Sunder did the crime but Jethalal was shown as a vilian selling the ornaments. Daya is also stupid she cares about her mother's given ornaments than her husband's respect. She already lied to Jethalal why shouldn't she accept this as her punishment..(selling of her ornaments).

Worst why a good person shown as a bad person...This is it..Writers have gone tooo far and this is equivalent to corrupt politicians. I have tolerated Jetha-babita non-sense and Sunder non-sense but why Jetha shown as bad person...I can smell the decline of this serial. I quit TMKOC.

I feel R K Lakshman ki duniya by Hats Off Production is still OK.

Haven't watched today's episode yet but totally agree. High time Sunder is shown the reality. Cannot live your life by cheating people. This is not funny anymore.

btw, Sunder just wanted to save jwelleries, as other jwellers could sell those, and with full honestly Sunder returned full 6 lacs this time...
So no one was villain and no one was HERO... So this time Sunder didn't cheated anyone I think... dont you think???

And Jetha was not shown as villain, its your misleading, Jethalal was shown to be self respected man... and that was a natural behaviour...

I see it this way...that if I was in Sundar's position I would never keep the jewellery with Jethalal without his direct permission. I would loan it to a safe and reputed jeweller and respect the deadline. Deadlines are deadlines and people can loose job and life if they don't respect deadlines let alone some gold. The reason why Sundar was very afraid of keeping the jewellery with someone else is because he did not have any confidence in himself that he will repay the money on time. Sundar's friend may say that he did not want to take any risk...I would say come-on, even crossing a road there is a risk of accident, a zero risk is not possible.

Moral of the story is that despite Sundar kept the ornaments with Jethallal, if Sundar did not come on time then those ornaments still would have got sold...and the reason is simple...despite how much Sundar loves his sister and his sister's ornaments, if he chooses an illegal and morally incorrect means of achieving a goal he will always loose and majority of the society would call him a culprit.

Sundar's feelings were okay but means was wrong. No matter how emotionally good (sister-brother love here) a goal is, if the means to achieve it/maintain it is morally and legally wrong, then the glitter of the goal goes away.

Yeah.. thats the proper way, but if they folowed this way, how can this show be made comedy...
And Jetha is a character that is only made to fall in troublesas always said by Tarak... and Sunder is the one to do so, but this time I think everything gone without any loss, as, always is faced by Jetha...

... Might be Some day they will change it to miracle by making a story with everything going in Jetha's favor...

And for your last line... I might remind you that, it is said by Ancestors that If goal is good, then no matter which path you chose...
Just like Chankya adopted the path of CHAL/ cheat to get a good goal of Akhand Bharat, and chandragupta to be the king...

You got it half right. Tricks should only be used against people who are evil or who won't follow any rules. For example Chanakya played tricks against lazy rulers and then on Napoleon. Shri Krishna played tactics with Bhishmapita to get rid of him only because the latter was on wrong side.

But here with Jethalal there is no pre-condition. He had done nothing wrong (in fact he is workable with proper rules)..and he was made an unintended prey, which is morally wrong.

Chanakya and Shri Krishna used tricks only against wrong people or people who were supporting wrong things, but trapping a person who has nothing to do with the doers desire is wrong.

But getting rid of evil peoples is itself a good cause, and that thought is about if goal/cause is good, then no matters the path, and here saving jwellery seemed good cause for Sunder...

So Chankya and krishna did it for a good cause, and so did Sunder... I am not saying that path sunder chose was right, but it was good cause, and to all that, The End was also good, so "Ant Bhala to Sab Bhala"

It was not quite clear what you meant in the first para. PS. I would use upper case for Krishna.

Choosing any path for a "good" cause is a dangerous and certainly a wrong message. Chanakya and Krishna used tricks ONLY with people who did not follow any rules or who indirectly supported immoral forces. They never sabotaged an unrelated person who was unrelated to the path of their good cause. In fact they always included the people who could follow the rules.

Here, Sunder intentionally sabotaged Jethalal despite the latter being a rule-follower. I don't think I can compromise my stand and categorically believe that Sundar did a wrong thing. Legally, in real life he can easily be jailed.

(Example: What if a hungry man kills a woman and eats her!...Goal can never justify the means...the difference here is that the woman gets killed...and in the serial it was Jethalal's faith and respect got killed).

(Likewise: another example, ancients fights were always closed after the sunset no matter how cruel the bad guys were. If goal justifies the means, then Pandavs in Mahabharat could have easily killed the Kauravs during night...but Pandavs didn't do that (or vice-verse) because rules are rules and they must be obeyed).

A good discussion here. And the problem is, the story is that jetha always becomes a fool, loser and wrong person at last in any concept. Where daya, sundar, champaklal and even tapu become intelligent, winner. This is happening in every concept. View the gpl, voot kahani, chor ko pakadna, pakistan safari.
