Hey Bubble sweetheart...🤗 🤗
Like I mentioned in my short comment prior, I just loved the last 3 chapters. Of course, they were predominantly centered on SwaSan 😉, but apart from that, it was the finesse and subtlety with which you handled the equation between them, the progress in their relationship to complete intimacy that really struck me.
Chapter 47 showed the final consummation of their mutual passion, and you ensured it wasn't in the least bit risque. You made it so exquisite, such an integral part of their lovely relationship. Loved how Sanskaar is attuned perfectly to Swara's nervousness, and paces their drift towards their ultimate union in such an understanding, careful manner. Liked all the descriptions about how he knew when to back off, and when to be right next to her, giving and demanding her full attention. And how on a rare occasion, he would soothe her worries with comforting murmurs, but insist that she give way that once to him; but usually he would always rein himself in even before she was willing to let go of him. 😉 😳 Intelligent man! Knows how to make it piquant, indeed!
Oh yes, intelligent, clever man! Patient and never in doubt of the outcome but for a few desperate days in the middle when he thought she would leave the house.
Oh, a few references here which I so loved, I was grinning so much to myself. The "Thoda dard hoga" reminded me of Arnav & Khushi from Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon...😉
Hahah, trust you to spot that. I was chuckling to myself as I used ASR's line here - after all THIS was the kind of occasion THAT scene hinted at... 😆😆😆
And the lovely maang filling scene from the morning after, was of course, reminiscent of SwaSan's sindhoor marriage---one of my very favorite scenes form the serial, indeed, my favorite moment of any TV show or film, come to that!
Yes, mine too - such great intensity among a plethora of conflicted feelings!
Chap 48, loved the banter between the younger set at the breakfast (brunch? 😛) table. Oh dear...Sanskaar certainly was embarrassed at being called Shona. 😆 😆. Probably Swara called him that in their--ahem ahem---provate moments together? 😳 The priceless bit was Lakshya asking him---"Can you pass me the salt...Shona?" 🤣 🤣
I must tell you, the way Sanskaar tells Swara he has to leave to Japan, and the way she reacts, were true gold. Exactly how a newly married couple (in this case, SwaSan certainly are newly married in a sense)...reacts to a temporary separation. Its logically only 4 days, but would seem like 40! Every moment apart is a sheer burden. Swara's plaintive "Main jiyoongi kaise" was again evocative of Sanskaar's heartfelt dialogue (which he tried to cloak as mischievous raillery) of the Diwali episode.
Again, yes, I was trying to echo that moment. He said it as a joke but did mean it kinda... why else would be almost plead to be allowed to go with her... I thought that was so sweet.
For Swara to say it, and almost mean it... because she's made herself ill with bereavement... made sense. Now she matches him in love and longing.
And again, in chap 49, so many little tidbits which rang so true. Swara and Sanskaar's faces, drawn in misery at their impending separation...His abruptly asking his mother to take care of his wife...Sujata's histronic reactions, amusing as usual! 😃
Swara got so emotional at being parted from Sanskaar, that she started running a temperature. For me, both Ragini's and Lakshya's reactions stood out here, as did Swara's own. Swara did not want Sanskaar to be told about her illness, for fear that his oncentration and focus during his trip would waver. She was right, actually, his heart would never have been on the meetings had he heard the news.
Ragini---actuallt felt concerned about Swara, and recounted to the family what she knew about her sister's predilection to get emotionally beaten down and show the physical aftermaths in terms of a raging fever! Chalo, at least she has started showing some empathy and concern for Swara; better late than never!!
And Lakshya---continues his "growing up" process. It is possibly a slightly bittersweet moment for him, he does have a wry grin on his face reflecting on how devoted Swara and Sanskaar are to each other now. There is that tiny bit of him that does wonder, how would things have been had he chosen to trust the person he claimed to love? But, as you so wonderfully explained, he also recalls what he saw his brother do after he himself refused to believe Swara. How he noticed Sanskaar focusing all his resolute determination, his potent adoration to be there for Swara when she needed him.
I felt for Lakshya at this point - his was the least of the misdemeanors against Swara on a human scale, but he got the worst of the punishment.
Of course, his offence as a lover was huge: lack of loyalty and trust - and he HAS paid the price. And taken it with grace. Now if his heart knows a few pangs... then they are his secret to bear. 😕😭😭
That was a lovely line there, BTW. That he was never obstinate or obdurate, but just quietly determined, always supporting Swara and doing whatever it took, showing immense patience, to win her over.
Waiting for Chap 50, dear! Woo Hoo! A half century of chapters huh? That truly is a Grand achievement!
Thanks 😳- what a long story I'm writing *facepalm* - but it has a mind of its own.
