Chapter 68
He just stared at her... and she still smiling looked ahead taking in the breeze... he was brought out of trance by the sound his phone ringing... coming from his car's window... he jumped down and walked towards his car...and picked up...it was bebe...
Twinkle just was lost as she saw the sky change its color to turn dark... but the darkness engulfed in her life had long vanished... and the setting sun took away the net of problems she was caught in...
He was talking on the phone with some1 she wasnt able to hear... as he walked ahead... maybe the reception was not clear as it was in the outskirts of the city...
"Ji bebe" as he walked ahead trying to hear clearly...
"Kaha hai tu puttar...subah se gayab hai... aur abhi 7.30 baj gaye aur tera koi pata nahi... aur mene ye batane phone kiya ki Twinkle bhi ghar par nahi hai.. uska phone nhi lag raha...'"
"Bebe Twinkle mere sath hai.."
"Acha changa hai.. sun jaldi aa ja raat k khane k liye ...teri biwi ne aaj jo khana banaya tha utna acha nahi hoga par... aa ja.. khane jaldi.."
"Kya.. bebe Twinkle khana... "
"Arey bhul gaya.. aaj toa vi dopahar ko ayi thi tuje khana dene office mein bhul bhi gaya... tu aur tera kaam... sab bhula dete hai tujko..."
As she cut the call...asking him to come home...
He cut the call and.. looked towards her... she was busy looking in the sky discovering few stars that had started to appear... finding each star delighted her face... as she had a winning smile...he sighed and felt guilty...she had prepared something for him... and he was so rude to her... dint even talk to her... she was in his office and he dint care... and here she inspite of being angry over him for being a jerk... she was ...
His heart felt a foreign emotion looking towards her... all happy... all innocent... he would make up to her... but how...!!!
Bebe purposely called... him... as a servant informed her about the tiffin... it was still full and untouched... she understood that Twinkle... wasnt able to reach him... maybe they had a fight and Twinkle was trying to make up... but it was between Miya biwi... she would not interrupt their privacy... but she needed to do something to knock some sense in her hard headed... grandson... to make him feel lucky... that what gem of a girl he has got... who to cover his rudeness and mistake... lied to bebe.. and herself dint have any lunch...
Kunj was thinking as he called bebe...
And talked to her... he got the info what he wanted to know...
then he called his driver and asked him to fetch his car... he was going to ask his wife for a lift...
He walked upto her... "Twinkle late ho rha hai.. ghar par sab intezaar kar rahe hai... hume chalna chahiye..."
"Kunj kitna acha mausam hai thodi der rukte hai na..."
"Twinkle yaar... muje bhot bhukh lagi hai.. aur bebe ne bataya ki ghar par khana tayar hai... chalo...plz..."
And she remembered how for 2 3 hrs continously she was in the kitchen preparing dishes for him... and he dint care.. she felt sad... as she dint get a chance.. to make him eat... but she was satisfied that... atleast they were on good terms now... the whole motive of convincing him..for...and apologising... was fulfilled... and she thought fir kabhi khilaungi... and a sad smile adored her face...
He read the emotions on her face and smacked himself in the mind...''''look how sad she is.. all bcoz of you...you idiot'''' ..
"Thik hai.."
As he tried to reach out for the passenger door of her car...
"Kunj kaha ja rahe ho... tumhari car toa vaha hai..."
"Ha toa.."
"Toa ise kon ghar laye ga.."
"Vo mein driver ko bol dunga.."
"Kunj tumhe mere sath ane ki zarurat nahi hai.. tum car leke aa jao.. k... mein tumhare piche piche hi chalake aa jaungi..."
"Tumhe shayad zarurat nahi hai... but muje toa apni wife k sath time spend karna hai.."
He heart fluttered... at his words.. and a blushy smile caught her lips as.. she opened the door hurriedly to hide it and got in the car...
He too got inside smiling to himself...
The way back home was a calm and peaceful ride... there was no hurry... Twinkle droveWith her one hand on the wheel and... one placed on her window...her hair were flowing she looked like and angel..
She caught him staring at her.. and inspite of the butterflies..she managed to ask..
"Kya.. hau?..aise kyu dekh rahe ho"
"Huh...vo.. umm.. Kuch..nhi... nhi vo bas... tumahar hath aise khidki pe rakha hai na..isliye.. aise nhi rakhna chahiye.."he managed to cover up..
"Oh.."and she withdrew her hand...and.. drove home...
As they were walking through the hall..."Twinkle tum upar jao ill have some milk or coffee.."
As she started walking towards the kitchen..
"Kunj tum fresh ho jao na.. mein.. sidha khana hi laga deti hu.. and dudh bhi garam kar dungi.."
'Ye ladki na... sunna hi nhi kuch.. apni man mani karni hai... Pati ki itni fikar kabse hone lagi..'
"Twinkle yar.. its okay na... tum upar jao.. mein sach mein.. khud kar lunga fir... ata hu na upar.. tum.. fresh ho jao.. n muje khud karna hai toa karne do na.."
Twinkle crunched her eyebrows in confusion...as he literally pushed her over her shoulders to... walk up the stairs...and she walked up confused...
