After Laksh left she sat on the chair to compose herself, she was trembling a bit because of the way Laksh came close to her. She had a bitter smile on her face, she laughed at her life, there was a time she would have done anything for Laksh to come close to her and make her feel special, she wanted his attention and now all she couldn't bear to have him close to her at all. How her life had taken a 360 degree turn it was laughable.

Ragini was home it was Sunday, no work she wanted to relax and do nothing, she wanted to spend time with Angel, go shopping, get a massage and have her own time. She didn't have time to herself she has been really busy. She woke up late, had breakfast. Took Angel and went to the park she played with Angel, they both had ice cream. After they came home, had lunch Ragini decided to go to the parlour she wanted to pamper herself. It was a sunny day she drove, with the windows down, sunglasses on, listening to music her hair was flying with the wind.

Ragini stopped at the traffic light she was looking ahead, on the other direction Laksh was in his car he saw Ragini was lost in her beauty, he couldn't believe it was her he thought it was one of his imagination but it was her. They went past each other Ragini didn't see him.

Ragini went shopping with her friend Priya and Anjali, they were talking laughing, both her friends wanted to set her up with someone but she said no, they know bits and pieces of her past but not everything, she didn't feel comfortable telling them, maybe she will tell them when she felt more comfortable and she knew she was ready to talk about it to them. On another table Swara was there with Sanskar, Laksh, Uttara, Pari and Aadarsh. Pari saw Ragini and told the others they all looked at her, they were amazed to see her with friends, they never actually saw her with any friends and thought she found it hard to make friends, they know that she never had the chance to make friends before but now she had a life where she can do what she wants without asking anyone's permission they know the Chopra's love her and know what is best for Ragini unlike them.

Ragini got a call on her phone it was Nandini, Ragini excused herself and went in a small quiet place outside to take the call, Laksh saw her and he followed her.

Ragini: haan bhabhi, wassup, is everything okay?

Nandini: yes Ragini everything is fine, just wanted to ask you when you will be home, mum wanted as to go to the mandir and if you wanted to go as well.

Ragini: Bhabhi you all go I will be a bit late, you know how it is when I am with Priya and Anjali, when are you guys likely to be back?

Nandini: maybe around 11 or 12 after the visiting the mandir, we will go and see one of mums friends, are you going to be alone home? Both Rohan and Simi are out as well.

Ragini: Bhabhi I will be fine and you guys go, anyway you guys will be back by 11 it's all good. See you late

Nandini: see you, take care, drive safe, bye

Ragini: bhabhi come on I always drive safe.

Laksh heard an walked back in. Ragini went and sat with her friends, it was 09:30 she took leave and left she wanted to get home by 10:00. Laksh saw her and followed her just to make sure she would be okay, since he heard the phone conversation and knew she would be alone.

Ragini went home, went inside the house changed into shorts and a t-shirts getting ready for bed, then she heard the door bell, she got scared who could it be so late when no one was home. She put her robe on and went to open the door, she looked through the hole and saw it was Laksh,.

Ragini: what is Laksh doing here? how did he know where I live? What is he doing here at this hour?

Laksh: Ragini it's Laksh open the door, I know you are in there and alone.

Ragini: What how does he know I am alone? She opened the door she was angry was he following her, how dare he , who does he think he is and what does he want.

Ragini: Mr Maheswari what are you doing here, how did you know I live here, how do you know I am alone at home? Are you following me? What the hell is your problem? Why are you following me?

Laksh: came in closed the door behind them, Laksh, only Laksh, I came to make sure you were okay, I know followed you so I know where you live, I followed you because I heard your conversation outside the restaurant and you were talking to bhabhi you said you will be alone and they will be back late. I am following you because you are my wife and I care about you, I want to make sure you are alright.

Ragini: ex-wife remember we are divorced, I gave everything you what you wanted, your property, money, divorce, your family, my family, your freedom and your happiness, why are you here what do you want from me, I don't have anything to five to you, you have taken everything I had, tears fall from her eyes and she turns around she doesn't want him to see her tears or fall weak in front of him. Then she turned and faced him again, looked at his eyes.

Ragini: I don't have anything for anyone, nothing it almost a whisper. You want make sure I am okay, you did that when you used me and threw me out of your house, your life and humiliated me in front of our families. What else do you want, you say I am your wife that is the biggest joke of my life, when I wanted you, needed you, craved for you where were you Mr husband huh, you didn't want to know me then. You used me like a piece of material and spat me out ( Laksh closed his eyes tears were flowing from his eyes he knew how much he hurt her)

Laksh: (came towards her and tried to hold her, but Ragini backed away) Ragini I don't know what to say or how to say anything to make you feel any better, I am ashamed of what I did and I cannot forgive myself ever as long as I live, but I became blind in revenge that I just wanted to give my dad back his property. I am sorry I couldn't think of anything, I know you hurt me by using whats most important to me my family, so I used what's most important to you which was your love for me.

Ragini: If you wanted me to give you the papers you could have asked me once, just once Mr Masheswari and I would have given them back to you, worst thing is if you asked me to jump off a clip for you I would have done it I was blinded in your love. You knew that full well and used that to get rid of me forever, you killed me. I am alive, living, breathing, eating, laughing, joking but in here (she pointed at her heart) there is nothing it's a shallow empty space you gave me and nothing can change that ever. But you know what I should thank you for that you gave me a lesson in life and I am better than I ever was and I will be better.

