Hello all. Due to a very packed schedule I was not able to update. And when I have written the chapter, IF deleted it. So again I had to write it. Moreover, I am very sick. If there are any errors plz forgive this bachi. Though I will try my best to avoid spelling mistakes. But if there are any, plz ignore them. And I as always say, criticism is gladly accepted.
Chapter 15
Swasan started for south city mall ( I don't know how is it in real. Have just seen the pics and heard about it by my friends. I heard it is a very big mall. So added it. If my info is wrong, pls correct me.)
In the car
Swa- sanskar
San- hmm
Swa- mujhe bohot dar lag raha hai.( I am very scared)
San- the great swara maheshwari is scared. Reason kya hai.
Swa- kahi wo dono kuch plan kar rahe ho humare khilaf ( what if they both are planning something against us)
San- not today swara, pls. I'm really fed up with them. At least one day we should enjoy, right. Common zyada mat socho. Agar they are planning something. Then I'm sure we can tackle it. Abhi pls mujhe ek smile dedo. Khush ho jao kyunki the great sanskar maheshwari tumhe shopping ke liye le jaa raha hai. ( pls give me a smile. Be happy because the great sanskar maheshwari is taking u for shopping)
Swa- the great sanskar maheshwari main swara sanskar maheshwari hoon. Mera naam tumse bada hai. ( the great sanskar maheshwari I'm swara sanskar maheshwari. My name is bigger than urs)
San- u don't know my full name sanskar ramprasad maheshwari. See it is bigger than urs.
Sea- then that will make my name swara sanskar ramprasad maheshwari. See my name is big.
She sticks her tongue out and sanskar is lost in her. Swara's face becomes as red as beet root when she sees sanskar staring at her. She waves her hand infront of sanskar bringing him out of his dreamland.
Swa- mall jane ka koi irada hai kya mr maheshwari ( do u have any intention of going to the mall mr maheshwari)
Sanskar starts the car. They soon reach to the mall.
Mall
San- so what do u want to buy.
Swa- pehele I want some suits. I don't have many ( I want some suits. I don't have many)
San- fine chalo.
They enter into a shop. Swara starts searching for some anarkali suits. Some simple ones. Some designer. After 20 mins she selects 3 of them. She shows them to sanskar.
San- ache hain ( they are good)
Swa- I have to buy some sarees also.
San- but why sarees. U are not so comfortable in them, right. Phir kyun ( then why)
Swa- main har wakt anarkali mein nahi reh sakti naa sanskar. Aur ghar par mehmaan bhi aane wale hain. If they see me in suits, they may not like naa. Already me being a bengali has caused a lot of problems in ur family. Tumne mujhe kaha nahi hoga par main janti hoon sanskar. U should never be embarrased that too because of me.(I always can't be in anarkalis no sanskar. And so many guests are also coming. Sanskar was just surprised. He did not understand how did she ever come to know.
Swa- zyada mat socho. Mujhe sab pata hai. Biwi hoon tumhari. Now common I have to buy sarees also. ( dont think too much. I know everything. I am ur wife.)
Then they both go to the sarees section. Swara was just confused because this is the first time she is selecting sarees. Before marriage shomi used to select and give it to her. Swara did not understand which one to buy. She take out five sarees and show to sanskar.
Swa- batao naa konsi saree khareedun. Mujhe kuch samajh nahi aa raha ( tell me which saree should I buy. I am confused)
San- sare khareed lo ( buy all the five)
Swa- nahi. Main zyada sarees pehenti kaha hoon. Be wajah cupboard mein stack ho jayega. ( no. I don't wear many sarees. They will be stacked up in the cupboard.)
Sanskar looks at all the sarees keenly and picks out 3 of them. All the three were simple yet stunning.
San- so aapke sarees bhi ho gaye ( so ur sarees also over). Now what is left. Jaldi karo( do fast). It is almost evening.
Swa- haan haan don't worry. My lehenga and jewellery are left. And after that ur sherwani. Uske baad we can go back home.
San- but why do I need a sherwani. I'm fine with my blazers and shirts.
Swa- sanskar it is festive time. U are stuck with ur blazers and shirts. They are for ur office. Tyohar ke din bhi blazers pehenoge to bewakoof lagoge. So chup chap mere sath chalo. ( sanskar it is festive time. U are stuck with ur blazers and shirts. They are for ur office. If u wear ur blazers during the festival u will make a fool out of yourself. So be quiet and come with me.)
Swara dragged sanskar to the lehenga section. There were many exquisite lehengas stacked up in the shelves. The saleswoman ( I really don't know what they call those people who help us in selecting a dress in shops but have heard this word used by many people) was helping swara. Sanskar's eyes were stuck in one lehenga. Soon, swara selected one lehenga. She showed it to sanskar. Sanskar though accepted it but he liked another lehenga and he thought it would suit swara. But he went with swara to the counter for the payment.
Then he payed the bill and they came out when sanskar made an excuse that he forgot his phone in the shop and went inside the shop. He purchased the lehenga and came out.
Swara was surprised to see a bag in his hands because she was holding all the bags in her hand. She was wondering whether she has left any bag in the shop or what.
Swa- sanskar ye bag.
San- well another lehenga for u.
Swa- lekin iski kya zarurat hai sanskar. I already bought one naa. ( what is the need of it. I already bought one naa)
San- yaa but I thought this will suit u more than that. Dekho.
He hand overs the bag to her. Swara opens to see the bag. She finds a very beautiful and heavy lehenga inside it.
Swa- sanskar ye bohot costly hai ( sanskar this is very costly)
San- but not more than u. I have entered in ur life as a devil but u entered in my life as an angel. This is the least I can do to express my gratitude.
Swara is just surprised by his answer.
San- now pls don't be emotional. Tum ladkian bhi bohot ajeeb hain. Gussa karo to rote hain. Complement karo to rote hain. ( u girls are really weird. If we show our anger u cry. If we complement then also u cry)
Swara wipes her tears before they fall. She composes herself.
Swa- now ur turn. Time for ur shopping.
San- but is it really necessary.
Swa- yes ofcourse. Don't throw tantrums like a baby. Common sanskar. Pleaseee
San- k fine.
Then they move to men's section. Swara searches a very elegant sherwani for him. And asks him to try it. He goes to the trial room and tries the sherwani. He comes out infront of swara.
Swa- looking very handsome mr maheshwari.
San- thanks for the compliment.
Swa- dosti ka usool mat bhoolo ( don't forget the rule of friendship)
San- ok madam.
He changes and comes out. Then the salesman packs the dress and gives it to them. They pay for the dress and come out.
San- swara u did not buy any jewellery.
Swa- sanskar I have many of them matching for both of my lehengas. So I don't need them.
But haan I need red bangles. Wo hum raste mein khareed lenge( we can buy them on our way). Actually mata rani ke upar chadhana hai ( we should adorn them on the Goddess).
Then both come out of the mall and proceed to the shop told by swara.
