Part 7:

After leaving the doctor's office Ragini felt lighter and she wanted to go and have lunch, she went to a corner caf and ordered some food for herself, Laksh saw her and went and sat ton her table, at first Ragini didn't see him she was looking at her phone texting Rohan to tell him she was going to be back after lunch. She looked up and saw Laksh staring at her. she wanted to get up and leave but then she thought she will not let him get to her. so she sat there and carried on using her phone she was ignoring Laksh. If he was sitting and wanted her to talk she was not going to talk to him he can talk to her.

Laksh was looking at Ragini and he was thinking that she will say something to him when she s done with her phone but no she was ignoring him, he didn't know what to say or how to start a conversation. He didn't want to say anything wrong which will make her upset and then there might be a scene this is a public place and he didn't want a scene.

Laksh said a little prayer in his head and decided he had to talk first since she was ignoring him.

Laksh: Hi

Ragini looked at him and just ignored him

Laksh: Ragini, please talk to me

Ragini didn't respond

Laksh: Ragini, can we please talk somewhere less public?

Ragini: there is nothing to talk about Mr Maheswari?

Laksh: Ragini please we need to talk

Ragini: I don't think we have too

Laksh: please I am begging just once, I think it will be good for us both

Ragini: why?

Laksh: because we need to talk about our past?

Ragini: I don't think we do. I left the past behind me and don't want to talk about it again

Laksh: I know but please just once

Ragini: just leave okay I don't want a scene here in public

Laksh: I know I don't want that either, can I message you so when can talk when you are free?

Ragini: there is no point

Laksh: please?

Ragini: fine 5 minutes, today after work around 17:30

Laksh: thank you I will meet you outside the hospital, take care, enjoy lunch and see you soon, he smiles and went

Ragini: what does he want? What is there to talk about? When we should have talked we didn't and now he wants to talk, god what is happening in my life.

Ragini finished her lunch and went to care home first to check everything was okay and they didn't need anything, after that she went to the hospital, it was 16:30, she was thinking that Laksh will be waiting for her outside in an hour she didn't want to see him but she couldn't ignore him either. Maybe he was right maybe they need to talk and close the chapter then they can bot move on in life and leave the past behind for good.

Laksh went home and was happy to het a chance to talk to Ragini, he knew it will be hard to talk to her but was happy she agreed to talk to him. He was sitting on his bed and was thinking of what to say when he sees her in the afternoon. There was a knock at is door, he told them to come in it was Sanskar.

Sanskar: hi, you okay your home?

Laksh: I am okay did you want something?

Sanskar: I just wanted to see how you were after seeing Ragini the other day after 4 months it cant be easy for you?

Laksh: I wont lie it was shocking and I was surprised but it's not all bad.

Sankar: so you happy to see her again?

Laksh: yes this gives a chance to talk over what happened in the past and move on in life.

Sanskar: okay but be careful, I mean from what I saw the other day Ragini didn't seem like the Ragini we all knew

Laksh gets come and walks to the balcony and Sanksar follows him, they both knew it will be a long conversation.

Laksh: Bhai she is not the same, she is different, she is smart, intelligent, carefree, independent, happy, caring, loving and friendly. The way she has built a new life, new friendships new family it's amazing. She is not how she was before, I remember the first I meet her she ws shy, innocent and cared for what other people thought, she agreed to maryy me because her dadi asked her to, she didn't question me or her dadi about anything she just went along.

Sanksar: she seems like such a nice innocent girl he smiled

Laksh: yes she was, she was like an angel. Then I hurt her so many times and people around her started treated her differently and she changed

Sankar had a sad smile on his face because he knew he was the first person who nudged her to become the evil negative person she did turn out later.

Sanskar: it was me Lucky because of me Ragini became the horrible person later on in life, it was all my fault if I didn't tell her to win you then things would have been so different, Ragini would be here with us and she would be with her family and everyone would be happy.

Laksh: I don't bhai she seems happy with her new family, friends and job. Why wouldn't she they have helped her, gave her a family, home, job, love, friendship and everything she always wanted and needed. When she was growing up she didn't get the kinds of love or care she deserved her mum not being there for her made her life hard. Girls need their mums more than anyone and then their husband. Her mum left her when she was young and she was unfortunate to get married to me who didn't give her the love, care, respect or friendship she needed I was a heartless B****** to her.

Sanskar: no lucky you are not the only one responsible for breaking her heart, it was all of us and the situations.

Laksh: you are being nice but I am the person who broke her heart in millions of pieces, broke her soul into many parts and her trust which is important in a relationship, I didn't give her the respect she deserved, you know bhai she loved me so much and cared for me, if anything happened to me not matter how small she was with me always to attend to my needs. ( he remembers her saving from falling in the baadi her taking care of his burnt hand, stopping him from drinking) you know she always use to say I need to care of myself and my health. She didn't want to be drink or smoke then gives a bitter smile. Laksh walks to the edge of the walls and looks at the sky with tears in his eyes. He knows how much he hurt her and he can never forgive himself and he knows Ragini will not forgive me, he doesn't deserve her forgiveness. He needs to be in pain to repent or what he did.

Sanskar: Lucky don't stress yourself and balame yourself for everything it was all of us, you are not the only who hurt so much that she will never forgive any of us and we can't blame her.

Laksh: I know bhai we all hurt her but the way I have hurt her and broken her into pieces it will take a lot of hard work to put her back together as a whole person, she is empty in the inside, I need to do everything in my power to fill up the emptiness inside her bhai. I hope I can I do it bhai it will take a lot of patience and hard work but I am willing to try to help her.

Sanskar: if you are willing to go the extra mile and help Ragini then I know you will succeed just don't give up on her okay, be there for her and be a friend, I think right now she needs you as a friend more than anything else.

Laksh: I will try bhai I don't want to let her down again, I just want to be there for her like I should have been there for her before.

Sanskar: I am happy to hear that lucky I am proud of you smiles and hugs Laksh

Laksh: thank you bhai you are great.

Sanskar: so whats the plan, what are you going to do, don't mess anything up or your task will get harder

Laksh: bhai I got an idea hope it works smiles

Sanskar: if you thought about it and know what you are doing this will be good. Don't be impulsive like you use to be and you will be fine

Laksh: I know bhai my impulsiveness got us in this mess, now its time to grow up and take things slow. With lot of planning and care. This is a delicate situation which has to be handled with care.

Sanskar: I am glad you understand the situation

Laksh: I do bhai and I need to be careful

Sanskar: okay good, I need to go I have some work to do

Laksh: okay thank you bhai, it was nice talking to you smiles

Sanskar: no worries anytime you need anything let me know okay

Laksh: will do thanks, Sanskar walks off with a smile on his face.

Laksh went back inside and sat on his bed there was minutes before he will meet Ragini again he couldn't wait, he was happy but nervous he didn't want to ruin this opportunity. He needed for her to listen to him and agree.

He got up had a shower and got ready to meet Ragini, he wore dark Black jeans with dark blazer and white shirt, fixed his hair, took his sunglasses and car keys and walked out of his room.
