Hi dears,

I really wanted to write a different post today. Not because the episode was any less good, but because I had some time to spare and a hand full of thoughts to share. So instead of musing about the entire episode, let me make an exception today and grasp just one beautiful moment. The eye lock, where Swara and Sanskar looked in to each other's eyes and the rest of the world, the mask of Kissan, the reasons, logic and everything else just faded away.
There had been so many times when they had their gazes locked. While in love those were beautiful moments, but the story started a long back. It had been her eyes that looked past his facade of innocence when he had been the black knight fighting the demons of his past. Oh, what did not he do, to escape those eyes, which made him uncomfortable, which always saw too much. What had not he done, to make sure they were not his undoing.
Tears, brimming in those eyes had brought his walls melting down. They reached his heart and burnt off his resolve of hatred. Sanskar was forced to amend his ways, step out of darkness. Those eyes, shone with light when she forgave him. Those eyes reflected light, that pulled him out of his pits.
Those eyes, lit up with fiery trust, when accusations were hurled at him. There had been warmth enough in those pools to melt away the cold shoulders of his family. Those eyes offered him shelter, gave him strength.
It was those eyes, he had fallen in love with. As he said most correctly...a love that had no aim, no hope, no reason...a love that he himself could not stop. A love that was fated all along.
It was those eyes, finally glared at him with determination and encouraged him to shoot, while she herself stood at the brink of death. There was flames of love as she declared she loved him, for one last time. He could not hold on...the guilt would eat him forever.
It was these same eyes, that stared at him as if seeing a stranger. It broke him. Still, he recalls how he was reflected in those eyes...and resolves that although he is not in them now, he would be there one day soon. In her heart, in her eyes, where Sanskar truly belongs.
That is indeed the moment of the episode. A moment worth writing down in SwaSan journey of deepest love. Since I started with a guzal it would be right to end with one too. This one, I always felt has vibes of Sanskar's resolve.
Apni haathon ki lakeeron mein basa le mujh ko
mai hoon tera to naseeb apna bana le mujhko
*This section is for those who do not understand the above verses. I'll do my best to give a simple meaning, but it might not touch the deeper theme.
The opening one...
Let me drawn in the ocean of your eyes
I am your culprit hence let me dip and die
My new friend I'll consider you my own as well
But let these wounds heal first of all
The fires world had set would cease
Let a tear of yours fall for me too
How much your love has wounded me
I feel like telling you, but let's leave it
The last one
Let me seep in to the lines on your palm
I am you destiny make me yours...
Thanks for reading. Your thoughts are welcome as always.
Love,
Sakura
