First I want to say thank you to everyone for reading it and for your comments, very much appreciated, thank you all for taking your precious time.

I am overwhelmed with the response. Thank you Radha for the motivation to start this, Also thank Radha and CK for encouraging me to post it, you are both sweet

Again didn't get time to proof read it hope its not too bad, I know there are mistakes but hoping not too many, please read it and let me know what you guys think, any ideas are welcome as well. fingers crossed you all like it and I hope I dont disappoint you all. Thank you lovely people.

Part 2:

Three months later.

Chopra mansion, a woman is doing the Morning Prayer, her family standing with her. The mum of the family, her husband, 2 sons, elder daughter in law, daughter, a female and little girl all are standing behind her hands folded.

Mum: Jaya Chopra, strict but has a heart of gold

Dad: Ram Chopra, fun loving and a gentlemen

Elder son: Rahul Chopra, 30 years, caring and understanding a doctor

Elder in law: Nandini, 28 years, junior doctor , helpful lovely woman

Younger son: Rohan Chopra, 25 years, mischievous, carefree but loves his family and friends

Daughter: Simi Chopra, 23 years, student wants to be a doctor

Servant: Kamla, she has been working for the Chopras for a long time

Young Girl: Angel, 6 years old, Rahul and Nandini's daughter, cute, sweet, innocent she is the Angel of the family.

Jaya gives everyone the Prasad, she tells everyone to go and get ready for breakfast. Her husband is happy, they are a happy family, who love, adore, respect and trust each other. They believe in starting the day with each other and finishing the day having dinner together.

The mum and dad are the pillar of the house, they have been in love since their college days they have been through good times and bad but always stick together, they try to teach their kids the value of life, family, friends. They want their kids to understand people and their situation. They want their kids to adopt with situation and help people out where they can.

Everyone is at the breakfast table, waiting for their food they are talking laughing and joking. They all look at the young woman Ragini, she is sitting there in her chair quiet not talking to anyone. She is listening to everyone, observing them, their little jokes, fight, laughs. There was never a time in her life that her family before or after marriage all sat together and had fun like this.

When she was in the baadi it was different dad and dada will eat first and dadi and her will eat later, they never sat together and talked about their day ahead or what they watched or want to do etc.

When she was in the Maheswari Mansion, again the guys would eat first woman would serve them, everyone quiet, no interaction on the breakfast or dinner table. They only talked if it was necessary business or something important.

In this house everyone is treated equal, they all sit together, eat together, talk, go out together. They were a one big happy family which she never seen before. They all like each other there is no planning, plotting against one another. She was happy for them and prayed they always stay happy. She was grateful to them for letting her stay in their house and making her feel like a part of the family.

She does feel like she is part of their family, Jaya and Ram are like her parents she respect them and values their opinions, she has become friends with Nandini and Simi, she gets on well with Rahul who is like an older brother, she always wanted a brother and she has one now. Rohan is the best friend she never had who she can talk to about anything and everything just like she can with Nandini and Simi.

Angel now what can we say about her she is the angel, she is the darling of the family everyone loves her and spoils her. She is young but very mature, she understands people and if Ragini is upset she tries to cheer her up, she is the heart and soul of their family.

Jaya: Ragini beta what's wrong, why are you sitting there so quiet is everything okay?

Rahul: Haan Ragini you okay?

Nandini: Ragini do you need anything?

Rohan: everyone enough with the questions let her speak

Simi: Bhai is right let her talk

Ram: she can talk if you 2 stop blabbing on

Angel: * hits her fore head with her tiny hands* Ragini didi tell me what's wrong?

Ragini: Nothing my sweet angel I am happy to see you all talking, laughing that's all.

Ragini: everyone I am fine just happy to be here and part of this family, now everyone eat we all have places to be, Angel you have to go to school. Nandini Bhabhi and Rahul Bhaiya you both have to go to the hospital remember you have jobs. Simi you need to go to uni so hurry up. Rohan and I should head to the hospital soon right, we don't want to be late for the presentation, its important especially since the client is foreign.

Rohan: dad are you coming to the hospital with me and Ragini, if you don't want to and spend time with mum it's okay we will manage (has a huge grin on his face)

Ram: very funny no I will be there, I know Ragini will be okay but not sure about you, both Ragini and I will need to be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. God forbid you fall asleep in front of the clients.

Rohan: Dad that happened once and it was not my fault the presentation was sooo boring even you were nodding off I mean the guy he spoke 5 words in 5 minutes, and dad please stopping the incident in every conversation you know I am hardworking, reliable, honest and dedicate to my job.

Ram: yes I will believe that when I see it myself (they all laugh), Rohan this hospital is my dream, I did my best to make sure it has all the facilities which can help people who need medical help. Now I want you all Rahul, Nandini, Rohan, Ragini and Simi to make sure it is successful and make it bigger and better. I want us to help as many people as we can.

They all have their breakfast go to their rooms to get ready for the day ahead. Rahul, Nandini take Simi with them they will drop her off to uni before going to the hospital. Ram, Ragini and Rohan leave later since their presentation starts later. Ram and Rohan are waiting for Ragini, she comes down wearing heels, business suit, hair in a sleep ponytail, dud earrings, has a hand bag and file in her hand. They all say bye to Jaya and leave.

