The cvs have really spoiled Ragini's character. The very essence of her character is lost in this present track.
I am SwaSan fan but Ragini and Sanskaar were my favourite characters. Both their characters have a bit of grey in them making them more realistic than the mahaans on the show. But now Ragini's character is totally butchered. She has become nothibg but a vamp.
Initially Ragini was the character I could connect to the most. She has been brought up as an only child in a very strict household. Though she is loved a lot she never had the privilege of choosing or livng her life as she wishes. She has grown up without a mother figure. Though Dadimaa loves her a lot their relationship is not one of friendship unlike the one Swara shares with Shomi and Dida. She doesnt have many friends either. So she basically lives in her shell. But even then she has a mind of her own. Though she does what sje is told she knows the difference between right and wrong. Despite her Dadi's fights with Dida she is always friendly to Swara and respects her mom.
Into this world of hers steps in Lakshya Maheshwari. She is told that he will be her life partner and she falls in love with him or atleast her idea of him. She has no idea of his lack of interest in her. She accepts him as her life partner without knowing him as thats what she is told. Then comes the drama involvng Swara being her sister. For the sake of truth she gathers courage to tell Dp the truth. As result her engagement is at the verge of breaking.
What Ragino does is indeed great. She accepts Sharmishta as her mother despite having no relation with her. And its not for namesake. She loves her with all her heart. She wishes to see her father happy at the risk of losing her happiness. Despite her love for Lakshya she breaks off her engagement. Her mission is now to unite her Ma Baba. But once again Lakshya comes back into her life. She starts loving him more while he falls for her sister. Then she learns that he doesnt want to marry her. Once again she is heartbroken.
Once again Lakshya decides to marry her for the sake of Sanskaar. Again she beleives he loves her only to be told that he loves her sister.
Now blinded in love Ragini decides to get Lakshya at the cost of losing her goodness. With Sankaar's help she sets out to get hrr love knowing all the while that her methods are wrong. She is blinded by her misguided love. She is not happy with her actions but under compusion due to her feelings. And when she is all set on getting her love Sanskaar steps back. She is left alone in the middle of a fight. Unwilking to lose her love yet again, this tome forever sge commits a heinous crime. She pushes hr sister into a river. Then she fets married to him at the expense of breakng the very relation of her Ma Baba she had fought for.
She doesnt enjoy a moment of peace. She doesnt celebrate her victory. She is now in a constant fear. Her sister with her former ally Sanskaar on her side enters the house as her jethani. She cannot risk being exposed.she has risked everything in this battle and cannot retreat. The moment she surrenders she would lose her husband , family, respect and wverything that mattered. So she fights back. Ragini unlike normal vamps does not enjoy hr victory even once. She is constantly looking out for the next trou le coming her way. Then she is exposed. She has lost everything.
Somewhere I expected her redemption track after this but the cvs have spiiled her charavcter henceforth. Her efforts to prove Swara characteless was bearable but this present track
Why is Ragini ill treating everyone for Lakshya's mistake? Even when Uttara tells her that she kidnapoed her out of hatred she says its because of her own doing. Then why all this when she knows its Lakshya? Lakshya suffered a lot vecause of her. Then again while earlier she was fighting Swara now she does not care for anyone. She has crossed the Rubicon. Will she ever be forgiven for all this?
Will the Maheshwaris ever have her vack? Will she ever vecone the girl she once was?