Ragini: now I am me not the same person who was you wife, the daughter dadi, dadaji, dad had to protect from the world, they were too over protective which is why I saw shy, innocent too traditional for you and you didn't like me. You wanted the girl who was good, who spoke out who was like you. I am better now because I don't need a man in my life to be happy, I wish you realised that before I wouldn't have wasted your time and my time. I am glad you killed the Ragini and made me this new Ragini, I like this new Ragini.

Laksh: I don't mind the new Ragini, but the old Ragini was pretty good, it took me sometime to realise but I did. He was serious and looking onto her eyes when she spoke.

Ragini: laughed out loud, life is strange isn't, when you had the old Ragini you didn't like her, but now that she is dead you like her, why is it you always want something which you cannot have?

Laksh: the old Ragini, my Ragini, the Ragini who I married is still there and I will bring her back, you can't stop me.

Ragini: let me give you a piece of advice for free Mr Maheswari I won't repeat myself again, the old Ragini is DEAD, things that die don't come back, i know ask me, when I was all alone at the MM I cried for my mum to help me but she never came to help me. Anyways no point on talking about that you should leave.

Laksh: please please stop with Mr Maheswari I am Laksh, your Laksh the one you love, cared for, would have done anything for you did everything in your to get me and now you are behaving like this?

Ragini: behaving like what Mr Maheswari?

Laksh: indifferent, distant, like a stranger

Ragini: you being here right now doent make a difference to me, we are distant we have been for some-time now and you are a stranger to me

Laksh: we are NOT strangers, we are married, we are husband and wife

Ragini: did you hit your head on something, you are forgetting I gave you the divorce papers, the manglesutra and wiped the sindoor of which was a symbol of being married.

Laksh: I didn't sign the divorce papers, and is this the manglesutra you are talking about (he took it out of his pocket)

Ragini was shocked, why didn't he sign the papers, why does he have the mangle sutra with him, she was numb couldn't talk or say anything. Laksh went close to her held her should and said I am still yours Ragini, I don't want a divorce, I realised my mistake after you left I shouldn't have done what I did I am so sorry, please please forgive me, please I am dying every day without you, when I saw you the other day it made me think maybe god is giving us another chance. I need to pay for what I did to you, please say something do something, punish me but don't stay quiet.

Ragini ( pushed him ) me punish you why so I need to punish you Mr Maheswari, I mean what did you do wrong nothing right, I was the one who did horrible things to get you get and look what happened, you did what you had to get what is yours, business house etc. I can't punish someone for wanting what is his and I did terrible things as well. Go and leave your life, find someone who you love who you respect, who you will be happy with, whose face you want to see everyone morning and a night. Be happy, don't come near me, stay away from me and my family. I don't want to see you again.

Laksh: you want me to be happy, yet you want me to stay away from you. You want me to find someone who will love me, someone who will make me happy, someone whose face I want to see all the time yet you are walking away from me. I can I be happy without you Ragini, he was crying and he was on his knees she looked at him.

Ragini: laughs out loud, this is really funny, I don't know what to say, you remember how you told me you never want to see my face, you wanted me to leave you and your family, you said even if I was the last person you would not want me, then what are you talking about? She wlaks around him, oh I know are you sad that I am still alive, is that it, you want to kill me is that all you want Laksh, because you cannot bear to see me alive and happy. You want me to be miserable and be the shy, self-loathing person who feels sorry for myself. Are you playing another game here to get me to go back to and finish this game off my doing one thing you can and kill me. Laksh looks at her surprised, shocked, speechless how can she think that, did he kill her so much from the inside that she cannot see anything from him beyond the devil he was when he wanted revenge from her. What can he do to make her realise that he is not the devil anymore, he has changed and he will not hurt her again he got up and held her and forced her to look at him, she winced when he held her and dragged her to the door, she didn't like how he was trying to come close to her and break the barriers she had created for herself to never ever let a guy come close to her again no matter who he is. She has been seeing a doctor to help her get through this but it is not helping her because she is the one who never wants to break the barrier.

The doctor did say she has to let the barriers fall or she will always be like that nothing and no-one can help her unless she wants to help herself, truth is she didn't want anyone to get close to her she is fine by herself. She only went to the doctors because she was scared when Ram, Rahul or Rohan came close to her then they realised she had a problem because she was okay with Jaya, Nandidim Simi and Angel hugging her etc she was scared of the t first but got easier with time but when the men she never let them shake hands or hug her. She only went because they all forced her to go and she was happy it did help her now she was happy with the 3 most important men in her life.

Laksh notice how every tie he tried to get close or touch her she doent like it, he was wondering what happened why is she like this, the women woman who wanted him and his touch why was she behaving like this.

Ragini: she looked straight ahead on the wall behind Laksh and she said please leave me alone, don't try to come close to me.

Laksh: look at me and tell me this and why are you always so scared when I touch you, the day you were okay when the Rohan was hugging you, holding you hand.

Ragini: you did this to me you made me like this, because of you I am like this Mr Maheswari, are you happy?

Laksh: I did this, what did I do?

Ragini: oh you did nothing just physically abused me, used me and scarred me for life all because you wanted your property that's all nothing else. Because of you I cannot let any men come close to you, because of you I have to be careful around people, because of you I have to see a therapist, , because of you it took me days, weeks and months to get close to the people who love me now baba, Bhaiyya and Rohan. This family I have now did everything to make me happy, to make me as normal as possible, they helped me over me fears and live in this world, they helped me become stronger and better. This family loves me, cares for me, respects me and my decision which I never got in life until th day I met them, the funny things I didn't have to cry to them for that or play games for that.

Laksh was dumbfounded, he did this, because of him she is like this, she is scared, closed up. What did he do, he knew he has hurt her but didn't know to this extent. How could he be such an animal, she did horrific things but what he did was unforgivable.