'Ise kya ho gaya hai..babaji..'
He hurriedly walked in kitchen and opened the fridge to start his work...
She was sitting in their room.. doing time pass.. over her phone...Her trance was broken... as he entered... with a tray... with three bowls... covered... and a plate... the aroma spread in the room and.. before she could guess what was under ...he...placed the tray on table... brought the table near the couch where she was sitting... himself sat beside her...and uncovered the plate...
She watched.. the three dishes as..as hot steam escaped...it was karele...ki sabji... Pulav... and gajar halva... which she prepared in the morning... how did he find out... did he know that she had prepared...
Kunj saw the look of surprise on her face... and he wanted to make her eat with him... he was afraid though...'agar use pata chal gaya ki muje pata hai.. ye isne banaya hai mere liye ...tao ise lagega ki me taras khaa ke kha raha hu...toa isko ungli tedi karke khilana padega...'
Before she could speak... he said...
"Dekh na Twinkle ye sab fridge mein rakha tha... kitna sara hai... lagta hai.. kisi bewakoof ne khaya hi nahi... mein dudh dhund raha tha aur ye mil gaya... ek toa itni bhukh lagi.hai... toa bas sab garam karke le ayya... fir laga ki... tuje bhi bhukh lagi hogi... toa upar le aya..."
And without looking at her.. he dipped the spoon in the pulav and.. started... eating...
"..sexy bana hai.. Pulav... " hr said chewing he watched his words.. as it was his way of expresing things in excitement it was a trend when he was in college...
"Tu bhi kha na kya dekh rahi hai.."he forwared one spoon placed in the plate..
She was hesitant...and he had gulped down a spoonful 3 times...
"Agar khayegi nahi.. tao ye sara mein hi khatam kar dunga..."
And he pushed the spoon into her mouth...and made her eat...
"Acha bana hai.. na "he asked..Excitingly...
She watched him... he was eating like a child.. fed candy... she dint know she would feel so warm... seeing him eat food prepared by her... she speacially made it for him.. and he unknowingly was... enjoying every bite of it... she felt her heart swell... and a sudden urge to hug him.. took..over..
And she did.. place her head .. over his shoulder..
"Kya hua twinkle...?..tabiyat thik hai na tumhari?"he asked concerned... touching her forehead..
"Kuch nhi kunj.. vo bas thak gayi thi isliye.."she spoke still... her head on his shoulder...
And he made... her eat another bite.. and they ate the entire pulav... the bowl was empty...
The karela dish... was finished entirely by him...as she dint like karela... and he placed the bowl in his lap.. and.. it was stark clean.. as he ate all of it.. she was surprised at him eating it without any roti or bread...and now last but not the least.. his most awaited gajar ka halva...
Twinkle saw him.. eat the karela sabji... she was so happy.. as what she did for him in the morning... was now turning in... maybe.late... but it was worth it... or even better... in the morning he was upset and angry... maybe he would not have eaten or not praised her dishes so much... as he was praising now unknowingly...
She saw him... put four five spoons of gajar ka halva in a plate...and.. took the full bowl in his lap...
"Ye tumhara hai... tum isme se khao.."her mouth formed an O...
"Kunj pura tum kha jaoge...mujr bhi do na thoda...aur.."
"Nahi ye pura mera hai...pata nahi kitne time bad kha raha hu...aur vapas kab milega.."
And they were interrupted by someone on the door... it was cherry and anand...
They were looking like they were gonna attack some1... they stood ther on the door like soldiers... Twinkle... looked comfused...as she saw... Kunj make his hold on the bowl tighter... she dint understand what was happening...then her eyes fell on something in both their hands... they were holding it like a weapon... it was
SPOON...
"Captain Cherry... hume udti udti khabar mili hai ki... is ilaake mein.. dushman... ne gajar ka halva chupa k rakha hai..."Anand uttered as a military man...
"Ha.. commander.. Anand... garam garam gajar k halve ki khusboo pure ghar mein... fail chuki hai... aur... sabse zyda khusboo isi kamre se aa rhi hai... ho na.. ho... gajar ka halva... yahi kahi chhupa hoga..."Cherry stated...as he eyed.. the gajar.. halva.. in Kunjs hand...
And they started walking... forwards..slowly cautiously... Kunj got up on the couch.. he was standing on the couch... and Twinkle looked... at him... high.. as she was sitting now beside his feet... as he jumped behind the couch with the bowl in his hands...and cherry with an evil smirk on his face.. followed by anand...
"Ye... Halva muje de de... CHOTU..."
A thing to notice...😊
Its just a small thing... but just wanted to share as it makes me feel good...
In last weeks I saw scenes in the show like described in my FF...
Not exactly same but partly
The scene where Kunj and Twinkle leave the house in car... he stops abruptly and.. moves near her she thinks hes going to kiss her... but ties her seatbelt...
And then he prepares noodles... and while cutting vegetables cuts his finger... and she puts it in her mouth... scolds him.. that he is no superhero...in the FF she scolds him... that he is no superman...
Yes these are pretty common scenes in daily soaps but just that... it feels good...😆
