Believe it or not, I didn't watch a single episode of rishta on tv until Covid

I mean I wasn't oblivious to the show, but it wasn't in my radar either. Gen 1 is my fav, but initial Kaira were nice. Young love, Kartik was a good guy, a guy who swooned for his girl. Naira was bold, say-it-like-you-see-it kinda girl which was rare at that time. She didn't hesitate to speak her mind.

It was nice to see honestly, despite the kalesh. Tbh, even Goenkas ki stupid kalesh was entertaining.

I stopped catching up after Naira's death, just caught the highlights. I am not a big fan of two sisters fighting for one man, so stopped watching altogether.

I only keep up through people who see the show.

I joined this forum quiet recently -- around August if I am not wrong. I simply jumped into one of the threads, and aadat hogayi. Then got roped into creating EDTs and rest is history, lol

I never actually watched yrkkh, but I knew about it because my MIL used to. One day while scrolling through reels, I came across OG jugaadu Abhira and realized it was Gen 4. Then I saw below scene and omg after more than a decade an ITV pair finally clicked for me. Sam and Sheh were terrific.

I started watching regularly after that… but now I regret it because neither OG Abhira is there anymore nor the Abhimaan 1.0 I fell for and Abhimaan 2.0 ka toh pucho mat.

@b: OG Abhira was kinda chaotic but nice. It was like seeing the chip of a old block, as in Naira. Shahi really made them trash.

My mom used to watch it so I had to watch it!!

I didn’t know this forum existed until last year.. I googled something and this forum came up, I used to read EDT’s beautifully written updates.. started following the forum, I hated scenes after abhimaan’s non deal wedding, so had started contributing to vent out!!!

Started college... Every now & then watched episodes & highlights.... But Gen1 is kind of celebrated in alnmost every household that time..... was really happy watching itGen2 cameup when I finished college, apart from Goenka hyppocracy &ego show was too good watched till Naira death & quit it after that..... But Gen3 promos of HC being Dr.Abhimanyu Birla attracted me again.... In start episodes I liked him but unable to tolerate his behaviour to Aarohi blaming her as villian & Akshu as some victim and he learned that hardway neither is true..... & Somehow I could watch Naira's reflection in him rather than legacy FL(her daughter)...... Abheera couldn't attract me with her over dramatic badabad-gadbad & self victimization promos made me despise rishta with Ruhi being such devastating charecter despite her sunshine childhood version made me quit.... But AbhiR Birla entry updates& promos attracted me again & his chaotic version being OGAbhiRa with grand Daksh truth revelation... I started watching again.... At the same time I kind of joined forum as I fed up with hyppocracy of Abheekmaan phans in YouTube...But it feels like grave mistake watching ristha again...with AbhiManyu charm of the show & originality everything gone....

I started watching after Naira's dresses were being sold in our market, called "Naira cut", even yesterday I tried a dress and was like "What is this?" My mom said "It is Naira cut", now I don’t exactly know the pattern but I can tell it is extremely popular

Then I enjoyed romantic scenes of Kaira, stopped watching after Naira's death

Online discussion on YRKKH boomed after Harshad's entry, I started watching again after Manjari's accident track, the scene where Abhimanyu said that Goenkas would have thrown him in jail without thinking was the first scene I watched of Gen 3

I didn't like Akshara from the beginning, she was insufferable after leap

I watched it for Naira and Abhimanyu, both had similar character arcs, both loved someone who didn't deserve it

But Mohsin and Shivangi's chemistry was something else

Never liked Pranali with Harshad or Jay for that matter

Stopped watching after Abhimanyu's death, started watching again because Gen 4 was copy of Kusum Dola, don't like any character in Gen 4, only hall drama and kalesh

Didn't watch Gen 1

To be honest my aunt..in summer holidays we used to go to my grandma's place...there my aunt used to watch Hindi serials....which is not allowed at my home (any serial)...then I saw gen1 for first time...we cousins used to get mesmerized with all festivals and new culture even though I didn't know Hindi....

Few gen1.....few gen2 epis...from gen3 i watched it fully

To be honest Hindi serials taught me more Hindi than school coz it is my 3rd language

Naksh natik akshara

their simple beautiful message ke realistic tradition family story and their arranged marriage and understand and most probably rajasthani marwadi traditional touch and naksh their child upbringing and season 1 and season 2 naira kartik love story and their ups and down but after they end naira character and introduce seerat and after that downfall started and I loose intrest and now nothing left in this show no feel connection nothing new want to end this show with this season 4 no want of season 5 any more end show and give time slot to other shows a new name fresh show at 9:30 star plus
