I think what they were showing was that Thapki was not affected with the text message and did not care about the marriage truth, but when Bihaan apologized and signed the papers, she realized he was genuinely sorry. So she stopped the divorce to get back in the house and find the truth.

I don't think divorce drama is over..they will come back to it. Right now, they have established that Thapki has zero interest in Bihaan or his feelings. And they won't change that. Both of them falling in love is way too much. Another point..Thapki crying while she remembers marriage and old scenes doesn't make sense too if she is back only for truth. So I am blaming the director here..wrong tears at wrong time.
