Loved the update naina chechi. So sanskar dnt like swara talking with someone even laksh. So the function got over n when they both were talking laksh interrupted n took her with him.sanskar dnt like tat. N he was angry with her. After the next day function he left n swara went behind him. She too went behind him n when they entered study room he locked the door and both wer talking. When she was telling tat she love laksh he got angry. Finally he confessed his love to swara. Wat ll happen nw. Hw swasan gng to unite hope here kavitha ll b gud n she will understand his love for swara.

My net connection has become really slow, and it takes a lot of time to reply individually to your comments.. I know that you all are waiting for my next update and so I don't want to be late in posting it..So I am going to post it directly..
I have read each and every comment and I just loved them all..Thank you sooo much everyone 🤗for reading the previous update and I appreciate all your likes and comments, wholeheartedly..

Sa: I love you..
Swara's eyes opened in shock and she stared at him unbelievably. She was finding difficult to register the words he just uttered.
Sw: Kya..?
Sa: Haan, Swara..I love you..!
Sw: (worried voice) Par Kavita M'am aur aap toh shaadi karne waale hain na..?
Sa: (a bit loudly) Par main tumse pyaar karta hoon, Swara..!
Swara was finding it difficult to breathe and she just blurted out, feeling frantic.
Sw:(some more bit loudly than him) Par yeh sahi nahin hain..Aap aur main..Kabhi ek nahin ho sakte..!
Swara just turned around and opened the door quickly.
Sa: Swara, listen to me..!
Sw: Nahin..Mr.Maheshwari..Main jaa rahi hoon..!
Swara didn't stop to listen to him and she just ran away from there. Sanskaar was totally frustrated with her behaviour, and he clenched his fists with anger.
Sa: Swara..Tum mujhse nahin bhaag rahi ho..Khud ke feelings se bhaag rahi ho tum..! (lets out a deep sigh and turns away from the door) Yeh tumhari galat faimi hain ki tum uss Lakshya se pyaar karti ho..(frowns) ya phir shaayad tum mujhse jhoot bol rahi ho, taaki main tumse door chalaa jaaoon..But, don't worry at all, Swara..I know that you love me..I can feel it..Now let's see, tum mujhse aur tumhaari feelings se kitni door bhaag sakti ho..? (smirks)

Swara was standing against the closed door of her room, and she was panting heavily. She closed her eyes and whispered his name.
Sw: Sanskaar..!!
She was really amazed by how she was able to address him now with his first name, even if she was accustomed to calling him as "Mr. Maheshwari". She opened her eyes and tried to control her heaving breaths. Then she went towards her bed and sat down on it. She was really shocked by the turn of events. Mr. Maheshwari just professed his love to her, and she was finding it difficult to believe.
Sw: But how can he love me..! He is engaged to Kavita M'am..How sweet she is..! and she loves him more than anything else in this world..I have seen it in her eyes..How can he even break her trust..?!
Swara let out a long deep sigh and bent her face forward into her open palms. Then she slowly raised her head and her gaze turned into a determined one.
Sw: I cannot let Kavita M'am suffer..I know that I am being attracted to Mr.Maheshwari for no reason at all..There is no future to our relationship..I can control my feelings, it's just pure infatuation..I have loved only Lakshya, that too right from my teenage days..I have to confess my feelings to him as soon as possible, in order to evade this distraction in the form of Mr. Sanskaar Maheshwari..
Feeling even more determined than before, Swara got up from her bed and proceeded to work again. She had a lot of arrangements to complete before the evening's Mehndi and Sangeet function.

Swara didn't meet up with Sanskaar after the "proposal" incident. Now it was almost lunch time and she knew that she would have to encounter him at the dining table. Lakshya also had went out somewhere to invite some of the local dancers to perform at the evening function, just to add a traditional Rajasthani touch to the event. She badly wanted to be with Lakshya after the morning incident, but when she had went in search of him, he telephoned her and told that he had to go immediately and so he couldn't inform her before leaving.
As she had promised Uttara, when they had come to Shaadi Mubarak office in Mumbai, a Bollywood theme party was planned for the evening. Swara and Lakshya had some very fresh ideas regarding the party.
When she walked into the dining room after finishing half of the work, Kavita and Uttara joined her. When she saw Kavita, Swara felt slightly guilty. But Kavita greeted her with a warm smile.
Ka: Hi Swara..How is the work going on..?
Sw: Hello M'am.. We are doing our level best..
Ut: (excitedly) I have told all my friends and cousins that it's going to be a great event..!!
Sw: (smiles pleasantly) Of course Uttara..I promise you that it will be "the best" Bollywood theme party ever..
Uttara just hugged Swara with love and it was then that Sanskaar entered the scene. Swara's entire form stiffened at the sight of him, but Sanskaar paid her zero interest, and this somehow pricked her heart again. He just walked past them and sat down at the head of the dining table. Kavita and Uttara hurried after him leaving Swara behind, and they too sat down in their seats. Swara went and sat down near Uttara's seat.
Soon Lakshya also joined them, Swara felt relieved when he came and sat down near her. Swara cast Sanskaar a sideways glance, at the same instant, but it seemed that he was not at all bothered with Lakshya's presence near her.
Sw: (whispers) Lakshya..Sab kuch teek hain na..?(smiles at him) How did it go..?
La: (smiles happily, then in a low tone) Thank God, Swara..we could book their performance..I was afraid that we won't be able to make it..!
Sw: (places her hand on his shoulder and whispers) Congratulations..! (smiles happily)
Just then they heard Sanskaar's voice.
Sa: Lakshya..
Instinctively, Swara too glanced at Sanskaar, along with Lakshya. But Sanskaar completely avoided Swara, yet again.
La: Yes, Mr.Maheshwari..
Sa: (seriously) Is everything ok..? I mean, did you book that local artists performance..?
La: Yes, of course Mr. Maheshwari..! (smiles politely)
Sa: (nods) Good..!
Actually, Sanskaar had sent Lakshya away in the morning, purposefully. He knew that Swara would need Lakshya's company after the morning incident, and Sanskaar couldn't bear the thought of Swara going to Lakshya for some comfort. And now also, Sanskaar's blood was boiling under his skin, just because of seeing Lakshya and Swara together. But no one could sense it, since he was an expert in masking his feelings.
Soon everyone except Sanskaar, were busy with the conversation about the upcoming event of the Bollywood themed Sangeet and Swara was thankful for a deviation.

