Chapter 23

Aunty ji made Sumona meet everyone and introduction part took place. The party went smooth and well until Jitendar saw Sumona.

"Oye Hoye ! Yeh beautiphool kudi humarey ghar vich ?" Jitendar whispered in Kapil's ear who followed his gaze and he saw Sumona serving tea to everybody.

"Kya ladki hai yaar ! " Sumona now came to them with the tray of tea and Jitendar smiled.

"Hi. . Mein Jitendar pyaar se log jeetu keh kar bulatey hai " He forwarded his hand already mesmerized by her well shaped big eyes. She smiled at him.

"Oh khotey ! Woh haath kaise milayegi ?" Kapil snapped.

"Layiye na aap mujhe de dijiye yeh tray. . " He tried to take it.

"Nahi nahi rehne dijiye. . "

"Tu sirf apni chai ki cup utha wahan se " Kapil said through his gritted teeth and jeetu took one cup.

"Thank you ji"

"Your welcome" She was about to leave but he stopped her again and Kapil threw angry glares in his direction.

"Aapne apna naam nahi bataya "

"Ji mein-

"Meri honewali wali wife. . Sumona jo jald hi Mrs Kapil Sharma bannewali hai " Kapil put his one arm around jitendar who gulped looking at Kapil's fake smile.

"Oh. . Congrats bhabi ji " He quickly left the place.

Sumona giggled slightly.

"Jaanu yeh tum kya kar rahi ho ? Chodo na koi aur kar lega. .You come sit thodi pyaari bhari baatein kartey hai " Kapil said taking the tray from her and keeping it aside then holding her hand.

"Ji nahi ! Aap ab apni jaanu se door rahiye " One of Kapil's female cousins spoke.

"Kya ? Ek kamra door hi rehta hoon mein. . Tum logo ko taras nhi aata mujhpe ? Itni door rakte ho mujhe Sumo se " He was still holding her hand and Sumona did try to free it but it only made him tighten his grip.

" Ab toh tum dono zyada baatein bhi nahi kar saktey. . Shaadi ki date fix hogayi hai so tab tak No holding hands " Pooja separated their hands.

Pooja's words finally registered in his mind. He looked at Sumona, excitement at its peak.

"Matlab maa maangayi ?! Finallyyy " He was about to hug Sumona when the ladies cleared their throats & he moved away scratching his neck making all of them giggle.

"I am so happy for you both. . Lekin still shaadi tak milna jhulna band that's good for you " Pooja informed. Sumona was still unable to believe that this man will soon be her husband. She was just waiting to reach her room so that she could jump on the bed and take out all that joy.


The party was finally over & everyone tired in their rooms.

'Saala jisne bhi yeh rule banaya na shaadi se pehle zyada baat cheet nahi karne wala. . Usse pakka lakhoun logo ki bad duaein mili hogi' Kapil thought tossing on his bed every now & then.

"Kya yaar neend hi nahi aarahi " He groaned sitting on the bed. A huge grin made its way on his lips as a brilliant idea came in his mind.

"Sojao na Pari mujhe bhi neend aarahi hai " Sumona pleaded with Pari on her lap. When nothing worked to make her sleep Sumona lied down on the bed and Pari sat on her stomach. Seeing her mom shut her eyes for some sleep she too rested her head below Sumona's neck. She went all quiet sucking on her thumb wide awake.

It just took one face to make Pari jump happily.

"Ta ta tata " She made all those happy sounds and Sumona yelped in pain as Pari was still on her stomach.

"Pari stop ! Mumma ko dard ho raha hai " After saying so she looked to her side to know what made Pari so happy.
