Saku my dear...🤗 I will un res my earlier spot for a comprehensive comment tomorrow morning darling. Sorry, but you know my idiosyncratic dislike of typing comprehensive comments on my android. 😊
But in the meantime I wanted to say this...you are making me fall more and more and more in love with the winterland series...now of course extended to the Spells of springtime. 🤗 It is, without doubt, a saga, an epic. One of the finest pieces I've had the good fortune to have read, anywhere on IF.

Coming to the romance / soul connect element, I like 2 genres...the friendship gradually growing to love angle; and the childhood sweethearts angle. Sanskaar and Swara in the winterland and now in spring, combine these aspects, in a way. Of course, the fact that their story was anything BUT a straightforward, vanilla romance, only adds to the sheer allure, the mystique, the intensity of their tale. I loved their connect here. ...and that last sentence by Swara...realizing that they've been in love for years, been part of each other's dreams and plans and very consciousness, was so very powerful.

Baki tomorrow in my comprehensive comment. 🤗

Love ya

Viji

Viji darling,
You don't have to say sorry, I know how hard it is to type from phone...I've been there when my computer decided it had lived enough
Did the winter tales move a spot deeper in your heart? When you call it a Saga or an Epic if feel like bursting with happiness. Thank you so very much for that!
Childhood sweethearts are cool and as you said in your Toska, love is friendship caught fire right? Oh yeah, they took the most twisty road to that happily ever after, with so many battles and wars dragging their way to obstruct the parth...it was anything but Vanilla romance. I thought that last sentence will be a good opening for the rest of shots to come, glad you found it power-packed.
Waiting for that comment...
loads of love,
Saku

I don't think the winterland saga could possibly move any spots closer in my heart. 😉 They've already occupied the central slot. 😆 But yup, the Spells are certainly adding a lovely luminescent sheen to the saga.

Saku, Saku...I had res'd with my usual hiss and my evil winter lady grins 😆 But then I had to edit. I can't let those be on a spot for a chapter filled with such utter bliss.

You reminded me of my days cuddling and walking up and down with my daughter when she was an 8 month old. Her first words. The way she would grasp my fingers and pull my hair. And I am just crying now while typing. 😊 We mothers are a funny group of people, you know. We get sleep deprived and utterly exhausted when our babies are tiny waifs, and fancy that it will be somewhat of a relief when they grow up a little. But then we get all teary and emotional when we remember their tiny selves. 😊

Res Shall Un-res later for a detailed revert.
