sanky seems really cut up about their trust issues and cannot believe that she will fall in love so suddenly...but I can't buy that he believed she would demand alimony from him.

If someone one day wanted to hand me over to the police..and the next day realised that they love me--and won't leave me after spurning my advances for so long--i would be gun-shy too

If I was Swara I would concentrate on asking him out on dates and woo him before doing jassosi on atariya aunty. I mean businessman hain--loophole dhoondke he will overthrow rags by himself only without ur help. 😡one day she cries her heart out begging for his love--and the next day she is babbling about her nonsense mission. Poor sanky confused ho gaya ki wife pyaar karti hai--attention degi mujhe ya nahi.

Have only watched swasan scenes from Asha122's links...so whatever of the track I could jigsaw was this. of course divorce papers got signed somehow..no idea why or how😕---n even without submission to the court they have confirmed alimony claims😆.

Indian law ki toh ---and don't even get me started on biz laws. I lectured Viji on how mm waasis are an HUF--the only way rags can have so much kabza over everything.

I am gonna check out a few of these mahabharat works...its my favourite epic. I hate ramayana...never got why ram-sita ki jodi was supposed to be so auspicious.😕. spent half their lives in forest..bride got kidnapped..got her back--and insulted her with agnipareeksha--and finally after having twin sons..the wife got insulted again and committed suicide of sorts. YIKES!😡

I read your detailed comment explaining the whole HUF & karta & stuff on Viji's story😆 But tell me something, they had shown that Karna had grown even larger than Maheswaris, then can a larger company be bought out by a smaller company? And if yes, then toh Sunny ka share max hoga usmein...this chor buddha just handed it over to Ragini then😡😡😡

MBH is my all time fav. I loved the old B R Chopra MBH like anything! Ramayan yes, even I dont understand when women pray for a husband like Ram😆 why would any woman want such a man in her life is beyond me😆

When a company merges with another--and the name changes, which in this case it has --to maheshwari karma nad sons..means the goodwill of karma has been bought by maheshwaris---and the assets taken over, in excahnge of a pretty majority of shares. Say he is issued 10lakh shares of rs. 100 each..in exchange of his company's net assets of 10cr. he will not have to buy the shares like the other shareholders do. its paid to him. if the name does not change then they have paid him off for the goodwill--and its no longer a part of the new company's balance sheet--this is called acquisition or buy out. they would then pay him some cash and maybe issue a minority of shares. Since karma is a bigger co. this would not be.

If at all they were companies...DP would have only been able to give up his shares and maybe his sons'. RP and sanky would and could make cases saying they were not at all bound to give up their shares. Thereby rags could never have had complete control over the company or the household.

If they were partnership as Viji wrote--then they would have to change the entire partnership deed--and admit Ragini. That is hardly going to give her the right to control who spends what amount in the house like she has been😡. A partnership it certainly is not.

The amount of control she got by only DP's signature is possible if and only if Maheshwaris are an HUF who have DP as their Karta(now taken over by rags)..and they had merged with Karma...offering sanky co-parcenary, maybe a majority in the profits and some money as consideration. However he was not the Karta. He would still come under control of ragini as a coparcener--but if there is an agreement that he has to bet a share in the profits as per the terms of the merger---he would get it. Which explains why he was able to give DP money to pay the servants.😳The other members of the family will only get a maintenance(which is compulsory for the karta to do).Of course, he could anytime get a partition...and if there is enough evidence of the members' mistreatment--they would make a case against the karta for misfeasance.But Ragini as a member of MM would be entirely entitled to have power of attorney which they signed and she will blackmail DP so he cannot overrule her as the functioning karta. an HUF can be dissolved if the full partition happens.

In real life no guy would ever do this like sanky..because its like letting go of your empire for a bunch of money..and a portion in the HUF profits.🤢HUFs get dismantled because all working members want to have their own shares...and they convert into partnerships often enough.
