Dark room

An accident scene in negatives is shown. The sound of someone gasping was heard. The scene shifts to a room which was too dark to see anything but there was something in the surroundings that will make anyone feel nervous and make you want to leave the place. The person tried to get out of the bed but could.

Everyone was having breakfast. Everything had already been set for the inauguration of the children's newspaper which would happen next week. Once everybody finished eating, Bauji told them about the magazine being launched next week.

Dadi: Ye baat sabse chupane ki kya zaroorat thi? (What was the need to hide this from us?)

Bauji: Bacche sabko surprise dena chahete the. (They wanted to give a surprise.)

Dhruv: Pehle bol dete to main kuch madad kar sakta tha. (If you told us before, I could have helped you.)

Vasu: Dhruv sahi keh raha hai. Apne contacts se asaani se yeh kaam ho jaata. (Dhruv is right. With his contacts you could have done this more easily.)

Thapki: Maa ye sab karna itna bhi mushkil nahi tha. Hum dono ne saath mein sab kuch asani se kardi. Aur Bauji aur bacchon ne bahut madad ki. (Mom, it was not difficult to do all these. Together we did that easily. And Bauji and the children helped us a lot.)

Dadi: Hum teeno ko chodke sabko pata tha kya? (Except the three of us, did everyone know about this?)

Dhruv's cabin

An employee knocked at the door.

Dhruv: Come in.

The employee entered the cabin and reported what he had found.

Employee: Sir Vishal abhi bahar gaya hai aur uska phone yahin reh gaya. Vo ab tak kisi ke saath kaam kar raha hai aur humara saath nahi de raha hai. Mujhe lagta hai ki usey police ke havaale kar dena chahiye. (Sir, Vishal just went outside and he forgot his phone here. He is still working with someone and is not supporting us. I think that we should hand him to the police.)

Dhruv: Abhi nahi. Pehle ye pata karle ki vo kiske liye kaam karta nahi. Uske baare mein aur kuch pata chale toh mujhe bata dena. (Not now. First let's find out for whom he is working. If you find something else about him, tell me.)

Employee: Ji Sir. (Yes Sir.)

Saying so, the employee resumed his work.

Dhruv's phone rang.

Dhruv: Haan maa. Main abhi nikal raha hoon. (Yes mom. I'm leaving the office.)

The Pandey family was having a goodtime. Bihaan was eating his kulfi when he noticed some stalls that he had previously ignored. Still sucking his kulfi, he gestured Thapki to take a look at the stall. The latter turned to look at what Bihaan was indicating but she found nothing of their interest. She gave him that what-look. Vasu: Ab ghar chalte hai. Maaji ko aaram karna hai. (Let's go home now. Mom needs to rest.)

Bihaan: Maa, ap log chaliye. Thapki aur main bacchon ke saath kuch der baad aate hai. (Mom, you go home. Thapki and I will come after some time with the kids.)

Bauji: Jaldi aana. (Come soon.)

Bihaan: Ji bauji. (Yes.)

The children continued to play, unknown to them that half of the family had already left.

Bihaan: Yahan pe bahut bacche aate hai na? (There are many children who come here, right?)

Thapki: Haan. Ye koi poochne ki baat hai. (Yes. Is it something to ask.)

Bihaan: Socho agar yahan pe hum apne akhbaar beche toh. (Think if we sell our newspaper her, what will happen.)

Bihaan and Thapki were on their way to the stall when Bihaan stopped.

The stall keeper noticed Bihaan and Thapki approaching. Seeing Bihaan, he started to feel afraid. However, he calmed down as he knew that there was no reason why Bihaan will do any harm to him. He is probably just coming here to buy something.

Thapki and Bihaan talked to him and he agreed to supply the magazine here. He did not want to fall into some kind of trouble because of rejecting their offer.

Bihaan: Dekha. Usne haan bola. (See. He said yes.)

Thapki: Bina kuch pooche usne haan kar diya. Ajeeb insaan hai. (He said yes without asking anything. Such a weird man.)

