Tejasswi is positive that it won't take more than six months for the audience to fall in love with the show and her character Diya.

"The show has created a lot of buzz and though people have written wrong things, they have noticed the show. Six months down the line people will know me as Diya and not as Ragini, she says.

Earlier, shows such as Balika Vadhu have addressed the issue of child marriage in India. However, with her new show, Tejasswi assures that they are not promoting the social evil in any way.

It's just that the story is way more than that and it's not focussing on how we are a happily married couple and that every 18-year-old should fall for a 10-year-old kid in school. We are not encouraging that at all. The show is about the maturity that a girl at that age shows to protect a boy.
