Before he could react the lady started screaming and ran towards her husband
"Jaanu acha hua tum aa gye varna pata nahi ye mere sath kya karta"
"Dekhiye aap ko jaisa dikh raha hai vaisa kuch bhi nahi hai... galat femi hai.."Kunj fumbled
"Tumne meri biwi par nazar dali tumhe toa me chodunga nahi..". and he tried to drive Kunj out of the room... the manager was called and a few staff arrived...
"Dekhiye me galti se is room me ghus gaya tha... ye 'do not disturb' ka tag dekh k andar gaya..tha mein"
"Do not disturb jis door pe laga ho... uske andar kaun jata hai" manager asked amusingly...
"Are par mera kamra hai toa me jaunga na"kunj objected...
"Aapka kamra hai toa aap Do Not Disturb lagake aap apne room k bahar kya kar rahe the.." the husband spoke... angrily...
"Dekhiye manager saab aap police ko bulaiiye.."
"Arey police ko bulane ki kya zarurat hai..."
Twinkle hearing the commotion outside her room came out to see the corridoor crowded...
After hearing the conversation she understood that Kunj was targeted...
"Dekhiye manager saab meri biwi bhi aa gyi... Twinkle batao ki me tumhara pati hu aur me thodi der k liye bahar gaya tha... aur ye humara room hai.."Twinkle wanted to have some fun...
"Pati kaisa pati... kon pati... aap logo ne itna shor kyu macha rakha hai.."
Manager apologised to Twinkle and Kunj again warned her not to play this game with him... but she gave an evil smirk to him...
Manager asked every1 to come near the reception... and before Kunj realised Police arrived ... who called them he dint see any1 calling the police...
Twinkle got tensed as Kunj was not back... she thought that he would convince the people and be back in the room in few minutes she headed towards the reception to search for Kunj...
"Inspector saab is aadmi ne meri biwi k sath zabardasti karne ki koshish ki"...
Inspector asked the lady and she fumbled but matched her husbands words Kunj looked towards her in disgust and she looked down in guilt...but dint speak the truth... "arrest kar lijiye ise.."
"Dekhiye inspector saab bhot badi galat femi ho gyi hai.. and Kunj explained the whole matter"
"Dekhiye bhaisaab ye koi picture ki shooting nahi chal rahi ki aap hume aisi kahaniya sunayenge aur hum man lenge.. aur muje lagta hai ki mene aapko kahi par dekha hai "
Just then the constable whispered something in the inspectors ears...
"Haaan... aap toa vahi ho na jisne ek do week pehle ek ladki ka fayda uthane ki koshish ki thi... kaaafi dino tak charcha me rahe the... vaise tab koi action nhi liya gaya tha... ab toa pura action lenge hum...news me kafi famous ho gye the aap... toa aap se aisi hi umeed ki ja sakti hai..." and the entire staff was staring at Kunj with accusing eyes remembering him from the news...
Kunj dint imagine that such a petty issue would lead to this... his anger rose.. and he looked the inspector in the eye..."Inspector saab aap midea ki baato ki buniyad pe mujpe inzaam nahi laga sakte..."
Inspector asked him to shut up and held Kunjs wrist ... Kunj shoved his hand from his grip and warned the inspector..
"Aap jante bhi hai ki me kon hu... "
Twinkle reached there in time just as the inspectors arrived and she could not blame herself more for what the scene converted into... she thought that it was a small issue and a little leg pulling would do no harm... she never imagined that police would be called... and when she saw Kunj was angry and upset she knew that she was in trouble ...
"Inspector saab.. rukiye.."
"Ye mere pati hai.. I m sorry.. manager saab vo tab mere aur inke bich zagda chal raha tha isliye mene inko pehchanne se mana kar diya tha... muje nahi pata tha ki aap police bula loge ."
"Ye sab kya ho raha hai manager"the inspector asked..
"Dekhiye mam me janti hu ki aap jhuth bol rhi hai.. mere pati aise nahi kar sakte... vo galti se aapke kamre me aa gye honge.."
After a lot of convincing the lady spoke the entire truth and accepted that she was the one to change the Do Not Disturb sign...
And everbody disperesed... ofcourse after a little levture from the Inspector.. for making a false call...
Kunj entered the room with twinkle anger evident on his face...
Twinkle thought of keeping quiet...
He ordered some coffee from the manager and the manager was more than obliged to do so as an apology for mis treating him...he dialed a number and kept the phone on speaker...and moved towards the window staring at the sky sipping coffee...
It was his habit to always talk on speaker mode... as he was habituated to do something else while talking with the person...
The rings finished no one picked up...
Twinkle asked him who he was calling so late... but she only got a cold look in return...she decided to keep mum...
At the second time... the receiver answere...
"Damnit akash...Itna time kyu laga phone uthane me"
"Sir raat k 1 baj rahe hai so raha tha...isliye.."
Kunj stared at the fancy wall clock in the room and again looked outside the window...Twinkle got confused why was Kunj calling akash so late...
"Akash do teen hafto pehle jo meri media me news ayi thi vo kon kon si channels pe ayi thi aur un mese konsi channels ki Sarnas se tie ups hai...?"
"Sir konsi news... "
"Akash tum apne bed se utho... thande pani se nha k aao fir baat karo mujse"
Akash quickly got straighten up... Twinkle giggled in her mind at Kunjs commnt...
"Sorry sir... ,,sir kya ap us news ki baat kar ahe hai.. jisme aap pe..."akash could not complete the sentence as he knew Kunj dint like to talk about it...
"Ha usi ki baat kar raha hu"...
"Sir usme toa kuch local news channels hai.. koi badi channel nahi hai... aur us vaqt press conference bhi Mr Manohar Sarna ne hi bulayi thi... aur statements bhi unhi ne diye the"
"Vo sab pata hai muje akash... I want you to break their contracts with the Sarna condtruction on the breach of malignimg my name..."
"Lekin sir jab aaphi ke bade papa ne bulaya tha toa aise"
"Jitna bola hai utna karo...Akash.."
Twinkle thought this was getting serious..
"Sir I want you to consider this again... "
"Abhi is contract breach ka approximate kitna amount milega..?"
"Kuch 8 10 crores..,, but sir long run me humari company ko hi loss hoga... aur fir future me vo channels humse tie up karna consider nahi karegi..."
"Tum ye sab abhi karo...Mehra ko call karke... papers ready karo"
"But sir itna amount ka karenge kya "..
Kunj looked back.. im the room and thought for a while... twinkles eyes were on him...he took a sip..
"Un paiso se kisi promising co.panies me shares kharidke.. Ishaan aur Juhi k naam kar do..."