Bihaan: Humara kaam to hogaya. (Our work had been done.)

Mr. Gupta's office

Mr.Gupta: Tumhe lagta hai ki ye log ye newspaper kharidenge? (Do you think that people will buy this newspaper?)

Saurav: Ye toh ek hafte mein pata chalega. Mujse jo bhi kiya jaa sakta tha, maine kiya. Bihaan aur Thapki bhi bahut mehnat kar rahe hai. (We will know this in a week. I did whatever I could. Even Bihaan and Thapki are working very hard.)

Mr. Gupta: Par unhe business ke bare mein koi experience nahi hai. Kabhi kabhi darr lagta hai ki humse jaldbazi mein koi galat faisla nahi liya. (But they are inexperienced in terms of business. Sometimes I fear that we took a wrong decision.)

Saurav: Nahi pa. Maine Bihaan ke bare mein pata kiya. Usne 5 crores jeeta tha aur uska bhai ka channel bahut famous hai. Agar ye newspaper ka idea flop hua toh vo humara haar nahi hoga. Aur vaise bhi mujhe lagta hai ki bacchon ko ye newspaper bahut pasand aayenge. (No dad. I searched about Bihaan. He had won 50 millions and his brother runs a famous channel. Even if the newspaper is not a success, we will not lose anything. Anyway, I think that the children will love this newspaper a lot.)

Mr. Unknown's place

Employee: Doctor ne checkup kar diya. (The doctor has done the check up.)

Mr. Unknown: Hmm. Usne kya kaha? (Hmm. What did he say? )

Room(flashback)

Doctor: Mr. Raichand(employee) mujhe lagta hai ki patient ko hospital shift karna chahiye. Agar hum usey ache treatment de toh vo jaldi se thik hogayega. (Mr Raichand, I think that we should shift the patient to the hospital. If we give her the proper treatment she will get well soon.)

Mr.Raichand: Sir kabhi nahi maanege. (Sir will never agree.)

Doctor: Main baat karlunga usey.Aap Mr. Jindal ko bulaaye. I'm sure vo apne beti ke treatment ke liye usey hospital shift karne ke liye manega. (I'll talk to him. Call Mr, Jindal. I'm sure that he will agree to shift his daughter to the hospital for her treatment.)

Present

Mr. Jindal: Viraj, maine kuch puccha hai. (I asked something, Viraj.)

Mr. Raichand told him what the doctor had said.

Mr.Jindal: Treatment ki kya zaroori hai? Jaisa chal raha hai chalne do. (What is the need for any treatment? Let things stay like they are now.)

Mr. Raichand: Hum kab tak usey yaahan pe rakhenge? Mujhe lagta hai ki ab hume ye sab khatam karna chahiye. (Till when will we keep her here? I think we should stop all these.)

Mr. Jindal: Acha tumhe aisa lagta hai. (Oh, so you think like this.)

Mr. Jindal got up from his chair and moved towards Viraj.

Mr. Jindal: Kisi aur ne ye baat kaha hota toh tumhe pata hai ki main kya karta. Par tum mere chote bhai ki tarah ho. Isiliye main tumhe iss galti ke liye maaf karta hoon. (If someone else had said that you know what would have happened. But you are like my little brother, that's why I'm forgiving you for this mistake.)

Thahaan's office

Bihaan was waiting for Thapki to come. He saw her stepped out of a van which made him confused. By the time he got out of the office, Thapki was already instructing the men to fix a signage board.

Juniors' news

Thapki(seeing Bihaan coming): Aao. Dekho. Acha hai na. (Come and look. This is so nice.)

Bihaan: Tedi hai. (It's tilted.)

Thapki looked at the board. Bihaan was right.

Bihaan: Oye bhaisaab, thoda sa uper... (Move it a little upwards to the left...)

Seeing the men struggling, Bihaan asked one of them to get down. He climbed the stepladder and fixed the board.

Bihaan: Thapki, ab theek hai? (Thapki, is it horizontal now?)

