So I hope you guys will like it and as I always say constructive criticism is always welcome. Thode badmaash ho tum...
Just as Kunj was about to enter their bedroom he saw Twinkle sitting on the bed reading a book. This is going to be so much fun!!' he thought to himself. He silently went back a few steps and then entered again.
"Oh My God! Twinkle you are reading a book!. "He shrieked loudly.
Twinkle was startled with his shriek and jumped snapping the book shut and accidently hiding it behind her away from Kunj's line of vision.
"Kya yaar Twinkle, I wanted to click a picture, put it on WhatsApp and then caption it Breaking News!!!! Miss Amritsar Twinkle Taneja reads a book to find to new ways to create Siyaapa.' By the way what were you reading?" He said flopping on the bed beside her, languidly resting his head on her lap.
"Sadoo Sarna"she muttered to herself but couldn't stop the smile forming on her lips.
"You said something?" Kunj asked her.
"I said I wasn't reading anything important. You know it's not Twinkle Taneja. Its Twinkle Kunj Sarna,"she said with a hint of pride in her voice making Kunj smile. He wrapped his arm around her waist hugging her as he tried to reach for the book behind her back. Leaning in some more he managed to clasp the book in his fingers and pulled his hand back.
"Ahha! What do we have here?" he looked at the book and was surprised looking. It was an adult romance novel with half naked people gracing the cover. He looked up at a dazed and embarrassed looking Twinkle, "Hmm so this is what you were hiding huh?"
"I wasn't hiding it. Chinky gave it to me today, I swear I didn't read it", she replied not looking everywhere but in his eyes.Then looking a bit more confident dared to ask "Anyway what is the big deal? "
"Liar, Liar Twinkle you are fire..you see the bookmark tells a different story. It makes me wonder what my innocent wifey reading that she wanted to hide it hmm?" He acted as if pondering over his thoughts.
Kunj always did things that shocked and surpised her but never in her wildest thoughts had she thought that he would turn to the page that she was reading a few minutes ago and start reading it out aloud, "Alexis felt his hand moving towards her-"
A very flushed Twinkle snatched the book out of his hands and closed it, "Bas bohut ho gaya.. "
He smirked at her, seeing her flushed cheeks he pulled her against himself, "No big deal darling, just wondering why would you need this when you can have the real deal."
The feeling of this closeness made her stomach tingle which made her fidgety with the collar of his shirt.The intimacy was still very new in their relationship. To stop her nervousness from becoming evident she tried to distract them both. "Kunj how was day in college today?"
Kunj shook his head realizing what she was trying to do. He did know her so well after all and decided to have a little fun. He leaned in a little further, "Arre yaar Twinkle tum na typical wife ki tarah act karne lagi ho...Main soch raha hu main bhi thoda typical husband jaise behave kar hi leta hu, kya kehti hai?"
"Wh-What d-do y-ou mean?" Twinkle stuttered.
"Lip to lip de kissiyan Le kissiyan ve,Lip to lip de kissiyan Le kissiyan ve " He hummed. Twinkle burst out laughing listening to him. Her laughter was his favourite music and yet he acted as if he were annoyed because she laughed at him.
She looked at his face before deciding to give him fitting reply.
"Thode Badmash Ho Tum Thode Nadan Ho Tum" she hummed poking her index finger into his chest. He was pleasantly surprised at her choice of song.
"Thode Badmash Ho Tum Thode Nadan Ho Tum, Haan Magar Yeh Sach Hai Hamari Jaan Ho Tum", she placed her head on his chest and looked up at him.
"Meri Saanson Ki Jhankar Ho Tum Mera Solah Shringar Ho Tum,"she moved their entwined hands to her mangalsutra.
" Meri Aankhon Ka Intezar Ho Tum, Meri Emaan Meri Shaan Mera Maan Ho Tum" her eyes shown with tears as she sang this but one could easily see the immense pride and love she had for him in her eyes. Kunj raised his free hand to her eyes to wipe the one tear that managed to escape making Twinkle smile.
"Thoda Beimaaan Ho Tum Thode Saitaan Ho Tum"she laughed remembering their moments a while ago, "Thoda Beimaaan Ho Tum Thode Saitaan Ho Tum"
"Haan Magar Yeh Sach Hai Mere Bhagwaan Ho Tum" as she sang this looking into his eyes the entire world around them ceased to exist. They both closed their eyes wanting to capture this moment forever in their memories.
The next morning she woke up to find herself in her hubby's arms. He was drawing patterns on her arms while carelessly humming to the song that she sang exclusively for him "Thode.ummm Um U Mmm Ummm Nadan Ho Tum.Umm Umm Um U M Ummm Umm Haan Haaan Haaan"
She gave him a slight peck on his lips. She felt his tounge over her lips begging for an entrance. He pulled back only slightly to whisper, "Ready for round two?"
Twinkle flushed remembering how they stayed up till late in the night making sweet love. She hid her face in his chest, "Hmhmm Badmash."
