Chapter 2

At dinner, KD was introduced to everyone. And we got a news saying that Juhi is gonna have twin boys. Maa was so happy that she made biryani for dinner. KD seemed kind of sad. I think he misses his family. I'll talk to him later.

We were sitting in the living room and talking about the party Dad hosts every Christmas Eve. It's filled with games and gifts!

"So what should we do this time?" Dad asked.

"How about we play secret santa?" Pratham bhaiya said as he munched down his cookies.

"Pratham!" Maa snatched the cookies from Pratham bhaiya, "From where did you get these?" Pratham bhaiya looked at Panchi dee.

"Secret Santa seems to be good." Jai said and all others nodded their heads in agreement.

"Okay so Secret Santa is it!" Dad said, but confused covered his face, "How are we gonna play that?"

Pratham bhaiya stood up, "Dad, when Piddi is here why to fear!"

Jaitlee bhai spoke, "Tu hi toh sabse bada fear hai!" And everyone giggled. I glanced at KD and he looked sad.

"So how are we gonna play the game Pratham bhaiya?" I asked.

"You'll be a secret santa of somebody. And you'll have a secret santa of your own. All you have to do is buy the best gift for the one of whom your being the secret santa."

Tomorrow we'll get to know our secret santa. This party is for everyone in the town. But after 10 oclock they go back to their house and we play our games..

I yawned, I looked at the clock, it was 12:00. I went upstairs. I took my pajamas out of my wardrobe. I needed a quick bath before sleeping.

After stepping out from the washroom it was 12:30. I looked downstairs, everyone was gone and the lights were off. I walked to my room and opened it.

My and KD's bed were facing eachother. Um.. where is KD? I looked around. Uh, he must be in the washroom.

I turned off the lights and went to my bed. Suddenly KD's phone started ringing.

What should I do now? Should I pick it up? No! I'm not suppose to do that.. he needs his privacy.

But what if the phone call is for an emergency!!

I debated myself whether to pick the phone or not. At last I picked it up.

"Hello?" I asked.

"Is this Keshav Desai's phone?"

"uh. Yeah. But I think.. he went to washroom. I'm Kiya Gujral."

"Oh, can you please tell Keshav to come to City Hospital in the morning to sign some papers."

"Yeah, sure." I replied and hung up the phone.

I turned around and bumped into a hard chest.

"I'm sorry, I was.." I was cut off by KD.

"going through my phone?" He said sternly.

"No, you had a phone call so I just picked up the phone" I felt him walk towards me. He caught my arms and pulled toward him.

"Don't ever touch my things. Understood!?" He screamed at me.

what the hell was KD's problem?! Ugh!

"What the hell?!" I screamed. I pushed his hands away. I on the lights. And walked back to him, "What if the phone call as an emergency call?!! And who calls at 12 oclock in the night?!" KD's eyes widen.

"You look sexy when you angry." My angry cooled down by his one sentence. I blushed.

"Uh, u have to go to City hospital in the morning, for some papers issue." I said.

"Thank you." He checked me out.

I was wearing a purple tank top and a white Capri. I blushed harder.

"Did you just check me out?" I raised my eye brow.

"Yes..maybe." He smirked and my heart skipped a beat.

God! I don't know how I'll survive with him!!

I need some miracle.

This chapter of my life was boring..? Well.. I was lazy to explain my feelings out as you know its 12 oclock.

I turned off the lights and jumped into my bed. Snoring…zz…z…

Aww, KD snores so cutely. I felt myself blush.

Chapter 3

I woke up by the sound of Piya crying. Ugh! I hate mornings. Grr. Thank God it was my off today. I looked at KD's bed he was gone. I got up from my bed grumpily. I closed my eyes and yawned. I started walking that's when my chest touched a wet hard thing. Without even thinking, I knew that it was KD's chest.

I sighed and opened my eyes, "I'm sorry for.. the hundredth time!" I was frustrated as hell! What is up with me? I keep bumping into people, correction not people, KD!

"Morning to you too." The shirtless KD said.

Did I add hot with shirtless? Cause he looked smoking hot. I lost my breathe. I wasn't able to speak.

"U..h.. Wear your clothes." I told him.

"Why you don't like me shirtless?" He walked towards me. His eye brow raised and a smirk on his face.

"Yah.. I mean no! No! Not at all!" I shook my head. I was blushing so hard.

KD walked towards me, and I kept moving backwards, "You are giving me a ride to the hospital" He blocked me. And pinned me to the wall with his hands.

Where is everyone?! Have they forgotten that they have a daughter??!!

I felt him move towards me, he was so close to me, I felt his minty toothpaste's smell. He had a very strong cologne.

"I love it when you blush." He slowly kissed my cheek. I blushed harder. I was red as a beetroot.

One thing was troubling me, my past. Why can't it go away? Why do I always have the fear that my past will haunt me?!

A tear fell from my eye. KD's eyes softened, "Whats wrong?" He whispered. I tried to push him away but that only made KD tighten his grip, "Whats wrong?!"

"Nothing is wrong okay!? Just leave me alone!!" I said right into his eyes, "Why are you all the same?! Play with someone's heart and then push them away." Tears started forming in my eyes, "You are flirting with me today and tomorrow I'll be a no one to you!" I pushed him, "You all just know how to play with girl's heart and then leave them." I whispered.

KD left my hand and looked right into my eyes. His eyes showed nothing but hurt.

I walked downstairs after taking a bath. I wanted to have some McDonalds. Mcdonalds always make me happy. I asked dad if I could go. He said to take KD as he had to go to the hospital.

The car ride was silent nobody said a word.

He went to hospital were as I just stood there in the car, with my grumbling stomach.

It didn't take him long and we drove to the McDonalds.

"Atlast!" I whispered. I ordered for myself and KD.

I started eating the burger. I was alright, that's when I had to go to the washroom, when I was coming back this stupid kid left his car on the floor which made my ankle twist. I screamed in pain. KD walked towards me and helped me get to the car.

"I'll drive." KD said. I just nodded.

I zoned off after that..

..

"She's so beautiful." An old lady said.

I woke and looked around, I saw KD and a old lady.

"Uh where am I?" I asked looking towards KD.

"This is my nani's house." KD told and I just nodded. I looked towards her and she smiled.

"You need anything?" She asked me politely.

I shook my head no.


"Okay Keshav, I'm going to my neighbor's house. If you need anything, you know where things are right?"

I got a text message from Pratham saying that KD is the person of whom im being the secret santa.

Uh.. what the hell?!

Nani walked away leaving me and KD alone.

"Why did you freak out in the morning..? And I need truth." KD asked me sternly.

I sighed, "Last year I was madly in love with this guy, Rohan. We were about to get engaged, that's when I found him cheating on me with my best friend. I was a wreck. He was my best friend since I was 13. I was so hurt by him. He asked for forgiveness but I was broken. And he was the reason behind it. I was hurt by 2 people, the ones the trusted as hell!" A tear slipped from my eyes, "This is why I was scared of getting close to you, I knew that you would leave me one day or another."

KD hugged me as I started to sob. KD kept whispering, "its okay.."

I didn't wanna get away from his warmth. He made me feel wonderful. Is this love'?