The much awaited evening arrived and the guests were given a red carpet welcome into the specially decorated party hall. At the main entrance was a huge cut out of Uttara Maheshwari and Karan Rajput in a DDLJ movie style pose, their look complete with costumes similar to Kajol and Shahrukh. All along the narrow hallway, which led to the main party hall, colourful posters of famous romantic bollywood movies were set inside large square shaped niches whose edges were lined with bright bulbs.

The party hall was specially decorated like a Film Award Ceremony venue. And at its entrance, two bowls were placed, one for ladies and one for gents. Two well-dressed girls who stood to welcome the guests, were requesting each of them to take a small envelope each from the respective bowl. When they opened those envelopes, they were all surprised to find a cue card with the name of a male protagonist/ female protagonist along with the name of the romantic film inside it. And then the girls would inform them that, they had to proceed into a side door which led to a vast area full of dressing rooms and select the costumes of that particular character and then wear them. There were stylists, hair dressers and make up artists to help them. Then only they could enter into the main party hall.
After a while, the whole venue was full of reincarnated bollywood characters. They were all seated along rows and rows of chairs in front of a huge and elaborately decorated stage, which was fit for star-studded performances.

The Sangeet ceremony opened with a welcome dance of the local Rajasthani troupe. It was a treat for the guests who were from all parts of the world. When the performance was over, there was a tumultuous round of applause from the audience.

And then a Male Host (M.H) and a Female Host (F.H) came to the stage.

M.H : So after that wonderful Welcoming Act, it's time for yet another dazzling performance by Miss. Uttara Maheshwari and Mr. Karan Rajput.

F.H : So ladies and gentlemen, put your hands together for this beautiful couple.

Uttara and Karan performed a beautifully choreographed dance sequence on a medley of songs "Rang de tu mohe Gerua" and "Janam Janam" songs from the movie Dilwale and then "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo" film's title song. The audience was enchanted by their absolutely stunning costumes and the sizzling chemistry between the duo. They whistled and cheered for the enticing couple all through the performance and finally the act ended with a huge round of applause.

They alighted from the stage and then joined the audience. Uttara was wearing royal blue colour lehenga which was intricately embroidered with golden buttis, a fully embroidered choli in golden colour and then a nice yellow coloured net dupatta with royal blue embroidery borders. Karan was wearing a richly embroidered Sherwani suit in navy blue and reddish maroon colour combination. They were seated in specially designed ornate chairs in the centre of the front row.
And then the two hosts of the evening appeared on the stage, yet again. They were having naughty grins on their faces.

M.H : Ok ladies and gentlemen..Now you are in for a special and shocking surprise..

F.H : Yes..and I will now request you all to take a look at the back side of the cue cards in your envelopes..

Everyone began to open their envelopes and scan the back sides of their cue cards.

M.H: (laughs pleasantly, and then) So, what can you all see..?

F.H : Some dialogues right..? Ok so a few minutes will be given and you all will have to memorize those few dialogues by that time..

M.H : Yes..And when your bollywood character's name will be announced on stage, you have to come and perform on a romantic song and then enact the scene with these dialogues.

F.H : And you all have to note an important thing, (grins wide) this performance have to be done in pairs and the most exciting thing is that your romantic pairing will be revealed only when you will come on stage.

There was an excited murmur along the audience when they heard this news.

Soon, the audience witnessed performances of people who were destined to become the famous super hit couples like Raj-Simran (Tujhe dekha toh ye song and the epic "palat-palat" scene), Kabir-Naina (Dilli waali girlfriend song and "mujhe tumse pyaar ho jayega..phir se" scene), Raj-Sonia ( Na tum jano na hum song and their confession scene), Prem-Suman (Dil deewana song and "dosti mein no sorry no thank you" scene) etc.

And then it was time for the next announcement.

