Chapter 1:-

So, let's start with the beginning of everything. We're
going to a basti (a slum area) to meet our hero, Lakshya. We can see
some kids playing hide and seek. A boy of 8 is counting to 50. He has
to be Lakshya, our hero. Well, not now but some or the other day he'll
grow up to become our hero, Ragini's hero. Let's get back to the story.

Lakshya- 1, 2, 3, 4, 5...50! Ready or not, here I come!

Lakshya finds a guy in 2 minutes. All the kids are playing when
Lakshya's eyes suddenly fall on a basti girl who was looking at him
from her room, nearly 6 years old. As soon as he looks at her, she hides
behind the curtain. Lakshya finds something strange. A car comes and
stops near Lakshya. A woman opens the door of the car. This woman is
Lakshya's mom.

Mom- Lucky, how many times do I have to tell you to stay away from
these slum kids? Don't you understand that in simple language? These
kids are not worth your friendship. They are not of our level. We are
the Maheshwaris. You have the blood of the royals running in your
veins. Do you realise that? You're not meant to play with them. Play
with the kids in our society.

Lakshya- Mom, I don't like those kids. They are very bad. They say mean
things to me. They say that my parents don't love me and so they are
sending me off to London. They say you and dad want to get rid of me.

Lakshya gets inside the car.

Mom- That's not true, my son. Your father and I, both love you a lot.
But we are sending you off to London because we want to provide you the
best education facilities. Trust me, we all love you a lot.

Lakshya gets happy hearing this. He hugs his mother.

After 5 days, we can see Lakshya crying near the burning pyre of
someone. Who's pyre is this? Oh no! Lakshya's mother left him forever.
Suddenly, someone coms and hugs Lakshya. He is his father.

After a week or so, we see Lakshya packing his clothes for his journey to London. His father comes.

Father- Lucky, are you sure you wanna go?

Lakshya- Yes, dad. I really wanna go. This was Mom's last wish. She
wanted me to get my education from London. I will fulfill this wish of
hers dad.

Father- Alright, son. Let's go then.

Lakshya- Dad, can I please go see my basti friends first? I wanna meet them one last time before leaving. May I?

Father- Sure, son. We'll go there first and from there, we shall be heading towards the airport. Will that be okay?

Lakshya- Okay, dad.

Lakshya and his dad head towards the basti first. All the kids gift
chocolates and goodbye cards to Lakshya. Suddenly, Lakshya's eyes fall
on the same girl who used to keep looking at him. She was standing
behind a tree, crying. Lakshya slowly moves towards her.

Father- Lucky, where are you going? Come let's go. We're getting late.

Lakshya- Give me a second, dad. I'll be right back.

Father- Okay, be quick.

Lakshya goes towards the tree and seeing him, the girl starts running.

Lakshya- Hey! Hey, wait. Don't run! I won't hurt you.

The girl stops running and stands still.

Lakshya- Why were you running? And are these tears in your eyes? have you been crying?

The girl- No, I wasn't. I was just...

The girl gets nervous. Lakshya understands this so he tries to calm her down.

Lakshya- Hahaha chill, it's okay. It happens. What's your name?

The girl- My name? Umm Guddi.

Lakshya- Guddi? Nice name. Well, can I ask you something?

Guddi- Yeah, sure.

Lakshya- I've seen you secretly staring at me a couple of times. May I know the reason?

Guddi gets embarrased and runs away.

Lakshya- Hey Guddi, wait. Why are you running?

Bittu, a boy of 4 or 5, comes running to Lakshya.

Bittu- Lakshya bhaiyya, your father is calling you. Come, let's go.

Lakshya- Okay. Accha Bittu, tell me something, do you know a girl named Guddi?

Bittu- Guddi didi? Yeah, she stays in the basti itself.

Lakshya- Then why doesn't she ever come out to play with us?

Bittu- Her mother is very strict. She doesn't let Guddi didi mix up with any of us, not even the girls.

Lakshya- Oh, I see.

Lakshya gets inside the car. The driver drives off and Lakshya sees
Guddi looking at him from outside the window, with tears in eyes. He
finds it really awkward.

Lakshya (to himself)- Why does this girl always keep looking at me?

