@Nyna, Nimmi and Lucky dear : Thanks my lovely friends for helping me out of the dilemma.. It really helped when it comes to my decision.. While I have the start and an idea till half way through.. I guess I can't decide on how I want to resolve and end it.. So unless I decide on that I am not going to work it out for now..

I know how we actually change lot of things then the first time.. All my works had been changed very much from the original draft.. None more than Cinderella... So I understand.. Once I started things will change..

So far now I decided to wait on that one.. As I got my hands busy with the current one..

When I go back and check a mail which I have sent to Aish outlining Fanaa it was 8 chapters .. included Laksh and jealousy angle too which I scarped off in middle of chapters ..The first scene I typed was a scene between Swara and Sanskaar and thought of it to be prologue but scarped that too .I still have draft. I read and have a good laugh over it😆. So you never know😉

Oh I agree, the initial draft is nothing like how the final updates are, sometimes I wonder if both were written by the same me🤣

Some stories I have scraped, I even wrote a requiem for one (I loved that one quite a bit, but had to let it go😭) few are in cold storage, because the idea is exhausting (eg. one is about parallel worlds, Earth and its galactic twin - do not laugh, I do have very weird ideas😆)

And the biggest is in FM - my initial notes had Swara as the assassin, trained to annihilate the Maheshwaris and Gadodias, but then I could not simply write much, that line did not set in with the ending I wanted.😕

Another thing is how the other characters shape up, while you are writing, I think they develop a life and mind of their own and you write them out very differently from what you initially visualise, case in point, Adarsh and Parineeta in FM - they did not have so much in the initial draft😊

But then the process is fun, worth every agonising minute we spend, if the story ever sees the light of day. If it does not, well, the notes can always be used to build another tale.😊

No doubt i am smitten by your each and every story of swasan. Your new and i am all in... I really thought that i would read it on watsapp but no i have to read here only. May magic of IF... this given me best or amazing ff of swasan so i can't go away from this one.

Well i really would love to see further how this story will go. Starting is amazing and like always i love how swara or either sanskar able to grab their attention in your series.

Well characters and background of story is very intriguing...it's going to be battle of ego..desire etc...I'm sure this will be block buster too...my swasan...ahhh..I'm waiting for this college love hate story eagerly...pretty excited...

I did not want to delay any longer - so the chapter - great job setting out the introductions, smooth flow from one character to another and no where did you break the reader's attention.👏👏

Sharmishta and Shekar - the was a wistful regret filled life of theirs - not that they regretted their decision of a night together, but they the fact that they spent a life time apart. And Shekar, for the time being at least appears to be a nice person, quite under his mother's thumb but still nice. A brief glimpse into Ragini also gives nice vibes.

Swara, musically inclined but interested in MBA, which is what Sanskaar is pursuing - and baby Laksh (he is nice too😆). So are we going to have a similar triangle, but knowing you, even if it did it would be with a twist. So Laksh is already a fan of Swara and Sanskaar is quite intrigued - so much so that it leads to the challenge so tantalisingly set out in the introduction. BTW - Ragini and Swara are almost of the same age, so how come Ragini is not in this colleges, or is it that academically she becomes a year younger?

And we also have Sahil (how I love the way he is such a callous, beastly egoistic guy) and since there is Sidharth Roy, does it mean Kavita Roy's entry too?

For an introduction, you have give rise to more questions than facts, but it made for one great read. Loved reading it and hence had to let you know immediately.

Now back to another read😊

Looks like another great story in making! Loved the chapter a lot. Swara saving Laksh, oh you did it in such an amazing way! By the way I'm tensed for Swara. She'll have to face a lot once ParvatI and Ragini get to know her real identity.