Thapki: Thoda aur niche lao. (Tilt it a bit.)

Bihaan did as she asked. Thapki gave him a thumbs up.

Next day

Thahaan's room

Thapki was checking her mail. She then called someone.

Thapki: Neela, kya tum phir se apna article likh sakti ho. Use some simpler words. (Neela, can you rewrite the article. Use simpler words.)

Neela: Yes mam.

Thapki: Dus baje tak bhej dena. (Send it by ten o'clock.)

11:00

Mr. Jindal's place

A man comes to meet Mr. Jindal. He hands him some photographs. These are Thapki and Bihaan's office photographs. Mr. Jindal signaled the man to go from there. He took a deep breath to stay calm and then called Mr. Raichand.

Mr.Jindal(giving him the photos): Ye kya hai? (What is this?)

Raichand: Mujhe iske bare mein kuch nahi pata. Vishal ne toh kuch nahi bataya. Shayad unhone ek alag sa business start kiya. (I don't know anything about this. Vishal told me nothing about this. Maybe they are starting a business not related to 365 news.)

Jindal: Ye Dhruv bahut shaatil hai. Mujhe pura vishwas hai ki vo kuch bada karne ki soch raha hai aur uska bhai uska saath de raha hai. (That Dhruv is very smart. I'm sure that he is thinking of doing something big and his brother is supporting him.)

Raichand: Par Sir, in donon business mein kya connection hai? (But what is the connection in these two businesses?)

Jindal: Connection ho ya na ho, tumhe iss company ko band karna hai aaj hi. (Whether there is a connection or not, you must close down this company today itself.)

Jindal signaled Raichand also to go from there. The latter turned away and rolled his eyes, thinking that Mr. Jindal was losing his mind because of his age.

Juniors' news' office

Thapki(shouting): Bani tape kahan hai? (Where is the (adhesive) tape?)

Bani came there and gave her the tape with was hidden by the sheets of newspaper on the table.

Bani: Mumma yahin to tha. (Mom, it was here.)

Thapki: Papa kaahan hai? Usey bulake aao. (Where is your dad? Call him here.)

Bani: Abhi? (Right now?)

Thapki: Haan. (Yes.)

One minute later

Bani: Vo busy hai. (He is busy.)

Thapki: Mujhe uski zaroorat hai. Usey bol do ki sirf do minute ka kaam hai. (I need him. Tell him it is just for a two-minute work.)

Some minutes later

Seeing that neither Bihaan nor Bani came to her, Thapki went to search for them. They were outside on the porch.

Thapki: Bihaan, mere saath aao. (Bihaan, come with me.)

Bihaan: Main kuch kaam kar raha hoon. Meri madad karo. (I'm doing something. Help me.)

Bihaan(to Bani): Bani, tum sabke saath khelne jaa sakti ho. (Bani, you can go and play.)

Thapki: Pehle andar ka kaam karte hai. (Let's do the chores needed indoors first.)

Bani went to play with her cousins and sister while her parents were bickering.

Thapki and Bihaan were still arguing when a car stopped by. An unknown man(Raichand) in his forties got down from the car. He looked around and spotted them.

15:45

Juniors' news

Mr. Raichand walked to Thapki and Bihaan who had not yet noticed him. He directly forwarded an office bag. Bihaan and Thapki looked at each other. None of them knew who this man was.

Bihaan: Ye kya hai? Aur aap kaun ho? (What is this? And who are you?)

Mr. Raichand: Viraj Raichand. Ye paisa le aur ye ...(looking at the signage board) Juniors' news band kar. (Viraj Raichand. Take this money and close this ...(looking at the signage board) Juniors' news. )

Bihaan: Kya mazak hai ye? Apna paisa lekar yaahan se jao. (What is this joke? Take your money and go from here.)

