Hi Ria ,

Yes, while they have very deep hauntingly beautiful sorrow, there is very less satisfaction. I have nothing against tragedy in fact I'd like a good cry once in a while...but I absolutely refuse tragedy without logic. And tragic endings to something that could have been more beautifully wrapped up.

While Orpheus's story narrates how he made a mistake and paid for it by losing his love till death unites them again...which is all fine, but I cannot help but think wouldn't it be more beautiful if his resolve to bring her back from death had won after all.

So yes we are in for a good ending. I can't promise an entire giddy one, but I hope to make it satisfying and yes, happy too.

It is the same as I believe I see. yes, the very selfish and the utterly selfless has very little difference. in fact one person can have these two kinds of emotions within them at the same time too.

Lastly I hope you would enjoy my take as I did in replying to this insightful comment. It was a joy conversing with you dear.

Tale of Orpheus and Eurydice is one that fascinated me since I was 10.I'm 27 now, and recent came to read again like yesterday! I'm very curious how you incorporate Swasan in this tale... looking forward how it turns out.

I'm not going to incorporate Swasan into that tale but incorporate that tale into SwaSan, it is going to be a modern story with some hints at parallels with the myth.

Like on the theme right?they falls in love, cruel destiny snatches one away... then the other fight with circumstances and adversities.. They start their journey again but stops at the right destination.
