Laskh and Ragini in their room.
Laksh looks at Ragini and "thinks finally I have got what I wanted all this time, you hurt my family and now I have my revenge from you Ragini. Finally I can give the property papers to my dad and make him happy again, you can't hurt them anymore or order my family around, your time is up Ragini."
Laksh: Ragini let's go downstairs I need to share something with everyone and I want you to be there to hear it as well
Ragini: Sure Laksh is it good news?
Laksh: you can decide lets go downstairs first okay (smiles)
Ragini: give me 2 minutes I will be there ( thinking: I know what you want to tell everyone Laksh, you made me sign the papers and want to give it to your family, I knew about your game Laksh you think your smart but I knew what you were doing, but it was a bit late nevertheless I found out)
Ragini has tears in her eyes, she still cannot forget how her husband used her to get her to sign the property papers back to DP's name, she knows what she did was wrong but she did it all for his love. Ragini composes herself and walks downstairs.
Ragini walks out of their room, no Laksh's room and looks downstairs, she can see everyone is sitting there waiting for the big news.
DP, AP, Suajata, Ram, Sanskar, Swara, Uttara, Laksh, Dadi, Sumi, Shekhar and Dada everyone is looking at each to know what is going on.
She knew Laksh wanted to humiliate her in front of everyone but she didn't care anymore none of them can say or do anything to hurt her more than how Laksh has hurt her.
Laksh her husband who she thought was her everything, she did everything to get him, his love and a little bit of respect from him.
Laksh was holding some papers in his hand.
AP: what is it Laksh why did you want us all here, what is going on?
Laksh: Mum you will find out 2 minutes let's wait for Ragini.
Laksh looks up and sees Ragini walking towards them and smiles.
Laksh: so that Ragini is here now, dad please take a look at these papers.
DP: property papers back to the original papers, how did you get them Laksh, I didn't know Ragini was signing them back.
Ragini: I will tell you papaji, Laksh used me, pretended he loved me took our relationship to the next level just so he can get the papers signed by me and throw me out of the house, right Laksh?
Laksh was shocked, he was surprised Ragini knew everything, if she knew then why did she sign papers he was confused.
Ragini: why Laksh why are your surprised, did you think your smart and manipulate me to sign the papers and I wouldn't know about it. I know you don't think much of me Laksh I may not be smart as we you, rich like you or good a lying like you but I knew what you were up to.
Laksh: if you knew then why did you sign the papers Ragini?
Ragini: to make you happy Laksh, to let you win your game, to let be free, so that you can be happy and so you don't have to put up with me anymore. You always said you didn't want to see my face right Laksh I wanted to grant you your happiness, this much I can do for the person I loved and respected as my husband Laksh.
Laksh: how did you know?
Ragini: no-one who hates their wife will change overnight and act as if they love her, after everything you said to me Laksh I knew you must be lying. Ragini is in pain you can tell form looking at her face.
Ragini: You remember Laksh how you said to me even if I am the last person on this earth you can never love me, you will always hate me, I am not worthy of anyone's love, no-one will ever love me. Then one night you came and said you started to care for me etc and came close to me and I lost my senses because I loved you Laksh I would have doen anything for you and you knew that.
Ragini: you used my love for you to get what you wanted , I don't blame you Laksh you did what you thought was right Laksh and you thought about your family. Laksh if you have asked me once just once to sign the papers for you I would have done it for you, If you asked me to give my life for you I would have done it.
Laksh: stop talking rubbish Ragini you are selfish, Self-centred woman who doesn't not think about anyone else but herself and what she wants. Don't you realise how many people you have hurt in the process till now.
Ragini: I did hurt a lot of people Laksh and I did it to get you my love, the person I thought was mine, my husband who meant everything to me. Your family came to my dad to ask for our relationship Laksh I didn't go to you. You broke the engagement because I wasn't good enough for you. You humiliated me in front of everyone one Laksh, that wasn't enough you got engaged to me second time and that to for your selfish reason, you wanted me to look after your brother and I am selfish.
You broked the engagement second time because you loved my sister and I am self-centred Laksh, you didn't think twice about how I will feel.
Swara: Ragini I am sorry I know it was my fault, I shouldn't have come between you both I should have stayed away, then everything would have been okay.
Ragini: Swara remember how you use to say that Laksh loves me and he is a good guy who is right for me, I shouldn't have believe you Swara.
Swara: I am sorry Ragini I thought he loved me.
Ragini: I also remember Swara how you said to dad Laksh is not good and I shouldn't get married to him. I wish I would have listened to you that time, then we wouldn't be in this mess.
Shehkar: Ragini why are you bringng all this up now, it's all done and you are married to Laksh.
Sumi: Ha Ragini there I sno point in bring the past back.