They head towards the airport and board the flight. After admitting
Lakshya in the biggest school of London with all facilities, including
hostel, Lakshya's father comes back to India.

~~AFTER 16 YEARS~~

The story takes a leap of 16 years. We can now see the driver of Prakash
Raj Maheshwari waiting for someone in the airport. He is carrying a
name board which says "Lakshya Maheshwari". On the other side, we can
see that Lakshya's flight has finally landed. Lakshya gets down from
the flight. He keeps his feet on the ground and looks around. He looks
dashing.

Lakshya (To himself)- So, finally back to India after 16 years. This
sucks! I don't wanna live here. Send me back to London please.

Lakshya then sees his driver waiting for him with the name board. He walks towards him.

Lakshya- Let's go.

Driver- Are you Mr. Lakshya Maheshwari?

Lakshya- Hell yeah, I am! Why do you ask? You got a problem with that?
If yes, then give me the freaking keys and get the hell outta here. I
can drive my own car. If not, then shut the shit up and drive the car.

The driver gets scared and drives the car to the Maheshwari Mansion. Laksh gets down from the car and looks at his bungalow.

Lakshya (to himself)- Now this is something interesting.

Lakshya (to the driver)- Hey, you! Park the damn car and leave. Am I clear?

Driver- Yes, sir.

Lakshya runs inside the house. He immediately goes to his father's room
hoping to see him but Prakash Raj Maheshwari was nowhere to be seen.
Lakshya looks here and there and sees a servant.

Lakshya- hey, come here!

The servant looks behind and then back at Lakshya.

The servant- Me, sir?

Lakshya- Do you see someone else standing behind you?

Servant- No, sir.

Lakshya- Then whom do you think I am calling?

Servant- Sorry, sir. Yes, please tell me how I may be of your help.

Lakshya- I'm Lakshya, the son of your boss. What's your name?

Servant- Chotu, sir.

Lakshya- Chotu, have you seen dad? Where's he?

Chotu- Sir, he is on the terrace attending some important meeting with his clients.

Lakshya- Alright, I'll go meet him then.

Chotu- Sir, I would suggest you not to go now as he doesn't really like interference in his business meetings.

Lakshya- Who asked you for your suggestions? Did I?

Chotu- No, sir.

Lakshya- No, right? So please keep your valuable suggestions with yourself. Now shut the hell up and go do your work.

Lakshya runs to the terrace. He sees his dad busy with some important paper work. He runs to him.

Lakshya- Dad, you don't know how much I missed you.

Father- I missed you too, Lucky. But now you go get fresh. I'll talk to you later, okay? I'm quite busy.

Lakshya- No, dad. I wanna talk to you now.

Lakshya messes up all the business papers. His father gets ridiculously angry on him.

Father- Lucky, what the hell did you do? Do you even know how long it
took all of us to set these papers right? You're not a kid anymore,
Lucky. Do you realise that? This childish behaviour doesn't suit you
now. Grow up! Now get out of my sight.

Lakshya runs back to his room. He takes out a ciggratte from his pocket
and starts smoking. He looks at his mother's picture. A tear drop falls
from his eyes.

Lakshya (to himself)- Mom, without you this house is so boring. Why did
you leave me, mom? I miss you. Your Lucky misses you. I don't wanna
live in India. I wanna go back to London.

Very nice, indeed. You set up the characters really well.

Guddi is Ragini, right?

Lakshya seems to be wanting for love and affection. No wonder he is a brat.

Chapter 2:-

NOTE(Mentioning of new character)- Sanskaar Maheshwari aka Sanky, Lakshya's older brother.

Nest morning, we can see Prakash Raj Maheshwari getting ready for office. He shouts for Chotu.

PRM- Chotu! Chotu, where are you? Come fast.

Chotu comes running.

Chotu- Yes, sir. Do you need something?
PRM- No, I just called you to ask if Lucky has waken up. Has he?
Chotu- No, sir. Lucky bhaiyya is still sleeping.
PRM- Go, wake him up then. And when he wakes up, tell him to come to me.
Chotu- But sir, he looked tired yesterday. I think we should let him sleep a little longer today.
PRM- You don't know him, Chotu. He is a lazy fellow. He would give up anything for a 24 hour sleep. Go, wake him up or else you'll see him sleeping the whole day.
Chotu- Okay, sir.

