I don't want this forum to get closed, but I am not in a mood to put up trouble with quotes thing. I am sure Nynu, Like Veena, said FM might pull in reader back to IF , but Glad you decided to keep it to the forum at least for time being let to stay there. It's your magnum opus,, it deserves much attention but hurrying it on WP now ..not a good idea. FM needs a grand entry😉

You know, Lucky, till I started posting in WP I never realised how irritating those double quotation marks are, despite checking twice or thrice, I always find a few missing. 😡😡So I absolutely get it when you cannot tolerate it here.

Can you really take a break from writing? I tried, believe me, it was horrible, so many ideas and your fingers itch, and after a point, guilt sets it, especially since I had FM to complete and a couple of other tales in my head (I have the chapter titles set for one, and around 3000 words for the other). But I cannot do so many at one time, so it is going to be after FM.

I owe my IF readers-FM is dedicated to each one of them, there is no way I could write what I did and continue to write. You girls are my Beta readers and the wind beneath my (at times, tired flagging) wings

I am still trying to understand WP and see how it works before I put FM there, for the structures are different. So FM is here.

And I love you for bold.😳😳

BTW, what about your existing stories, do you think you should let them remain in IF, they are locked, so there really is no control on those posts. I put in two pm requests for unlocking my tales but no response. Even Sharon wanted her posts unlocked, I was thinking of making a new thread - Unlocking Requests😆😆

Kids keeping me busy...after they are put to bed trying to find some time for me to read ..mainly from WP...all genres...now glued to horror..

Veena, I feel guilty for making my lovely readers wait, you are patient but I really seem to be testing your limits.🤗

WP - I am still feeling my way around, and so I will not be sharing this story with them. As I was telling Lucky, this story is yours too, as much as it is mine and you girls have been with me even after the show is over and I am irregular with my updates. So FM will be posted here, completely. I might post it on WP later, not now. Any your appreciation makes up for the lack of numbers 🤗

Yes, that is the only time we get, but then it leaves me so tired especially if I have a hectic office schedule. I still have a few books (hard copies to read) which are still pending - I do not want to start for I know I cannot stop till I finish (Oathbringer is at around 1200 words and it keeps singing a siren song- ajaa re aa zara, bahon mein le zara...)

Horror - somehow, never took a liking to that genre, I am more of the fantasy type😉

I have posted all the stories on WP...I don't have any pending ones here.So Locking should not be a problem. I so agree with you on idea bugging and not letting stay in peace..but typing and taking out time is becoming tough. above that this updates schedules are putting a strain ..and I am feeling restless to close.

I am not able to spare time to read many books I have stocked up.I want to learn some new techniques of PS and I am bored and not happy with my writing. I feel I am stuck and lost the mozo...

I just need a break

I have been missing you too. I am good, and am working on FM - Chapte 1 is turning out to be the most boring one I have written- there are new characters, new clues that come out and I have to see that it flows into the next few chapters which have to fast paced as I am running out of time (both to write and for the story - it has to be over in October 2017😆) I will post it in a couple of days - I have the final draft, and now reading it to see that it makes sense - to the extent possible.

Let's see.

You need a break, that I agree - and if it is for reading, it is even more important. Why do you think book 2 is so late - during the break I went on a reading spree - 10 volumes of the Malazan Empire and a host of historical romances - in one month. My eyes gave up on me, reading them on the laptop (I have decided not to buy books which I cannot re read - waste of money and more importantly, space).

So take a break, enjoy reading and not having the stress of having to update, reply etc. I too plan to do something similar, currently focus only on FM, finish it off and then I will reschedule my reading and writing.

PS - I still dabble in it, and slowly want to see if I can actually make art out of it.Planning to buy one of those pressure pens, will let you know how it works out.

Whatever you do, just stay in touch.
