner for the next few weeks...

Raj: Listen guys..this is Sumona Chakravarti and Sumona these are your team competitors

Sumona: Hi everyone. Nice to meet you all...Acha competitors se toh mulaqat ho gayi but where's my partner in crime? She said with a smirk and an added wink..

Her eyes kept wandering..seeking for the one who suddenly went missing. Guys main abhi aati hu she said as she walked away...

She reaches the green room where she spots someone whose back faced her...

"Excuse me??"

Kapil turned around to find a woman smiling back at him..

S: Hi you must be Kapil...I'm your new partner

There she stood in a casual attire..jeans and a simple t shirt...with no makeup..she was the perfect example of natural beauty..

Kapil was left stumped. Although he found her to be very attractive, he was annoyed by the fact that she was yet another daily soap actress. He had lost all expectations from daily soap actresses from seeing his past partners. He could not bear yet another partner replacement...All of this was running in his head which made his reply be in irritation

K: Yeah.. Hi. Ab script padhe ya aapko koi aur bhi kaam hai?..

S: *thinking* Kis khadoos se pala pada hai mera???. Bhagwan please mujhe isko jhelne ki shakti dena. With a nod Yes let's start she said giving a smile.

Since it was Sumona's first attempt at comedy..the script rehearsal was more a fumble session than a rehearsal...she could not stop fumbling ...

After the 3rd time..Kapil gave up..he did not have the patience that allowed him to keep helping her..

This attitude of Kapil's was enough to ruin Sumona's mood..

S: *thinking* Iski problem kya hai? Jab se aayi hu yeh aisa kar raha hai..theek se baat bhi nahi kar raha..lagta hai 5 seasons jeetne ke baad ghamand agaya hai isme..thoda madat hi kar deta..najane iske old partners ne isko kaise jhela hoga...

"I'm sorry Mr.Sharma aap honge Comedy Circus ke winner par main nayi hoon aur aap chahe ya na chahe par main aapki partner hu...agar humhe succeed karna hai toh you're gonna have to throw away that attitude of yours."

K: *thinking* Iss baar haar pakki hai beta...yeh kisko teri partner bana di inhone...ek toh lines theek se deliver nahi kar rahi upar se mujhe hi suna rahi...

"Okay let's continue"...After hours and hours of practice sumona was finally ready..

Finally..the grand opening of Kahani Comedy Circus ki..

Kapil and Sumona were the second to last jodi to perform..

Sumona was nervous throughout everyone's performance..she was not sure how she would do on stage..the possibility of forgetting her dialogues was very high so she decided to write some of her lines on her hand to take a peek at when performing..

It was time for their performance..Kapil went in first and started them off..all that could be heard was laughter and more laughter..

Meanwhile...Sumona's nervousness had increased to the point where she got butterflies in her stomach..she started feeling sick but after taking one long breath..she entered..

"Baba...baba main agayi...ashirwad do"

"Pehle baba ko...*pointing at his cheek* pappi do.."

S: *thinking* Iss khadoos ko kaun pappi dena chahega..yeh kya line daal di Raj ne...

The act went on..

After their performance ended..Sumona sighed of relief.. "I survived!" she thought.

Then came their second performance...Sohail ended up calling Sumona an asset for Kapil...

Kapil was still in the "I don't want a daily soap actress as my partner" mode so he was shocked to hear such a comment..it got him thinking.. "Mujhe isko chance dena chahiye..."

S: *thinking* Ab toh Sohail ne bhi keh diya...pata nahi isko kab samajh ayega.