Raichand: Mazaak to aap kar rahe hai. Apko kya lagta hai ki ye business successful hoga. Main ye hone nahi dunga. Isiliye main keh raha hoon ki aap dono ye paise lijiye aur ek naya sa business start karde. Varna apne barbaadi ke liye taiyaar rehna. (You are the one who is joking. What do you think? This is when Mr. Raichand got hit by a pebble. Almost immediately more pebbles were being thrown at him. He gave a last look at Thapki and Bihaan. These two were not going to agree so easily. He should use some other methods. He walked to his car, sat inside, called someone and went from there.

The kids came out of their hiding, giggling.

Veer: Uncle to humse mile bina chale gaye. (That uncle went without meeting us.)

Then he burst out laughing and gave a high-five to the other three.

Thapki: Hum shaanti se baat kar rahe the na. Tum logon ko ye nahi karna chahiye tha. (We were talking peacefully. You should not have done this.)

Bihaan: Baat to hum kar rahe the. Tum to chup chap kardi this. (I was the one talking. You were just standing silently.)

Bihaan(Seeing Thapki's stern look): Bacchon ye nahi karna chahiye tha. Agli baar kisi ne ye kiya toh usey punishment milega. (Kids, you should not have done this. Next time any of you do this, he will be punished.)

However his chucking in between made Thapki angry and she went inside the office. Bihaan was about to go after her when he heard the sound of some vehicles coming to a sudden halt. He saw two jeeps with some goons inside. Bihaan ordered the kids to go inside. The kids bumped with Thapki who was coming out to see what made this screeching sound. Bihaan noticed her and asked her to go inside, ensure that the kids were safe and call the police. He knew that these goons were Mr. Raichand's men. Bihaan was wrong to think that he was giving some empty threats.

Dhruv's office

A phone was vibrating. The employee took a look at the phone. It had 27 missed calls and some messages. The phone was still where the employee had placed it the previous day. Vishal had not yet returned. He looked around and took the phone with him and went inside Dhruv's cabin. He showed him the phone. Dhruv and his employee read the messages. Most of them were from the same person who they presumed was his sister. The messages said that they (their family) were safe and he should return home as soon as possible.

Dhruv send her a message asking about her whereabouts. After some minutes, he got the reply: Ghar pe. (At home.) Dhruv had to check Vishal's personal data to know his address.

Employee: Sir main apke saath chalunga. (Sir, I'll go with you.)

18:00

Vasu: Bihaan aur Thapki kaahan hai? Bacche bhi unke saath hai. (Where are Bihaan and Thapki? The kids are also with them.)

Bauji: Aa jayenge. Aap unko kyun dhood rahe hai? (They will come. Why are you looking for them?)

Vasu: Aaj main ek special dinner taiyaar kiya hai. (I had planned a special dinner today.)

Bauji: Dhruv, Ashwin aur Sanjay ko aap bhul gaye. Weh bhi abhi tak ghar nahi laute. (You forgot Dhruv, Ashwin and Sanjay. They also have not returned.)

Vasu: Dhruv ne kaha ki ek zaroori kaam ke vajah se vo bahut der aayega aur Ashwin aur Sanjay aate hi honge. Bus Bihaan aur Thapki phone nahi utha rahe hai. (Dhruv will come very late because of some work and Ashwin and Sanjay will come at any minute. It is just Bihaan and Thapki who are not answering the call.)

Bauji: Apne office ke number pe phone kiya? (Did you try the office number?)

Vasu: Nahi. Abhi karti hoon. (No. I'll do it right now.)

Vasu tried the number but no one picked up the phone. Now, both of them started to fear something bad has happened. Bauji tried their phone number but again no one answered.

Dhruv's car

Employee: Sir, apko lagta hai Vishal ke parivaar vaale jaante hai ki vo kiske liye kaam karta hai. (Sir, do you think that Vishal's family knows for whom he works?)

Dhruv: Yehi pata karne jaa rahe hai. (It is to know this that we are going there.)

He stopped the car and the two men stepped outside. The area was dark and the only persons on the street looked dangerous and suspicious. Their stares proved that they were not welcomed here.
