Saku dear...sorry for the short reply as I am working on part 3 of my TS and looks like a long, sleepless night ahead. 😕 But I couldn't resist commenting on this mini os series, seeing as how they fit into the IK--SQ universe, which I absolutely adore. You have made me a fan of winters...which I never used to be. 😆

Coming to these 3, I particularly liked no. 4 and 6. The rapport between Sanskaar and Swara (Sorry, I chose to ignore Lakshya...cant help it...) 😛 was awesome. There seem to be clear signs, even in those bygone days, of the stirrings of something more than friendship between them. Such a pity they had to undergo so much pain and sorrow before rediscovering that.

But then, as they say, that love is the sweetest which has faced it's share of travails and challenges. 😊

Have a lovely Saturday evening Saku. 🤗 I hope to have Raag Todi up by tomorrow. Shall PM you.

BTW I went through the preview of Icarus with great interest. I am familiar with the legend, am eagerly looking forward to chapter 1.

Totally loved all the updates. They were all Marvelously cute .

Loved Sanskar's dialogue of that was a pen and this is shona immensely.

oh so sweet...sanskar was planning her birthday surprise and that is why he missed the rehearsal...swara is jealous already hahaha...possessive of Sanskar, and yet despite saying the musketeers stick together, she didnt realise that Laksh was missing too! nicely put

Part 5

ohhh! you followed a possessive Swara with a protective and possessive sanskar. I am liking it!! He wanted to break Laksh's nose because Swara got hurt when he went cycling with her, and didnt take proper care of her. Oh I loved how he said, that was a pen and this is Shona. I guess he meant, "my Shona' hahaha

Part 6

you are on a roll girl. "I am in love with your queen, just wanted to see her" 😳 😆..."I love your queen, she is mine" ...seems he was not just showing he loved to win and knew chess really well, he was telling her he looovvved her queen...hmmm considering she was one of the snow queens, i guess he also meant her 😳

loved all three of them...looking forward to more of these and the first part of Icarus as well

All 3 OS super cute. ... 4 and 5 was adorable. ..6 i didnt quite get the chess part as not a fan of it ... but the swasan interaction is quite beautifully shown. ..loved them

I am late again but here I am! I haven't forgotten Phoenix but those type of stories need un-diverted attention and I will get to that properly:)

OS 2:

Really liked this too. It was painful but realistic to see how Swara is almost compelled to seek her father and despite the insults she meets there is rooted. It is redolent in many ways of the Swara we see but feels more natural here. Loved Sanskaar's protective instincts and clear stand he takes for Swara- again, totally what we expect but lovely to read! Am off to read the 3rd one now (gone 12.15 am 😆).

OS 3:

This is the perfect SwaSan chapter- brings home so clearly why these two are soul mates. I loved the absolute accord with each other they have and how the masks can slip to nothingness with each other. The conversation and Sanskaar's way of mitigating her pain was so effective. I could feel Swara's pain and the answering echo of it in Sanskaar. I also liked the questions game, said so much so powerfully especially the fears and the deepest longings. Also the subtle way Swara's growing awareness of Sanskaar now coming to the front was nicely done. Really enjoyed this one too Saku.

Parts 4, 5, 6:

These were totally adorable and heart warming and made me miss IK/ SQ again. Loved the interaction between SwaSan of course but actually even Lakshya in 4 made me laugh with the way he stupidly let the cat out of the bag for the party! Sanskaar in all 3 is so suave even at that age, which is so appealing. I love the whole dynamic of how he still "allows" Swara to bully him. I had a friendship in my late teens with one of my best friends a little like that- (we weren't romantically involved!!) but I got away with murder with him and he let me boss him around when no one else could, this made me quite nostalgic as of course at that age, I never even realised it 😊. I also enjoyed in particular the way Sanskaar was so angry that Lakshya had hurt Swara, nice foreshadowing there. The chess game made me remember Medha's piece Black and White again and miss her but I always love chess analogies and descriptions. These have all been such a delight.
