Geethu darling, what's up with you? All well? Hope the workload's easing up a bit and not as crazy as it was recently.

This letter was so apt, so succinct and so very Sanskaar. 👏 👏 You captured the pulse of his irritation and dare I say, disdain, towards his erstwhile cheli and partner in crime, the one and only (Thank God for small mercies! 😛) Ragini!

You know, Geethu, till the idiotic malkin drama started, I was actually hoping for, and rooting for, a realistic Ragini redemption track. I agree with you 100%, that while the choice of going over to the dark side was hers, she did have that oush by the misguided actions and choices of all the 3 other leads--Lakshya, by callously breaking his engagement with her twice over, and pursuing her hald sister; Swara, by initially taking the correct stance of having nothing to do with Lakshya but then assuming that she loved him after all (more love with the idea of his love...but that's another tale!), and of course, Sanskaar, for initially co-opting her into his plan for vendetta.

But now the scene's completely changed. Sanskaar had tried repeatedly to pull her back from the brink; Swara has genuinely moved on and she and Sanskaar are deeply, irrevocably in love. To boot, she has repeatedly forgiven Ragini for her egregious misdeeds, lies, manipulation, slander and deceit. Ragini has also connived to stay in her mariage with Lakshya, and has blackmailed her way into ownership of the Maheshwari firm and home. (As illogical and unrealistic as this plot is in the real world, in Swaragini land, she's the malkin!)

But she still wants to disrupt the SwaSan wedding, pour vile invective on Swara at every turn! I can't for the life of me figure out why! And you made Sanskaar voice that irritation and skepticism of her irrational behavior so well. Why does she have to act this way?

As you made him say so well, earlier, when she was fighting for her love, one could at least think she had some sort of a twisted rationale, though one couldn't empathize with it. But now, she's being vile without cause, evil without any motive! As Sanskaar says, she's not a cunning, formidable opponent anymore. She's being plain foolish, petty and spiteful.

Great work with this letter Geethu. You should think of writing one from Swara to Ragini as well.

I'm glad I decided to check my PM now right after I just watched yesterday's episode and have been craving for more of Sanskaar showing Ragini the mirror and you've given me just that. Brilliant piece of writing 👏

Ragini just continued to loose whatever sympathy I had for her ever since the malkin track when she still wanted to avenege SwaSan and got their divorce done through petty means. Right now, she's just a pathetic, insecure, whiny woman.

Works eased out and now I am happy that I have time to breathe.😆 I hope it stays this way for a while 😊 finally catching up with all the PMs. Happy that I get to read about my favorites after so long

I am happy that you approve of the letter. Sanskaar is one character that I have always understood and related to so to read that you found it Sankaar-ish made me very happy😃 I was so annoyed with her character after that episode that I just had to get it all out.😡

I am with you on Ragini redemption Viji. I too was rooting for her redemption before the maalkin track. Actually I hoped the maalkin track was actually the redemption track. Even when she made Swara sign those divorce papers for alimony, I wondered if she was doing that on purpose since the old ragini was smart enough to realize Sanskaar knew his Swara was a lot of things, dense, stupid and insensitive especially towards his feelings being one of those but never selfish or matlabi. She would never ask for alimony of 10 crores! I was hoping she was actually doing all that to unite SwaSan but guess that was all wishful thinking on my part and what happened later completely ruined her character for me. What started out as the strongest most sensible , cunning negative character on TV had now been reduced to a complete bimbo! 😡

And all of us you, me , Medhu, Shru have all discussed how Ragini switching towards the darker side was a consequence of the actions of all the other 3 leads of the show. I understood and even sympathized for her character then. I in no way am saying it justified what she did but you could still sort of get why she did what she did. Which is exactly the problem with her character now. There is no sense! Zilch, in what she is doing. She is truly an evil soul. There is no grey anymore. A girl who would want to squash the happiness of the two people who have seen nothing but pain, most of it her own doing, because she thinks she might lose her peace of mind? Not only does it mean there is no redemption for her character anymore but that she really needs medical attention! After all this, the makers of the show still want us to go all "awww" at the siter bond and infact they show people around them doing exactly that! Even my Sanskaar!😡 *pulling my hair out* Swara and Ragini can never go back to being what they were. Period!

I have told you how much I anjoyed Ragini's character before. She was my second favorite(only as a character) after Sanskaar , in terms of being well written and layered. She was truly one brilliant character and to see it reduced to this makes me really angry! I knew she had to turn positive since she was a lead and Tejaswi had a problem with her being negative (which I completely understand) but that did not mean all that intelligence and good sense had to be thrown out. What a colossal dissapointment her character has turned out to be🤢 I really wish the writers could be more consistent with their own creations. We have seen it multiple times when a character does something so unlike him/her - seen it happen with Sanskaar as well (made me almost loose my mind😡 ) .What does it take to keep the essence and characterization of a particular character intact?! This is what I hate about watching daily soaps especially the ones on Indian TV😵

Swara's POV ? I don't know how far I can do justice to it but I'l try and post one Viji. I think I might enjoy writing one in her POV and try to make sense of her acting the way she is right now on TV🤔😆
