Hi Friends. ..🤗

Thanks so much for the enquiries if there's another OS to come. Well, I am writing one more now, but it's not a continuation of "Toska". That story arc ends here, with SwaSan's Ekstaz. 😊

I'd hoped to have the other standalone OS up by the weekend, but looking tough now, as I had work today too, plus some other family commitments.

Will do my best to have up as soon as possible. Should be early coming week.

Very touched by all the love and appreciation. Thanks guys...

Wish you all a Very Happy Valentine's Day in advance. 🤗

Lots of Love

Viji

Hi viji,
Sry for the late comment ..
Loved this one ..the pain and separation of Sanskar and swara was beautifully portrayed..such in depth details ..swara realized his imp during the separation ..she becoming almost lifeless without him.shomi as a perfect mother who understands her daughters dilemma..and being the guide she so needs .
I loved the happy swara who coudnt wait to see her Prince Charming ..the fall ,the emotions all well explained ..that recliner somehow transported me to Ipkknd days ..having seen it in both the Seasons .

Hey Viji 🤗🤗
First of all again I am extremely sorry for commenting so late. Today being Sunday I finally sat down to read this beautiful piece of writing. What a word Toska. The Russian Language is just as much captivating, aristocratic and rich in its nature as the Greek and Roman Languages. No better word to describe the immense pain and heartache that both Swara and Sanskar are suffering. This was definitely the most difficult time in their lives and you have spelled out each and every emotion so vividly that you can't help but feel the pain they are going through.Though in this one Swara is considerably feeling more desolate I still think its incomparable to what Sanskar has gone through.

Perhaps its my love or Sanskar and the fact that I still haven't quite forgiven her for always taking him for granted and the times when she behaved very badly with him. Its not that I don't understand her insecurities, where they stem from. I do and thats why I am glad she recognizes the mistakes she has made.

Shomi is just as remarkable here as she is in the show. She is a strong woman and more importantly a wonderful mother. I love how she gently but purposefully made Swara realize that Kavita is Sanskar's past and she is his present and future. She lit the runaway and silently prayed that her daughter will take off in the right direction.

I just loved how Swara collided with Sanskar and for a change found him on top of her.😆
That kiss was 😳😳. Never thought Swara was in to the study and research on the most common display of human affection.

Thank you for dedicating Toska to Me. It was pure Ekstaz🤗

Hey Saji dear...🤗 🤗

Please don't apologize sweetie. I always say there is no such thing as a "late" comment, I just want my pals to read when convenient, that's all. Thanks so much for this lovely feedback, and am so happy to hear that you loved this OS.

I wanted to portray the intense yearning and melancholy Sanskaar and Swara feel at their separation. Yes, Swara does realize the depth of her own feelings during that time--Sanskaar has of course already accepted and internalized his own feelings some time back. But true to his word, he never tried to force his feelings on Swara.

I wanted to show Shomi as what I feel she is: a very wise and perceptive mother, who counsels Swara gently to resolve her deep seated insecurities.

So glad you liked the SwaSan and Shomi portrayal, as well as the SwaSan reunion and romance at the end. 😊 I had imagined the recliner scene out of the classic "Tum Mere Upar Ho Swara" scene in the serial, and reversed it into a "Tum Mere Neeche Ho Swara" 😉 😃

But now that you mention it, it does have a link to IPKKND also--in terms of the recliner! I didn't see the second season though--was it good? You mean the Hotstar telecast of IPKKND Ek Jashn right?

Thanks again dear!

Love,

--Viji

Ruqu my dear, dear pal...🤗 🤗

Firstly, you are completely welcome about the dedication. You know how much your comments motivate me, I always look forward to them. 😊 And please don't say sorry, there is no problem at all about commenting when time permits yaar. Real life has its own pressures, I'm just happy that you can read when convenient, that's all.

Thanks so much for your absolutely lovely comment, as always. I am overjoyed that Toska transported you to Ekstaz. 😊 You're right, Russian does have a number of beautiful words, others being Radost (Joy) and Krasivaya (beautiful). 😳 But I guess Italian and French are the most beautiful of all the European languages.