Rohan and Ragini are going through the presentation to make sure everything is good. Ram is watching them he knows they make a great team and overcome any situation together. They clients arrive they do the presentation everything goes well and everyone is happy. They have lunch and take care of other duties. Rahul and Nandini have a busy day as well.

18:30 everyone is home after a very long day, everyone is sitting down having snack talking about the day how the presentation went well, Nandini, Rahul and Jaya are happy to hear the news.

Ram: I want to say something and I need all your honest opinions please. I want to open a home for woman who need help young, old, married, unmarried, widow, divorced or whatever, I want to do something to make woman safe and help them overcome difficulties in life no matter what their situation is.

Jaya: that is a great idea, I think you should go ahead, what kids what do you all think?

Rahul: Mum I agree with you, dad that is a brilliant idea. Rohan, Simi, Ragini, Nandini what do you guys think?

Nandini: dad is right we should help people where we can

Simi: I agree with you all and I will try to help as much as I can

Everyone looks at Ragini for her opinion, she looks at them and smiles.

Ragini: Papa I think you are awesome this is a great idea, only you could think of helping people after the way you all helped me when I was alone, had nowhere to go or no one to turn to, I know you will a marvellous job.

Flask back, 3 months ago.

Ragini left the MM was walking along the road didn't know where to go or what to do, she had a family in fact she had two families but she cannot go back to them ever. She doesn't want to hurt them anymore than she already has or make them suffer because of her. She knows Shehkar and Sumi must be embarrassed to call her their daughter. Dadi and Dadji they must be glad she is gone to them their respect in the community and baadi means everything to them. Swara she will be happy with the Maheswaris, none of them will miss her especially Laksh he must be glad she is gone he doesn't have to tolerate her any more or see her face every day.

She remembers how he use to tell her he doesn't want to see her face, her presence makes him feel sick, she has a bitter smile on her face. What she was a year ago and what has she become now.

She was walking and can see a little girl is trying to cross the road, she then looks on the road and sees a car coming toward the girl and she is starting to walk on without seeing the car. Ragini runs and saves the girl and gets cuts and bruises.

The Girls looks at Ragini and says thank you didi, sorry I looked but didn't see the car it came too fast. The girl gives her hand to Ragini to get up from the floor. The parents come running to see if they daughter was okay.

Rahul: Angel we told you do not cross the road without an adult we were coming why did you start walking?

Nandini: are you okay darling, did you hurt yourself, let me see?

Angel: mum I am fine, didi saved me on time but she got hurt.

Nandini: thank you so much for saving my daughter you are a saviour, OMG you got cuts on your hand, Rahul please take her to the hospital and check her out. I will take Angel home okay. Sorry what's your name?

Ragini: Ragini

Angel: Didi you have a lovely name

Ragini: thank you, but your name is nicer Angel it suits you perfectly.

Angel: thank you didi

Rahul: Nandini you both go home and I will come later after checking Ragini okay

Nandini: yes fine see you later, she takes Angel and leaves

Rahul: Ragini lets go my car is over there, the hospital is 10 mins driver from here

Ragini follows him to the car.

Ragini: I will be fine it small cuts and bruises.

Rahul: don't say no to me I am a daughter, Nandini my wife is a junior doctor. There was a conference to we had to give a presentation we leave in Mumbai. Angel our daughter she had holiday so we thought it will be nice family break for few days. Angel is a good child but can be naughty see how she started crossing the road without wait for me or Nandini.

Ragini: she is a kid, she will learn with time.

Rahul and Ragini go to the hospital, he checks her out and she has few bandages.

Rahul: Shall I call anyone for you or do you want me to give you a lift. Where do you live can't be far right?

Ragini doesn't know how to answer his questions and tears fall form her eyes, Rahul looks at her and thinks something must have happened that's why she is crying.

Rahul: you okay Ragini, what wrong did something happen to your family?

Ragini: I don't have anyone, I don't have anywhere to go. She starts crying (thinking its best she doesn't tell him about her family what is the point they will not want to see her)

Rahul: don't say that it's okay, everything will be alright. I have an idea why don't you come with me, Nandini and Angel to our house?

Raigini is shocked, she doesn't know what to say is she ready to go to Mumbai? Leave her family behind forever? Will she be okay by herself this is the first time she is all alone.

Rahul: Ragini what are you thinking about, I have a mum, dad, brother, sister and few other people in her hours. You will like it, you can stay there for few days if you don't like it. I will help you find a place and job. This is the least I can do after you saved my Angel's life.

Ragini: okay, can I call you Rahul Bhaiya I can't call you by your name.

Rahul: smiles of course you can, from today you are my younger sister okay.

Both smile and walk out of the hospital, Rahul explains everything to Nandini and Angel, they are both happy to take Ragini with them.

They are in Mumbai in their house, they walk in Nandini takes Ragini to the guest room Angel follows them. Rahul goes you talk to his parents about Ragini and the arrangement.

After 10/15 minutes Rahul, Ram and Jaya come to the guest to meet Ragini, she takes their blessing and tell her she can stay with them as long as she wants and if she calls Rahul their bhai then they are her parents.
