Hello to all. I read Jasmine and Sid both are pet lovers. So thought about writing an OS about their pet. Please don't blame me if it's not good. Just a simple and sudden thought. Happy Reading. 😊

OS: Their Little World

Kunj was thinking to surprise Twinkle with something she couldn't have imagined. He was thinking to present her something special. He remembered Twinkle was once telling him about her childhood pet dog Mia.' She was so excited while talking about Mia.' She shared how she used to clung to Mia's fur or kissed her nose. Mia used to sleep with her and waited for her everyday to come home at the end of school. Life was so perfect with Mia' around her. Then one day Mia' died leaving her alone. Twinkle cried a lot. She wished to get her back at the cost of everything she had. But Mia' never came back. She was on her way to eternity leaving Twinkle with the sweet memories.

After Mia's' death Twinkle never really had a pet. She loved them so much but somehow she was not ready to share the space in her heart which she has for Mia' with any other pet.

Kunj thought to surprise her with a pet dog. He knew she would never be ready to accept another one so easily so he thought something different. His friend Jeet' was one of the best dog breeders of Amritsar and Kunj told him to give him a Pomeranian pup. Jeet told him to visit his kennel club and choose that one which he finds more adorable.

The next day after college Kunj went to visit Jeet's kennel club and selected a cute little Pomeranian Pup for Twinkle. It was light brown in color and its white furs made it even cuter. He picked it up in his arms and bought a cute basket and pink bow for the little pup. He brought it home.

When he reached at the gate of his home he called Twinkle. Twinkle was arranging dinner and seeing the name of her hubby on the screen she picked up the call.

Kunj: Twinkle can you just come quickly to the garden. I have to discuss with you something urgent.

Twinkle: Kunj you are home right? What is it? Come inside and we can have a talk here.

Kunj: Twinkle I need to show you something. I can't come inside with the little thing I have right now with me.

Twinkle was curious and worried at the same time. Why was he in a hurry? What's the little thing... having every possible question in her mind she started to climb the staircases. She came to the garden and called his name Kunj'... Oh there you are.

So tell me what's the important thing which you can't discuss at home'- she asked.

Actually I have to show you something. Wait a minute, saying this he bought the little puppy out from the car.

Twinkle's mouth formed an O' shape. She was all surprised but before she could say anything Kunj started to explain, Twinkle see it's my friend Raj's Pup. Remember Raj my childhood friend. You know na he is doing MBA with me in the same college and today he had to leave for Delhi for a very urgent purpose. He is staying alone in his Amritsar's house as his family shifted to Delhi some days ago. Raj is getting married and he would be busy in Delhi in shopping for the next 7 days. He promised me he will come back within 7 days and take Brownie' from me. But for now we have to take care of it for 7 days if you don't have any problem. Oh btw meet Brownie'. He chuckled and handed the basket to her.

Twinkle: But Kunj you know after Mia' I haven't really thought of a pet... mumbled Twinkle by holding the basket.

Kunj: I thought as you are a pet lover so we can take care of it for 7 days. But if you really can't accept it then I will not force you. I am calling Raj right now. I will tell him to give it to anyone else he made a sad face and was about to call someone but Twinkle stopped him.

Twinkle: It's okay Kunj we will take care of the pup for 7 days. But we need to seek Bebe's and Maa's permission as well.

Kunj already talked to Bebe about this plan. He knew there would be no issue. When Twinkle asked for her permission she immediately said yes and Usha also agreed.

Twinkle brought Brownie' inside home saying welcome home Brownie.' She had a wide smile on her face. Brownie also showed her affection towards Twinkle and obeyed her. Twinkle was all excited. Seemed like Brownie' was enjoying her touch as well and started to nuzzle her in bed.

Kunj and she started to take Brownie' to have long morning walks in the park. Brownie's' bathe sessions became the most enjoyable part of their life. After applying shampoo on the little pup they had to face a hard time to rub and wash it off. Brownie' would do every possible thing to not to have a bathe but that made Kunj and Twinkle giggle.

At nights she would sneak into their bed and sleep between them. Twinkle and Brownie would together wait for the sound of Kunj's car.

The most memorable day was that one when Kunj and Twinkle took Brownie' to an ice cream parlor. They gave the cone to her and she was all happy.

Gradually, Brownie became an important part of their life and Twinkle couldn't even realize how the 7 days passed.

Kunj wanted to check whether Twinkle has started to like it or not and said her that Raj will be returning tomorrow and they have to return the pup.

Hearing that Twinkle's eyes got all teary. She nodded her head. That night she couldn't sleep properly and was thinking of the last seven days.

In morning she entered into their bed room with coffee for Kunj and saw him to get ready for college. Twinkle immediately went to him with teary eyes and said Kunj please don't let my pup away from me'. Kunj was surprised and she hugged him right then. She started sobbing. She said, there was a time when I decided I would not think of any other pet after Mia but I was wrong.' Love is not something which can be taken away. Of course I still love Mia but Brownie' is special as well.

Kunj patted her head and said, don't worry Twinkle. It's our pup. We are not letting it go anywhere.'

Twinkle was surprised and said , Our Pup? Did I hear it right? I mean it's your friend's pup and we were supposed to keep it for 7 days.'

Kunj then explained everything. His plan, how he selected Brownie and Bebe also gave him the permission to bring it home.

First Twinke was angry as Kunj hide the truth from her but then she saw Brownie' coming towards them with her little footsteps. She chuckled seeing her and took her in her arms. It was a blissful moment for her. Kunj and she decided to make a separate dog house for little Brownie.'

She placed a soft kiss on his forehead having Brownie' in their arms. Life can't be better than this... Twinkle thought in her mind.
