He gulped the water as fast as he could as he finished he saw her looking at him with dark eyes... her eyes were on his neck.. and he saw her gulp her saliva as her neck was dry... but he dint know the reason for drynes... so innocently he said..."tumhe bhi pyas lagi thi... sory vo mein pura pii gaya.."
"Huh.. hh nhi.. nhi.. its okay.. nhi lagi pyas.."she came back in reality... how would she tell him about what was her thirst...
He knew she was here means she wanted to talk.. and.. there was no way out for him.. but he had given her the right to take decision... so why did she need to talk... what she wanted he gave her.. and maybe.. what was to talk after she signed the paper...maybe.. she had even handed the papers to RT.. and was here on her way back...oh.. yes.. how did she find him... he dint tell any1... about his where abouts...
"Kunj..."
"Hhmm."..he said sitting on the bonnet of her car... he had stopped sweating but his shirt was still wet...
"I m really sorrie...me dil se maafi mang rahi hu... mene kal rat ko jo kuch bhi kaha... jo kuch bhi socha uske bare mein...uske liye.. M sorrie..."
"Koi baat nhi Twinkle... AB TOA ADAT PAD GAYI HAI..."
"Please Kunj...please... aise baat mat karo mujse.. nhi saha jata mujse..."she said with watery eyes...
"Mein toa bas vaise baat kar raha hu.. jaise... kal tum mujse kar rahi thi... fark sirf itna hai... ki.. tum ro rhi ho abhi n.. mein ro nhi raha tha..."he could not look at her crying face... so he looked away..somewhere far...
"Muje ehsaas hai apni galti ka Kunj.. islie.. toa subah se tumse maafi mangne ki koshish kar rahi hu... infact mene toa.. aaj.. tumhari.. pasand..."she stopped... while speaking as she dint want him to know.. what she did for him..
"Kya.. meri.. pasand ka.. "
"Kuch nhi.."
"Kunj aaj pura din pata nahi kaha kaha ghumte rahe... bataya bhi nahi kisiko..."
"Kisko fikar hai.. meri ki.. mein batau kisiko"
"Mujhe fikar hai.. damnit.. muje..biwi hu mein tumhari.."she spoke in anger... with teary red eyes...
He was shocked at her outburst.. and looked at her.. and it happened... just what he was afraid about... HIS HEART MELTED...
he just kept looking at her... his soul blamed him for making her hurt... but his mind asked his soul but what about when she hurt him yesterday... what about his feelings.. he never cries through eyes doesnt mean... his heart doesnt cries... only he knows how much pain it carries... inside him... and when the one person whom he feels... the closest in the world... whom .. he feels is only his..to call... hurts him.. the wounds go deep...but his heart won and he gave up...he was sad about the textile gone away forever from him but was happy that Twinkle would get a father...now.. maybe.. and the case would be closed for sure...
And his hand.. reached out to wipe a tear making its way down her cheek.. she closed his eyes... feeling his touch... he held her hand.. and.. pulled her over the bonnet as they both sat.. side by side.. with a palms distance.. between them... as she was about to sit.. she again jumped down like a little girl... and.. opend the passsnger seats door.. and pulled out the papers... and she held out her free hand to him.. asking him to pull her over...beside...him...
He was comfused as what file was in her hand... and before his mind could think.. she opened up...
And.. showed him...
"Ye sab kya hai Kunj.. tumne muje ye pehle kyu nahi bataya... iske bare.. mein...haan.."
"Twinkle ye papers.. toa.. mene tumko sign karne diye the..."he spoke as he saw the papers of the company named to Twinkle...but where were the deal papers...
"Kunj jab kal mein itna bol rahi thi... itna tum par chilla rahi thi tab tumne kyu nahi bataya iske bare mein...haan.. kal najane kitna kuch... bol diya inzaam lagaye tumpar... itni khudgarz ho gayi thi mein.. par tumne kuch nahi kaha muje... tum ye keh rahe the.. ki... tum ye deal nahi kar sakte.. par . Ye kyu nhi keh paa rahe the.. ki.. ye textile Maa ki thi... haan... ek baar bolte... Kunj.. kyu muje vo sab bolne diya.. jisko yad karke.. muje tumse zyda taklif ho rahi hai abhi...aurTumne ye company mere naam kar di thi... aur bataya bhi nahi..."
"Twinkle mein sahi vaqt ka intezar kar raha tha.. aur kal tum.. bhot shocked thi aur stress mein thi... isliye... "
"Par Kunj ek bar bata dete... tumne soch bhi kaise liya ki... mein Maa ki akhri nishani aise... saude mein include kar dungi...Kunj mein jazbaato ki kadar karna janti hu... aur tumhe kaise hurt kar sakti thi mein.. aise deal karke... Maa ko kaise hurt kar sakti thi..."
He liked the way Twinkle was adressing his mother as Maa... he smiled...
"Toa...kya ... tumne... vo deal k papers sign nahi kiye ...??"he asked in a low voice...
Now she was hurt...how could he think of so mean of her... dis he think so cruel of her... but a sarcastic voice mocked in her head...'Aur Twinkle tu konsa uske bare mein acha soch rahi thi kal... yad nhi kya kya.. bola tha usko... tune bhi toa uske bare mein itna galat socha... aur tune toa Mu pe bola... itna hurt kiya use... aur yaha ise toa genuine doubt ho raha hai...'
"Kunj tum mujko itna bura samajte ho?"
She asked innocently...
"Nahi Twinkle vo bas .. muje tab samj nhi aya.. kuch isliye" she felt for him.. the way he said it like a small child...
"Buddhu ho tum ek number k... Kunj"
"Budhu aur mein... tu hai buddhu... aur ek number ki bewakoof..."
"So toa Mr Kunj Sarna you think you are too smart"
"I dont THINK ,,I KNOW that I am smart..."he said winking her... she was so happy.. to see her old Kunj back... she would do anything to see his smirkkng face and she would drop like a teenage girl for his winks...
He saw her bright smile... and he felt his stress relievd...as a breeze flew in his face giving him coolness... it was the same breeze... he felt his mothers presence in it... which asked him to play cricket... and...here it was caressing his face and... blowing her hairs... it felt like his mother was blessing them.. he could see the dimple still on her cheek...and her eyes sparkling even in the dark...and he knew that he could do anything in this world to see that smile...
