I have a feeling that this gal Nupur or whoever she is , is kinda obsessive kinda gal andshe is obsessed with our Onu. And Onu owing to the fact that they were his family for the past 8yrs, with gratitude accepted her.
Or may be emotional blackmail of her father or wat ever.....
But I strongly belive that be it wat ever the reason, Onu always loved Tani.
As in the begining of the story they mentioned Onu's love for tani so...
