Naina my dear...🤗 🤗
First you have to tell me how you juggle so many fics at the same time. 😆 There's Zinda Rehti Hai. ..which is one of my all time favorites. Then Adha Ishq, which is poised at such a tantalizing juncture. And now this story too is shaping up so very well. I am so very eager to see how Love finds a way 😉 for Swara and Sanskaar in Kerala. Nammade Keralam. 🤗 🤗
I really liked the trajectory of their relationship you chalked out in this chapter. The resentment and misunderstandings, the preconceptions they had about each other, slowly giving way to an attachment, a sense of possessiveness and attraction. Very well portrayed.
That opening scene with Sanskaar coming to visit Sharmishta, and craning her neck to see if Swara was there, was so cute. He was about to confess the full truth to Sharmishta, but Swara stopped him mid way since she did not want to create any misunderstanding between her mother and her best friend. Whatever the misunderstanding with Sanskaar, it was nice that she realized Sharmishta is a very dear friend and well wisher of her mom. And she likes Ragini too...that's nice, she's anyway going to be her future sister in law. 😆
That conversation between Swara and Sanskaar was so intense. She was hostile and mocking, and Sanskaar was feeling very bad about it. He does feel so sorry for what he has done, but now his ego is hurt that Swara is not listening to him or accepting his apology.
And the next scene, with Sanskaar and his friend Nandu, was awesome. 😆 Nandu is completely smitten by how beautiful Swara is 😉 but Sanskaar just got furious when he spoke about her beauty and how he wished she was his wife!! 😆 Sansku is already feeling an unexplainable possessiveness over Swara...such white Hot rage at the thought of someone else looking at her or wishing to marry her. 😉 It was awesome how he literally held his friend's neck, for daring to speak of Swara like that.
It felt nice that Swara spoke affectionately to Annapurna and Ragini. At least she sorted out the misunderstanding with them. That was when she noted that her mother was requesting Sanskaar to make arrangements for their trip to Guruvayur the next day.
And that night, Sharmishta explained to her, how Sanskaar had helped her so very much, right from the time he was just 11 years old. How he would come without her prompting, insisting that he would get the provisions and groceries for her. And how he had in fact, saved Swara's life all those years ago, when she was just 8 years old...
Slowly, all this news changed Swara's perception of Sanskaar. 😉 That extreme prejudice got softened, and the next day, she felt a pang when she realized Sanskaar was avoiding her. 😳 The way she was admiring his handsome features when they all were in the car, gazing at his reflecting in the rear view mirror, was so cute. 😉 She was gazing at his eyebrows and eyes, nose, stubble and thinking that he was so very handsome. Arre wah!! 😳
And Sanskaar observed Swara gazing at him. 😳 He was puzzled why Swara was staring at him like that...but his heart kept prompting him to take a look at her reflection in the mirror too. 😉 The tender feeling coursing through him when he saw her dozing so innocently on her mother's shoulder, was so very sweet. He feels now that she is a genuine and sweet person, not arrogant and spoiled as he earlier assumed. He really does feel sorry for the silly practical joke he played on her...and is wishing so hard that she forgives him.
And on the other hand, Swara herself wants so keenly for him to start talking to her and noticing her again, she too wants to say thanks to him, and also say sorry for getting so furious with him. 😉
It looks like romance will blossom very soon. I am just waiting to read some intensely romantic and yet tender moments between them. 😳
