Round: Grand Intro of Judges

Judge: Gauthami

Gauthami is a famous actress. She is pretty and has a unique style. Once again the couples are lucky to dance in front of two big actresses.

1) DD and Satish -> Western/Duet

- good choreo, nice songs

- DD is improving every week, Satish can improve his expressions

2) Prem and Premini -> Duet

- this is a must watch dance

- amazing song they danced too

- Premini is amazing, she was graceful and it was so cute to watch, her expressions were adorable

3) Priya and Arun -> Duet

- I loved the way Priya looked today, her soft movements were really good

- I feel that Priya is covering her partner and the chemistry is lacking between the jodi. Priya needs a taller bigger partner since Arun looks small with her

4) Suresh and Jeyaluxmi -> Western

- they need to work together to bring out technical aspects in the dance

- this jodi needs to work a bit harder

5) Geethan and Divya

- a nice dance, they are improving together

- Divya has a different style in her

- The beginning with the shadow was good

I noticed today that the judges gave negative comments to everyone. I felt that the judges were being a little too harsh on them. All the jodis look scared now. Everyone is really determined to give their best now after hearing negative comments on the first day.

Arun and Priya :- Was a good performance.. Nothing extraordinary to go wow about but it was energetic and it had a few cute bits here and there.. The song choices and costumes were good too? But in many places, Priya kinda overshadowed Arun.. Guess Arun still needs to work up his confidence bit a lil more.. But it was nice, overall?

Prem-premni :- Again, it was something a lil different. They're the only couple that had a change of costume(prem) and the one remarkable thing about this couple is they always try to tell some kinda story in their performance and for that, they deserve an applaud. The dance was as usual, good?Loved that small bit of Deepak dancing?Overall it was very cute to watch them?.

Geethan and Divya :- Their performance was definitely nice to watch, but compared to the previous performances, it was mediocre.. But guess they are not to be blamed coz they did dance almost flawlessly and for that, kudos to them?.The song choices was nice though..

Wong and Sunita :- Yet another entertaining, superb performance? Liked the way Wong moves, shows his flexibility and ease in dancing.. Sunita complimented him well as well? Was really nice watching them?her tamil speaking was good joke...

On the whole, it was a really good start. The jodi's seem to prove that this is gonna be a really really tough competition?.The dance standard is really high this season, probably the highest compared to all its predecessors.. Definitely a fun season to watch....

MY god ... steffie will be very happy 😛

Thanks Smiles for the wonderful updates.

I loved Radhika as a judge. Thought she herself admitted that she does not have any formal dance learning. As a person, I think, she is a very fair and straight forward person. Gouthami is great too.

The entertainment quotient is going to misss big time in this season. It is going to be all dance, dance and dance. I am already missing SivaKarthigeyan comedy and DD/Deepak mockka comments. Hope hey do something to make this show "humorous" too.

Hope they get a great person for the third judge too.

Radhika - first i thought y she.. but now i think - y others.. She really gives a great judgement..

If there is third judge, i hope it is some choreographer who knew all the technical difficulties to the nook and corner.. Though Radhika and Gautami are really doing a good job in judgiing, its just the view which i am also able see in the dance.. i want someone who can see beyond this...

Round: Mix and Match (Group Round)

It includes the gallery and promo for this week of jodi no 1

By looking at it there are two judges only. The individuals are now dancing in groups of three/four. They are also performing multiple dances together.

It looks amazing!! They are getting so much publicity and everyone looks great in the stills. All their costumes shine on stage and the dances look good so far. I like this idea since its nice to see the jodis dancing together and it gives you a feeling of who is better when compared to the other person in your group. By dancing in groups it gives more determination to be the best in that group.

I never saw Satish in any of the stills or the promo. Is he still participating?
