No issues dear. I know every one is busy. Haha ya so this is how he got trapped but whom to blame but destiny 😉

Chapter 6

It was dark. Pitch dark. He was running... Way too fast... He was experiencing shortness of breath...He knew someone or something was following him... He was sweating badly. His eyes were getting shut... He was falling short of oxygen... His lungs were hurting. He heard a voice coming form some where. He saw a well at a distance. Some one was calling his name from that well. He ran towards that well. He reached the well and looked inside. He saw her face in the water. He got shocked. She was calling him from that well. He wanted to turn back and run. But her voice hitched him to her and he reached his hand into the well to take her out. During the process his foot slipped and he started falling in the well. A scream escaped his lips but there was no one to save him.

Thapki had finally fallen asleep. She was missing her Mom badly. She cried for hours remembering her and having her one sided dialog session with her. She heard a scream which woke her up. It was dark so could not figure out from where the scream was coming. She switched on the lamp on her bed side and finally realized that it was Bihaan who was screaming in his sleep. Thapki got closer to him and tried to wake him up by shaking his body. His eyes were open but he seemed to be mentally absent from the room. He was sweating badly.

Some one knocked at the door. She got up quickly and opened the door. Suman Bhabhi with a worried face was standing at the door. She quickly moved in and went to Bihaan's bed side. Bihaan was lying in bed fully awaken but in immense pain.

Suman: Wat happened Bihaan Devar Ji?

Bihaan looked at her face but did not say anything. His eyes were red and he was holding his head in his hands.

Thapki: "Suman Bhabhi we were just sleeping and then I heard some screams and then when I switched on the light, Bihaan was screaming in his sleep"

Suman: "But did he not tell you not to switch off the lights"

Thapki: "No when I came back to room he was already asleep so I ..."

Suman: "It is okay Thapki. It is not your fault. You did not know"

Thapki had an inquiring look on her face but she did not say anything as she saw Suman moving towards Bihaan again. Suman sat on the bed.

Suman: "Bihaan Devar Ji. You are okay and you are at your home safe and sound"

Finally Bihaan responded. He looked at Suman Bhabhi and took a deep breath.

Bihaan: "Same dream Bhabhi and then the darkness in the room"

Thapki (with a guilty face): "I am sorry... I did not know"

Bihaan did not say anything which made Thapki feel more guilty.

Suman (after realizing Thapki's condition): "Oho it is okay Thapki. It is just Buihaan Devar Ji had a bad dream and then the dark room makes his condition even more. You do not know na but u will and..."

Bihaan (interrupting): "Suman Bhabhi u must go and sleep. Pari must be alone in the room"

Suman looked at Bihaan and understood his expression.

Suman: "Yes I should leave now.You people also sleep and this time do not switch off the light"

She saw the confused look on Thapki's face but left the room leaving Thapki and Bihaan alone. Thapki shut the door again and came to bed. She sat on her side of bed and looked at Bihaan. Bihaan was finally looking better. He took some medicine out of his bed side table and took it with a glass of water. Thapki wanted to ask him questions but she did not. She knew that he will not tell her anything as she is not his confidant.

Thapki: "Bihaan I am so sorry. I did not know that darkness affects you badly"

Bihaan: "You must sleep now"

He said that and lied down on the bed. Thapki felt awkward. She also lied down on the bed. She turned her face towards Bihaan. He was lying down with his face towards the wall. She saw his back. A strong masculine back. He was the Man. The man of her life. She kept staring at his back. She stayed awake for a long time. Firstly coz she was not used to sleep in the light and mainly coz her mind was thinking abt the happenings of the house till date.

The weekend had begun so the day started late in PN. Thapki heard some voices coming from downstairs. She looked at Bihaan's side but he was missing. She wondered who these people were and why were they chatting so excitedly. She looked at the wall clock and jumped out of the bed. It was 10:30 am and she was still sleeping. She took a little better shalwar kameez suit from her bag and went to the wash room to freshen up.

Bihaan was looking damn hot in his blue jeans and casual White T-shirt. He was extremely happy as he was sitting with his beloved dadi and the family.

Dadi had gone on yatra with her grand children. Dhruv, Ashwin, Sanjay, Kiran and Preeti had gone with her.

Bihaan could not go as he had to go to Pune for official work. Suman Bhabi also had to stay as her daughter was too young for such travels.

Dadi: "Bihaan you should have gone with us. But it is okay as I prayed for you that you always get the best in your life and that no trouble ever come in your way"

Bihaan: "Your prayers do not work in my favor and this time the trouble found me again"

Dadi: "Why are you saying so?"

Bihaan: "I am just kidding Dadi. I am wat I am all coz of your love and prayers"

Dadi lovingly hugged him. He was her fav grand child.

Bihaan started chatting with Ashwin and Sanjay. Preeti Bhabhi and Kiran were telling Suman the stories of their visit.

Thapki walked into the room and every one stopped talking. They were looking at her with confused looks.

Dadi: "Here comes my Thapki"

Everyone including Thapki looked at Dadi with shocked expressions.

Dadi: "Why are you standing there, come here na"

Thapki walked towards dadi and took her blessings. Dadi gave her the blessings. She made Thapki sit on the sofa next to her. On Dadi's other side was sitting Bihaan.

Dadi to all: "Why are you looking at me with confused eyes. She is Thapki...Bihaan's wife"

Everyone shouted "wat" in chorus.