I really did want to portray that intense anguish, yearning, and nostalgic melancholy which both of them undergo when they are apart. I agree with you, I would think that though both suffered the pangs intensely, there is this distinction that Sanskaar had already accepted, internalized and confessed his deep love for Swara. And despite this, he was willing to let her go, not force his love upon her. And still be her best friend. I guess, the agony he feels when she is not with him, is of a supremely crushing variety, truly burning in the hellfire of separation.

Swara, of course, feels terrible melancholy and and almost spiritual ache when she is apart from Sanskaar---for her, it is a taste of a loss of her heaven! And while the anguish is of the same intensity for her too, I guess the distinction lies in the fact that she was still in some degree of denial, till she had to go away from Sanskaar. It is then, that the realization of the complete intensity of her feelings strikes her---when of course the attendant insecurities also raise their head, her deep rooted fears and low sense of self esteem.

That is where Shomi plays a crucial role, as a wise and perceptive Mom, who has had enough life experience to give her such a wonderful perspective on life. Who better than her to give the right counsel to Swara after all, to resolve her deep set insecurities.

I am so very happy you liked this portrayal, Ruqu darling. And as for the recliner scene: "Tum Mere Neeche Ho" and Swara's not so Sanskaari reply to that 😳 I was in SwaSan dreamland when I wrote that and their romance scene. and as you can imagine, I was over the moon to hear that you loved it! Swara certainly has some very interesting experiments coming up---all for supposedly academic reasons of course!! They do need to tally the wonderful reality to their dreams of each other na? 😉 Though it is a given, that the reality would be far more tantalizing and fulfilling than the dream! 😆

Lots of Love,

---Viji

Hi Viji! Unresing very late I know. But I'd so much workload and exams, I'm really sorry!
Hope this one is forgiven.
So continuing with it. The OS was awesome! I loved it too much. The description of the pain and turmoil in the hearts of both Swara and Sanskaar was too good!
Sanskaar was so pained with Swara's absence as if his life has been drained away from him. He loves her so much. Unconditional, irrevocable, selfless and pure! This guy is too amazing ain't he?
God I love him so damn much!!<3
Swara was equally in a horrible condition. She appeared so sad and sullen. I guess that would be an understatement. It looked as it was some excruciating pain that was stabbing her each and every second as she was away from Sanskaar. Aw...
Swara and her insecurities. Sheesh she's so worried but not about the fact that she'll be hurt but the fact that she won't be able to love Sanskaar to the extent that he deserves. How cute was that gesture.
Finally these two half dead souls meet! OMG what a meeting ahem..ahem. Right falling on the sofa.
Amazinggg. And Sanskaar's epic dialogue- Tum mere neeche ho Swara😆 Lol.. this guy is choo cuteee. And Swara's reply was epic😆😆 I loved it<3 The confession was nice and the emotinal outburst. Such a treat for a Valentine week!😳

Hey Sakshi sweetie...🤗 🤗

Hope your exams went well. And please, please don't apologize yaar...I keep saying, there's no such thing as a "late" comment. I just want my pals to read when convenient, and let me know what they felt, that's it. No pressure of any timelines, exams are bad enough! 😆

I'm so very happy, over the moon, that you loved this OS so much, Its quite close to my heart, to be frank.

I wanted to show Sanskaar and Swara's yearning, anguish and melancholic heartache at being away from each other. Totally--Sanskaar's love is so intense, so selfless and irrevocable, that he would literally feel drained, a vital part of him missing, when she was not around. And Swara is battling heartbreak of her own---she's realized the depth of her own feelings for Sanskaar, but just isn't sure if she would be able to love him back with the same intensity he showers upon her.

Am so very glad you loved this portrayal, as well as their--ahem ahem--reunion. 😳 I had lost myself in SwaSan dreamland when I wrote that scene, BTW, so as you can imagine, it made my day to hear you adored it so much. That recliner certainly proved useful na? Very useful! ☺️

I couldn't resist mirroring that situation from the serial. So the "Tum mere upar ho" becomes "Tum Mere Neeche Ho" 😉 and Swara has some pretty A-Sanskaari responses to that! 😳 After all, woh pehle upar thi na, so its only fair that they take turns! 😆

Thanks for saying you loved their emotional confession of their love and the bliss that follows.

All the Best for your papers, once again!

Cheers
