Part 6:
Suddenly, someone touched Taani's shoulder's. Taani quickly wiped her tears and turned around to see Robby.
Robby: Taani, why are you crying?
Taani: Nothing, just some dust went into my eyes.
Robby made a look on his face, which made Taani laugh. 😆 Robby smiled. 😊
Robby: You're upset because dada and Nupur are together?
Taani couldn't lie this time. He was like her best friend. She nodded her head.
Robby: I have to tell dada. I mean, he's known you for the whole of his life and Nupur has only known him for eight years.
Taani: Robby wait. Please don't tell him. Tujhe meri auri Anu ki kasam.
Robby couldn't disagree.
Voice: Ahemmm...
Robby and Taani turned around to see Anurag. She wiped her tears as Anu came up to them.
Anu: So what are you both doing here? Did you make Taani cry?
Robby: Dada, why would I ever do that?
Robby walked out of the balcony. Anu looked at Taani as if he was waiting for an answer.
Taani: We were talking about our childhood memories when I thought of Baba.
Robby looked at Taani and a smile crept up on his face. 😊 Taani started to cry 😭 as Anu hugged her. 🤗 Suddenly Nupur came and Anu let go of Taani instantly.
Nupur: Sorry I disturbed you. Taani, what happened?
Taani: Just some childhood memories.
Taani smiled at Anu. 😊 She hoped that Anu didn't tell Nupur everything about their childhood.
Taani said goodbye and went back to her house.
Tomorrow was Anu's birthday. Taani, Mauli, Robby, AM, PM and Subodh were throwing Anu a surprise party. After all, it was going to be their first birthday with him after he had come back from America.
Taani felt very awkward when Nupur stood so close to Anu. Every
time Taani saw them together, Robby would smile.
Finally, the day had arrived. The group rushed to Mauli's house and fixed the decorations. Taani texted Anu a 'Happy Birthday' message.
In Ganguly House
Nupur was taking Anu to a club where she had organized a special party for him. Anu checks his phone to see a message from Taani:
Happy Birthday motu!! Hope all ur wishes come true. Btw, come to Mauli's house at 6!!! -Taani xxx
Anu was overwhelmed. He was just about to go when Nupur dragged him onto the dance floor.
Anu thought: I can't upset Nupur nor can I upset Taani. I'll just have to stay with Nupur. I should be able to pacify Taani later.
Mauli's house
It had been half an hour and still Anu had not arrived. Taani tried to call him, but he wasn't picking up. They were very upset. Mauli told Robby to ask his parents where he was.
In five minutes, Robby came back.
Robby: Dada has gone with Nupur to Zing Club.
Taani was heartbroken. 💔 Taani, Robby and Mauli drove to the club.
Zing Club
Taani couldn't believe it. 😲 Anurag was dancing so happily with Nupur.
Taani thought: He had spent eight years with her, but still couldn't come to my party. He could've informed me.
Anu saw Taani. He called her name but she ran home.
Taani's house
Taani dumped the present on the table and locked her door. Anu came and saw the present. On the label it said:
To my dearest Anu, Happy Birthday!
Love from your best friend, Taani.
Anu knocked on the door. Taani didn't open it.
Taani thought: Why should I? Every time he always hurts my feelings.
Then Taani remembered that it was still Anu's birthday. She opened the door to find him sitting down, unwrapping the present. Taani sat beside him.
Anurag smiled as soon as he saw it. 😊 In the box was a fat angel, a silver coin and a photo.
Anu:I'm really sorry. I had no intention of hurting you. Thank you so much Taani! You've still kept the angel and coin?
Taani: It's ok Anu. I know you would never intend of hurting me. Obviously I would keep it. Whatever you gave me, I have always kept it.
Anu hugged Taani. 🤗 If Anu and Taani couldn't be together as a couple, then there is one thing that they would always be. Best Friends Forever!
