Dear Nalini,

I am finally back for Chapter 3 -Hours of Twilight - and the interplay of the Swara's heart and mind, aided and abetted by Ragini and Sanskaar.
Welcome back again. Yep that's it. A play between the dark and the light. I consider they are the hours of deep thought. ๐
First Ragini - who in a very subtle yet firm way attempts to sway Swara from the one image that had so firmly taken root in her mind. And what she said to Swara - that not listening to the other person would not make her point stronger. And slips in the option of filing for a divorce, which somehow shocks Swara into acknowledging that the answers she so badly needs are with the man who is now the most haunting question for her.
The first to make the other person acknowledge what he /she wants to do is to toss a coin. Isn't it? That's what Ragini did. Pushed it the other way to have swara give in. She is smart and very firmly determined to set things right for swara and Sanskaar. For their sake and hers too. Once the bond she broke through deceit she aimed to reinforce this time again with deceit. Even she is playing between light and dark. ๐And thankfully swara did concede.
Then Sharmishta, who now understands that nothing in life is completely light or absolutely dark, even truth is forever shrouded in the mists of darkness thoughed clothed in light. And so Sanskaar decides that Swara might know of her love for him but she still as to go towards recognising that.
Sharmistha is blend of many things for me, I believe that a for a person who makes a strong stand like her in life should have had something much deeper to her, added through the tidings one endures in the course of life. as a child and young adult she always believed in the goodness and selflessness and through hardships only learned that they are just two shades of many other shades. And all those who carry them don't necessarily stand up for them. But she didn't give up. She taught the Same more to her daughter. That we are a blur of things. And it's important to judge only after looking at the person in whole.
Sanskaar is caught in grief but he tries to fight that grief by walking forward from the darkness that's taking upon him, into the light that's ahead. believing that in this journey of love if swara has come this far towards him escaping the jaws of death it his duty to pull the courage and meet her with equal care and love as the situations demanded. Yes again to say that she lost her self to the darkness and fear and he has to bring her to light through words of reassurrance
Finally in Swara - who feels butterflies and weak kness despite the bile and hatred that her mind churns in her. I so loved the question for question for question conversation between Sanskaar and Swara, each questioning the other and their question, and even when they did answer, it was never enough as it raised more questions. For every question she asked, he answered it though it was more to what she did not ask and led to a new question. The whole conversation was such a pleasure to read, even a little painful as it laid bare Sanskaar's pain (and the lovely bit when in spite of all the confusion she is facing, she notes his eyelashes). And she is poised to step into light, when she says that she wants him to get involved that the therapy that could help her remember.
That was so sweet to know Nyna. ๐ณI actually had so many more lines written down but then it got too long. So I adjusted them fro a better length and it was still lengthy but I went with it..ofcourse very apprehensively. I aimed at something it came out more Like a riddle and with that apprehension I went for it. It really means a lot to know that you enjoyed the conversation and can't help but feel really pleased when you also say that the emotions were conveyed as I aimed them to, Thankyou so much for those lovely words . They come as a kick always. ๐ค
As usual, a captivating chapter.
love,
Nyna
