Everyone was shocked. 😲 It was the first time Anu had slapped Taani. Tears rolled down her cheeks as she ran away from the house, upset and angry.
Meanwhile, Neelu was shouting at Anurag.
Neelu: How dare you hit her Anu? You could have listened to her. She was right. Here's the proof.
Robby played the speech. Anu was shocked. 😲
Anu: Just because you Nupur, I hit my best friend. I'm so ashamed of myself. 😡
Anu dragged Nupur out of the house and headed straight to Taani's house.
He went onto Taani's room and saw her crying.
Anu: Taani, I'm really sorry. I didn't know. Give me any punishment.
Taani: Why should I forgive you? Every time we find out something and tell your family, they always blame us and never believe us. I never thought you would do this Anu.
Anu: I know Taani. I'm never going to forgive myself but I just wanted to say that I'm really sorry.
He got up from his bed and disappeared.
As Anu was walking out of Taani's room, he bashed into a flower vase and cut his hand.
Taani heard a noise and rushed out of her room.
Taani: Anu!!! What happened?
She brought the first aid box and wrapped the bandage around his wrist.
Taani: You should be more careful. You never take care of yourself...
Anu was just staring at Taani while she was talking. She saw Anu looking at her and gazed at him aswell. It was a cute eyelock.
Taani: It's done.
Anu realized he was back to reality and stood up.
Anu: Taani, I'm really sorry. Please forgive me otherwise I'll cut my hand again. 😉
Taani: Don't you ever think of doing that again. I forgive you.
They both hugged and walked to his house.
As soon as they went into the house, Neelu sent Anu upstairs.
Neelu: Tomorrow was supposed to be Anu's engagement. What shall we do?
Shekher: We have to find someone for Anu and get her engaged with him tomorrow. But who?
Taani: I'll get engaged to Anu.
Shekher: What!!
Taani: This is the only way you will not be ashamed. But first, I have to ask Anu.
Baba and Neelu Maa nodded as I went upstairs.
Taani knocked on Anu's door.
Anu: Come in.
Taani entered his room.
Taani: Erm... Anu, woh, I have to get engaged to you tomorrow.
Anu just nodded his head.
Taani: Is that ok?
Anu: Yh. We have to do this to save our family's honour. What if Nupur had ran away tomorrow?
Taani: Just be glad that I found out today.
Anu: Thank you Taani.
Taani: You're most welcome.
The engagement day arrived and Mauli and Laboni dressed Taani. Taani was wearing a beautiful purple sari, with silver sequins. They took her to the Ganguly's house. As soon as she entered, Anu was amazed. He kept staring at Taani.
Robby: Who are you looking at?
Anu: Taani, aur kon...
Anu realized that Robby was trying to tease him and slapped him round the head.
Taani stood next to Anu.
Anu whispered: You look very beautiful.
Taani blushed. 😳
They exchanged the rings and everyone applauded.
Neelu took Taani and Anu to meet everyone. While they were walking, some ladies were whispering to each other.
Lady: The girl looks poor. They should have got someone better for Anu.
Anu was furious. 😡 He was going to go up to them, but Taani stopped him. She shook her head.
The party ended and Taani went home. She was so happy. Taani had finally got engaged to Anu.