Chotu goes to Lakshya's room. He sees Lakshya sleeping so he slowly walks towards his bed.

Chotu- Lucky bhaiyya, please wake up. Your father is calling you.
Lakshya (in a sleepy voice)- Get out, Chotu. Let me sleep.
Chotu- Wake up, Lucky bhaiyya. Your father shall be here any moment.

Lakshya gets scared hearing this. He immediately jumps from his bed.

Lakshya- Okay, you may go now.
Chotu- As you say, Lucky bhaiyya. And yes, I forgot to tell you. He wants to see you now.
Lakshya- Okay. Is there anything else you wanna tell me?
Chotu- No, Lucky bhaiyya.
Lakshya- Then stop looking at my face and get out. I need to take shower now.
Chotu- Alright, Lucky bhaiyya.

Chotu leaves. Lakshya goes to take shower. After a few minutes, he comes out wearing nothing but a towel. He gets dressed like a handome hunk (which he is) and starts combing his hair. He looks at himself in the mirror.

Lakshya (to himself)- Okay! So dear Indian girls, I've heard that you all play too hard to get. Let's see for how long you all can resist Lucky's charm.

Saying this, Lakshya smirks to himself. He runs to his dad's room, little scared. After the incident of the previous day, Lakshya has realised that his father is not the same as he used to be once upon a time. He was really scared but somehow he dared to enter the room.

Lakshya- Yes, dad. Chotu told me you wanted to see me. Is there something important?
PRM- Lucky, is your watch still working or is it dead?
Lakshya- Sorry, could you please repeat?
PRM- I asked, is your watch working or is it dead?
Lakshya- It works perfectly, dad. Why do you ask?
PRM- Then is this the time for someone to wake up? It's 10 a.m now. How lazy you are! Now follow me. Since you are done with your education, I want you to join the business now
Lakshya- Dad, I'm too young for this. I am just 24. These are my days of enjoyment. If not now, then when shall I enjoy?
PRM- What type of enjoyment are you talking about? Drinking? Partying? Is this what enjoyment means to you? Look Lucky, you're 24. When I was your age, your mother and I had your elder brother, Sanky. Wasn't I enjoying? Those were the best days of my life. I had my first son. And when I was 26, we had you.
Lakshya- But dad, those were your days. These are my days. This is the 21st century.
PRM- Oh please! Don't give me that shit, okay Lucky? Sanky is just 2 years older to you but look at him and look at yourself. He is in Mumbai, all alone, building an empire of his own. He has started his own business, Lucky. And you? You are still busy in the most horrible shits. Both are my sons, but both are opposite to each other. You don't even deserve to be my son, Lucky. There is still time, start getting serious about life! Opportunities don't come twice. Now get ready, you're going to office with me. You'll join business from today itself. And I've already found a secretary for you, someone who can tolerate your shitty habits and take you to the right path.

PRM walks downstairs and signals Lakshya to follow.

Lakshya (to himself)- F**k this shit! Business? Me? I'm so young. Why does this always happen with me?

PRM shouts from downstairs.

PRM- Lucky, hurry up. We're getting late.
Lakshya- Coming, dad.

Lakshya runs downstairs. They sit inside the car and head towards Maheshwari Industries. On reaching office, they get inside. PRM introduces Lakshya to everyone. They all congratulate him for the new job. On the very first day of office, many girls start crushing on him. They go to the receptionist, Tina.

PRM- Tina, take Lucky to his cabin.
Tina- Sure, sir.
PRM (to Lakshya)- Lucky, your secretary shall be here any moment. As soon as she comes, I'll send her to you. Don't be rude to her, do you hear me?
Lakshya- Alright, dad.

PRM leaves. Tina looks at Lakshya seductively. She is wearing a white shirt (upper button open) with a black mini pencil skirt and high heels. She had a ponytail done on her hair. Lakshya looks at her from top to bottom.

Lakshya (in mind)- This girl is gonna be mine, soon. Lucky, she is gonna be your 17th girlfriend. Brace up!
Tina (in a sexy voice)- Sir, shall we move?
Lakshya- yeah, of course. Let's go.