Ragini: it is important dad, I just want to tell about why and how I become what I am today because of the situations and the people around me made me this monster that I am now.
Rgaini: most people here played a part in what I am to this evil, heartless person every thinks I am today. Laksh got engaged to me twice and broke them off, Swara fell in love with the person I loved, Sanskar told me that I should fight for my husband, Sujata Chachi helped me and Sanksar.
Sanskar: I am so sorry Ragini I never wanted to hurt you so much, and I am sorry because of me you started fighting to Laksh and in the process you lost sight of good and bad and you did everything to get married to Laksh.
Sujata was standing quiet she knew what Ragini said was true. Everyone was silent listening to Ragini, they knew Ragini was right they all had a part to play.
Dadi: Laddo forget all this and move on in life
Ragini: move on, move on with what life Dadi ma, you started all this, you used me like an object and didn't even think of my feelings. I have a heart dadi just like everyone else and no-one thought that that it hurt but it does hurt dadi ma, I am a human after all.
Sumi tries to come close to Ragini and comfort her but she backs off he doesn't want sumi to get close to her.
Shehkar: Ragini I am sorry
Ragini: sorry, sorry for what dad? For not being there for me, for not standing up for me when I needed you the most, for not telling dadi ma to stay out of my life, she was the one who got the proposal and you didn't say anything just went along as you do for everything.
Ragini walks towards dada ji and starts telling him some home truths.
Rgaini: Dadaji you never said anything to your wife either, she came here controlled my life and you stayed in baadi and didn't do anything.
Dp: Ragini forget everything no point in talking about all this now.
Ragini: I cannot forget anything papaji, everything and everyone that hurt be will always be in my heart always.
Ragini: Swara I am sorry for everything I have done to you and hurt you so many ways, AP I know I hurt you in many ways but I didn't that to hurt Laksh, Chachaji I know you don't like Swara but please accept her as Sanskars wife she is a great human being and she will make everyone here happy. Laksh and everyone just stare at Ragini hearing this.
Swara: Ragini
Ragin: no Swara I will talk today and say my piece before everything is over
Ragini: Sanskar keep Swara happy and everyone else here, you are the sensible one make the correct decision, try not to neglect or hurt anyone.
Ragini walks over to Aadesh and Parineeta, says you both be there for each other, help each other, understand each other and always trust each other, don't every break the trust, because trust is important in any relationship.
Ragini walks over to DP and AP, I am sorry for everything I have done, I always wanted to me a good wife, and daughter in law but I guess it wasn't meant to be. We don't get what we want.
Ragini : Uttara never support anyone if you know they are doing the wrong thing, always try to be good and do what is best for you okay
Everyone just looking at Ragini and thinking why is she saying all these
Ragini turns to Laksh, so Mr Laksh Maheswari, are you happy today, don't answer that I know you must be ecstatic right. I got something to make you the happiest person alive. Ragini takes out some papers and hands them over to Laksh.
Laksh reads the papers and is shocked, looks a Ragini with lots of question but he can't speak he doesn't know what to say.
Ragini: Mr Mahewari you are shocked, confused, surprised.
Swara: what papers are they Laksh, he doesn't answer and Swara take the papers from him.
Ragini: they are divorce papers, mine and Laksh's divorce papers. Laksh always wanted me to sign them and I said I always wanted to me Mrs Ragini Laksh Maheswari but when Laksh cheated me and did everything he wanted to just for the property papers, I knew there was no hope for this relationship and Laksh will never love me, respect me or accept me as his wife, therefore I signed the divorce papers, there is no point in tying him down in a relationship which means nothing to him.
Shehkar: what are you saying Ragini?
Ragini: the truth papa, Laksh never wanted me in his life and it took me a year to realise that you cannot force anyone to love you.
Ragini walks towards Laksh, she takes the bangles, necklace, earrings, headpieces and leaves it on the table next to him. She takes the mangle-sutra off and puts it in Laksh's hand, Laksh this mangle-sutra does not belong to me and never has, keep it and give it to someone you love, respect and make your wife. Remember one thing Laksh women are strong but odnt play with their feelings.
Ragini: Laksh remember I wanted you to put the sindoor on but you made an excuse, now I know why. She closes her eyes and wipes the sindoor form her forehead leave in black now. Laksh looks on not being able to speak to say anything he doesn't know how he feels, happy, sad, excited, free, lonely, guilty. Everyone is shocked with what Ragini is saying and doing. She has no sign oof being a married women.
Ragini: Laksh I always loved you, I never wanted your property, business or money, all I wanted was your love. I am sorry for coming into your life and making you suffer, if you can forgive me. Laksh stands there not being able to move.
Ragini: walks away from him, stands in front of everyone fold her hands and asks them to all forgive her for everything she did and for the pain she caused them. She walks off with her head held high.
