Okay the future series is quite similar to the Serial canon, though Swara wanting to take revenge was the twist. Ragini the same, just wants what she wants, the rest can go to hell. Laksh impulsive as usual, Sanskaar guilty as usual (though to be truthful, I did find him wanting to hurt Swara because she lied a little too much) and Swara determined to hurt them all, this was also a little difficult to accept, in a nice way.

But then as you so aptly put it, revenge is a double edged sword, and in the end, of this update we find that both Swara and Sanskaar ruined themselves in the pursuit of revenge. But then even when she offers Sanskaar a chance at redemption, she does not appear to be truly sorry for what she did, she is just tired of punishing him and wants to take his help in setting her life right. I somehow feel that she would continue to hold herself back and that is what prompts him to travel back.

Your tale and your hint for my previous comment reminds me of a O'Henry tale - The Roads of Destiny. Lovely story, do read if you get a chance but for now I will only leave a quote from that story:

"I go to seek on many roads,

What is to be.

True heart and strong, with love to light

Will they not bear me in the fight

To order, shun or wield or mould

My destiny?"

It does not matter which road they chose, Swara and Sanskaar would end up together.

Sanskar doesn't took revenge for lying.. He thought Swara went to date with laksh inspite of knowing what he felt about him.. Sanskar barred his soul to Swara as an friend.. He had never kept anything from her.. And she would have known how much he hates laksh.. So inspite of all that not only did she agree to date laksh, she fell in love with him.. He thought that was an betrayal.. His best friends falling in love with his enemy.. Not just that he doubted his friendship as well... In all this events he didn't know Swara was totally unaware laksh was sanskar cousin..

That is what I sort of meant, he was angry with her because he thought she lied to him, which he considered as a betrayal. But how did Swara miss the connection between Laksh and Sanskaar, okay that was in the present, in the altered past she knew.

She regrets trying her hand on revenge because she wasn't comfortable or happy to deal with the guilt.. Sometimes you let something go for the good of your happiness.. And that why she stopped.. That doesn't mean she forgave ragini yet..

Okay, but guess that is why she gave Sanskaar an out, she knew the guilt that accompanies a revenge course. And she has not forgiven Ragini, that is good to know.

The quote was lovely.. Will check the story out soon but before that I have one lovely tale I need to catch up on.. Of course yours.. I have been postponing to read because I want to treasure the updates and don't want to rush in t it. Hope you will understand.. Will try to be more active..

That story is nice too, though I do love most of O'Henry tales. And regarding FM, take your time, I am almost done with the last part of Chapter 9 so one more to go for Book 1 to be finished😳 Hoping to see you around more.