Kiran: "Bhai wat is dadi saying?? When did u marry???"

Preeti: "Bihaan devar ji is this true?"

Before Bihaan could reply, Dadi interrupted.

Dadi: "You can ask all the details later on. First u all introduce urself to Thapki"

Kiran made a bad face and left the room. Dadi ignored her but Bihaan turned sad suddenly. Thapki sat there expressionless. She was now getting used to being accepted by some family members and rejected by the others.

Ashwin: "Hello Thapki. I am Ahswin. I am Bihaan's cousin brother. His bua's (Father's sister) son and this is Sanjay my younger brother and Suman's husband"

Sanjay nodded his head only with a smile on his face. Thapki found both Ashwin and Sanjay as friendly people. She smiled back at both.

Ashwin: "And this is my stylish and very pretty wife Preeti"

Thapki looked at Preeti but Preeti neither smiled nor said anything.

Dadi: "Kiran is the youngest of all in the house and is very pampered. She is the only girl in the family so Balwinder loves her a lot. She is nice but moody. She will soon become your friend so you do not worry. My other grand child Dhruv is absent from here. He just dropped us here and went straight to meet his fiance Shradha. The two are getting married soon and we went to yatra to pray for the marriage to happen peacefully"

Thapki had instantly fallen in love with Dadi. She was the cutest Dadi ever. She never had a Dadi or Nani and did not know much about them so she knew she will get the due love from Bihaan's dadi and it made her feel happy.

Dadi: "And Bihaan is the apple of my eye. And u being his wife will also be very dear to me. She hugged Bihaan and Thapki together"

Balwinder and Vasu entered the room. They both took blessings from her.

Blawinder: "Maa you did not inform us at all. U always give us surprises"

Vasu: "Maa I hope ur trip was successful and comfortable. Btw where is Dhruv?"

Dadi: "Yes my children. The trip was awesome. And Dhruv is at his fav place"

Vasu: "This boy is impossible. His love for Shradha is crazy

She laughed and looked at Thapki and Bihaan. Bihaan felt uneasy. Thapki did not notice her. Suman entered the room and asked every one to move to the dinning room for breakfast and tea.

Balwinder had told Dadi abt Thapki and Bihaan's sudden marriage and had explained her everything. Dadi heard it all and agreed that Bihaan had made the right decision. It was balwinder who arranged for the court marriage by using his contacts.

After going to her room Dadi called Bihaan into her room.

Dadi: "Come Bihaan and sit with me"

Dadi was sitting on the bed. Bihaan went to the bed and put his head in Dadi's lap. Dadi could feel that he was tensed.

Dadi: "I made special prayer for you and I am sure that my prayers got answered and see you who always ran from the topic of marriage got married and that too with such a nice girl"

Bihaan did not say anything. Dadi continued.

Dadi: "Life is a long ride and right life partner makes it very smooth. I know Vasu does not like Thapki coz Thapki is very different from her but Vasu is very different from me too. It does not mean that I will oppose or dislike Vasu. You and Thapki might look very different but one thing which is common between you two is the purity of your hearts"

Bihaan: "You have just met her only and you already taking her side"

Dadi: "I am not taking her side but I am taking yours. Remember that Thapki is now a part of you. Her honour is now your honour. You should never let any one disrespect her"

Bihaan (irritatingly): "Dadi we have met after so long and you are just talking abt her. Ok now tell me abt ur trip. Wat all u did?"

Dadi smiled. She knew how stubborn he was. He will do wat he feels like. But she knew that he will never leave Thapki alone and that was the satisfaction she required at this time. Rest she knew will fall into place at the right time.

Bihaan was coming out of Dadi's room when he saw Dhruv entering the house. He stopped to greet him. Dhruv looked extremely happy. And why wouldn't he be. He was getting married to the love of his life in few weeks time.

Dhruv: "Aha my brother Bihaan. How r u man?"

Bihaan: "I am fine Dhruv. How r u?"

Dhruv: "I am the best as always"

He started laughing at his own joke.

Dhruv: "So I heard u married Thapki"

Bihaan did not say anything.

Dhurv: "Oho but y am I asking u. Shradha never lies"

Bihaan made a bad face at the mention of Shradha's name.

Dhruv: "Congrats bro. U finally got wat u deserved"

He again started laughing. Bihaan started to leave but Dhruv stopped him.

Dhruv: "Arre where r u going bro??? We have so much to discuss"

Thapki had a nice time with dadi. She spent some time with her in her room alone after breakfast and Dadi treated her with love and care as if she was something very precious. She then asked Dadi to take rest and searched for Suman. Every one had a late breakfast and were in no mood to have lunch so Suman and she went for shopping and bought stuff for Thapki. Thapki was really excited after her first real shopping experience. Suman took Pari to her room and Thapki went towards Dadi's room to show her the shopping. She was too excited and wanted to share her joy with the person who she knew will be happy seeing her happy.

She was crossing the lounge when she heard Dhruv and Bihaan talking. Bihaan sounded angry. She stopped and listened.

Bihaan (in an angry tone): "Shut up Dhruv and do not say this ever again. I do not want to listen to the shit u have in ur mind. Stay in ur limits and I will remain in mine"

He angrily got up from his place and walked out. On his way out he saw a confused Thapki. He looked at her and quickly left the house.
