Character sketch.

Manvi Taneja - A 22 year old girl who was adopted by the Taneja family. She was the youngest member of the family (assuming twinkle to be 26 and Mahi being two years younger to her). She was rescued by leela and twinkle when they had gone to pick Mahi up from the airport 5 years back. She had met with an accident and seeing her state and knowing that there was no one to take care of her,leela and twinkle decided to adopt her and get her to their house. She's a sweetheart and is loved by everyone in the family. She's chirpy and loves twinkle the most.She somewhat knows about twinkle's past but never asked for further details knowing it would hurt twinkle.

Chapter 1

As usual after a long day,the Taneja ladies (Leela,Twinkle,Mahi and Manvi) sat together in twinkle's room talking about how their day went. It was a like ritual to sit together at night and discuss if they had any problems and they would together find solutions for the same. Twinkle had joined Leela in her business while Mahi had taken up law,she wanted to help all those helpless wives who were being tortured by their husbands.
Late at night :

"Mahi putar Tera aaj ka din kaisa Gaya" asked leela while folding clothes

"Theekh tha maa,filhal Meine ek Aisi ladki ka case liya hai jiska pati Bohot abusive hai par mujhe pura yakeen hai main usse insaf (justice) dila dungi",said Mahi while adjusting her glasses.
She was still the same.

"Mujhe pura yakeen hai ki yeh case tu hi jeetegi" said leela looking at twinkle while twinkle nodded before going back to folding clothes.

Manvi who was witnessing all this glanced once at leela then at Mahi and then at Twinkle before finally getting up and letting out a frustrated groan.

"haww! Aap log kitne mean ho,kissi ne mujhe toh pucha hi nahi ki mera din kaisa tha" said Manvi.

"Kyun Tu kaunsa pattar Todne wala kaam karti hai,pura din toh bas ghar pe Baith ke khati rehti hai",said twinkle in a teasing manner as she gave a high-five to Mahi who in return winked at her too.

It was always fun to watch Manvi turn red when teased by Mahi and twinkle.

"Maa aapne dekha twinkle di aur Mahi kaise mera maazak udda rahe hai" said Manvi while pouting.

"Oho Tum Dono meri baachi ko pareshaan karna band Karo" said leela pointing her fingers at Mahi and twinkle.

"Haw maa Kya sirf Manvi aapki Beti hai? Hum nahi?" Asked twinkle showing fake sadness while Manvi showed her tongue to her.

Before leela could answer,
"Oye mujhe tease karti hai,abhi batati Hun" said twinkle and with that she started running behind Manvi all around the room.

It was such a delight to watch both the girls running behind each other and laughing whole heartedly,thought leela as she got emotional.
Mahi who was on the other hand witnessing the the chasing between the two looked at her mother who by now had tears in her eyes.
She understood her mother's emotions. Twinkle had suffered a lot in the past 5 years and watching her laugh and being the same old twinkle again,Mahi and leela prayed that twinkle would stay happy and if there was any pain written in her destiny then it should be given to them instead.

"Arre yaar mein toh Bohot thak gayi,aaj ke bas karte hai Mannu" said twinkle half panting.

"Haan di,Bohot excersise ho gayi ke liye,mujhe toh phirse bhuk lag Rahi hai" said Manvi giggled as she went she hugged twinkle tightly.

"Bohot ho gayi Tum logo ki Nautanki,chalo Abb so jao kal twinkle humari Bohot important meeting hai" said leela as she folded the last cloth.

"Maa mujhe samjh nahi aara ki mein kal Kya pehenu,kal meri client ke saath ek meeting hai,please meri help kardo na" said Mahi.

"Mein bhi Aati Hun" chirped Manvi and with that the ladies wished each other goodnight and left the room.

Twinkle smiled as she kept all the clothes in the cupboard. She was indeed very lucky to have such a family. She couldn't have asked for more.
As she kept the clothes on the rack,her phone buzzed breaking her chain of thoughts.
Twinkle Walked towards the bed where her phone was kept wondering who could have called at the time at night.

Private number.

Twinkle - "hello?"

Unknown person - "hello,Kya mein Mrs.Twinkle Kunj Sarna se baat kar Rahi Hun?"

And in that moment twinkle's world has stopped. It had been quite a long time since someone had referred to her as 'Mrs. Sarna' after Kunj's death,she had dropped his surname and went back to her maiden name 'Taneja'

Twinkle -"ji aap kon?" Asked twinkle which sounded more like a whisper.

Unknown - "Mrs.Sarna,Kya mein aap se mil sakti Hun?"