Tina takes Lakshya to his cabin. As soon as they enter the cabin, Tina starts rubbing his shoulder.

Tina- Sir, you must be tired. Shall I reduce your stress?
Lakshya (in mind)- Wow! This is awesome. I didn't even move a finger and this girl is already ready for bed. Lucky, your score goes high. Get your bed ready.
Lakshya- Yeah, you're right. I'm actually very tired. Please reduce my stress.

Tina makes him sit on the chair and she herself sits on his lap. She puts her lips on his and they start smooching. As soon as Lakshya lifts his hand to open the other buttons of Tina's shirt, a girl opens the door unaware of the scene going on inside the cabin. She gets shocked and embarrased. She immediately turns around. She is wearing an orange anaarkali suit with open hair. Seeing her, Tina gets up from Lakshya's lap and runs out of the cabin.

The girl- I'm so sorry, sir. I didn't see anything. Please carry on. I'll come back later. Sorry, once again.
Lakshya- Hey, wait! Who are you? And what are you doing here? Turn around. Look at me.

The girl- Is it done?
Lakshya- What are you talking about?
The girl- The thing that you guys were doing.
Lakshya- Shut up and look at me!

The girl turns around. She is too embarrased to face Lakshya so she keeps looking down. Lakshya gets angry.

Lakshya- Don't you understand English? I said, LOOK AT ME!

The girl gets scared and looks up, straight into Lakshya's eyes. Her eyes start watering. Lakshya sees this so he calms himself down.

Lakshya- Who are you? What are you doing in my cabin? And don't you have manners? Haven't you ever been told that one should knock before entering one's room?
The girl- I'm really sorry, sir. I forgot to knock.
Lakshya- What's your name?
The girl- Umm Ragini.

The way Ragini said her name, reminds Lakshya of Guddi.

Lakshya- And who are you?
Ragini- Sir, I've been appointed as your new secretary.

Lakshya gets shocked to see that his new secretary is a salwar kameez girl.

Lakshya (in mind)- I don't believe this! Dad chose this girl for me? He thinks she can tolerate me? OMG just look at her, such a behenji she is! Lucky is the unluckiest guy ever.
Ragini- Sir, is there a problem?
Lakshya- Yes, not one but too many problems. Firstly, my life is hell. Secondly, my dad is a jailer. Again, thirdly, you're my next problem.
Ragini- Me?
Lakshya- Yeah, you. I can see you becoming a problem to me very soon.

Lakshya leaves her alone in the cabin and goes out of the office right away. Ragini starts feeling lonely. She takes out a diary from her bag and starts writing something, with a smile on her lips. After a few minutes, PRM enters.

PRM- Ragini, where's Lucky?

Ragini gets nervous. She doesn't know what to say. She decides to save him.

Ragini- Sir, he has gone out to bring some required documents. He'll be back soon.
PRM- Wow, I'm surprised. On the first day itself, I can see him getting responsible. Thank you, Ragini. I chose you because I know, you and only you can change him.

Ragini gives a smile. PRM leaves and Ragini gets inside the world of her diary again. That day, Lakshya doesn't come back to office. He directly goes home in the evening. Entering home, he sees his father sitting in the hall. Lakshya decides to ignore him and walks towards his room.

PRM- Lucky, wait. Come here, son.

Lakshya stops and comes to him.

Lakshya- yes, dad.
PRM- Ragini told me everything.
Lakshya (in mind)- Shit! That girl told everything to dad? He is gonna kick my a** now.
Lakshya- Told you what, dad?
PRM- Your determination towards your job! I like it. I'm glad you took my words seriously.

Lakshya is shocked.

Lakshya- Sorry, dad. Could you please repeat? I didn't hear you.
PRM- Ragini told me that you had gone to get some documents ready. I'm really thankful to her for bringing this change in you. She, indeed, is a great girl.
Lakshya (in mind)- Oh please! That devi is a great girl? Chuck it! No matter how great she is, she'll always be a burden on my head.
Lakshya- Yeah, if you think so, may be she is!

Saying this, Lakshya runs to his room. He stands near the window thinking about how life has changed after his mother's death.