"Veer-Zaara"

As usual, the lights went dim as the performers walked towards the stage, to create an element of suspense. Soon the spot lights were shone on the two people who now stood on the stage.

Sanskaar as Veer Pratap Singh. He was clad in a pair of blue jeans and a white v-necked t-shirt, teamed with a blue denim jacket.

Swara as Zaara Hayaad Khan. She was wearing a yellow colour patyala kameez suit in georgette fabric a flowy yellow chiffon dupatta, covering her head and neck. Her eyes were lined with kohl, her curly hair was left open and she had a cute golden nose ring, to complete the look of the Pakistani damsel.

Swara and Sanskaar were astounded to be facing each other on the stage. Swara's heart beats began to race at the mere sight of him and Sanskaar had a smug look on his face.

A railway station backdrop appeared on the stage and a bench was seen in the back ground. Sanskaar and Swara sat down on the railway bench and they began to enact the scene.

{{For those who haven't watched the film--(It's the scene in which Zaara is going back to Pakistan after her first visit to Veer's village and India, and Veer is with her to see her off. Before leaving the village his Bauji(father) and his Maa have asked Veer to propose Zaara. At the railway station, just when Veer is about to propose to Zaara, her would-be husband Raza Sirazi appears on the scene. And then Zaara tells him about him.) }}

Sw: (smiling) Main bhi kitni pagli hoon...Duniya bhar ki baatein karti rahi, par aapko Raza ke baare mein bataana hi bhool gayi...

Sa: (seriously) Bahot badi bhool kardi aapne..(looks at her with a hurt expression)

Sw: (confused) Jee..?

Sa: (intense look) Bahot badi bhool kardi... Zaara, mein bahot hi seedha sadha aadmi hoon.. Seedhi baat karta hoon... aur seedhi baat samajta hoon...(looks away) Yeh pehli baar Bauji aur Maaji ki vajah se tedaa sochne lag gaya...(smiles hurtfully) (then looks into her eyes intently) Pure raste mein yehi sochta raha ki, kisi tarah Main aapko rok loon, aapko jaane naa doon, aur aapko keh doon, ki aap mujhe bahot achhi lagti hain... aur kahin main bhi aapko kuch teekh-taakh lagta hoon toh, hum dono shaadi kar lete hain...(smiles hurtfully) Ye zindagi yoohin pichhale do dino ki tarah haste khelte guzar jayegi...(his smile fades, he looks away bitterly and then) Par yeh upar wala bhi ajib hain...! Pura raasta mera hosla badhata raha, aur yahaan pahunchte hi, kahaani badal di...(lets out a deep sigh and then smiles bitterly) (then looks into her eyes intensely) Aap soch rahi hongi ki ab mein aapse ye sab kyon keh raha hoon... Please, mujhe galat mat samajiye... Mein jaanta hoon, aap kisi aur ki amanat hain... aur na toh hum dono ki beech aisa koi rishta hain, aur naahi aisa koi rishta hoga... Lekin kabhi bhi... kahin bhi...ek dost ki zaroorat pade, toh yaad rakhiyen ke... sarhad par ek aisa shaks hai, jo aap ke liye apni jaan bhi de dega...

Sanskaar finished his dialogue and kept looking into Swara's eyes intently. Swara was amazed at the way these dialogues sounded nearly similar to their real life situation. And the look in Sanskaar's eyes made her heart do a multiple somersaults.
As Swara kept looking into his eyes the lighting on the stage dimmed again.

And a voice over was heard.." Zaara returns to her home land, Pakistan and she realizes that she has fallen in love with Veer. Now here comes a romantic dream sequence in which Zaara feels Veer's presence beside her"

And then the stage lighted up again with a back drop of Zaara's house frontage and a landscaped lawn. Swara was standing alone on the stage now, her eyes shut and with a dreamy look on her face.

A song started in the background.

(slow rendition) Jaanam... Dekh Lo... Mit Gayi... Dooriyan...
Sanskaar entered the scene with a slow calculating gait. (he lip syncs as if singing the song for her)
Main Yahaan Hoon... Yahaan Hoon...
He came and stood really close to her.
Yahaan Hoon....(he whispers into her ears)...Yahaan...

Swara opened her eyes and showed that Zaara is surprised to find Veer behind her. But while whispering, his breath just tickled Swara's earlobe and she gasped .

*Starting Back Ground Music* ...

Sanskaar placed his both hands on her shoulders,
(normal speed rendition) Jaanam Dekh Lo Mit Gayi Dooriyan..
and he sang, moving his hands slowly rubbing down her arms and then forearms..His big palms held her small hands inside them, and he brought his face towards her each ear alternatively for each "yahan hoon",
Main Yahaan Hoon, Yahaan Hoon, Yahaan Hoon, Yahaan..
Swara just closed her eyes, completely melting under his touch.

He brought forth her hands, encircling his and her arms around her petite waist possessively from behind itself and sang with partly raised head and closed eyes..
Kaisi Sarhadein, Kaisi Majbooriyan...
Swara gasped at his action and she could feel butterflies fluttering inside her tummy as he held her close..

He opened his eyes again, without leaving her waist and sang "yahaan hoon" after pressing his chin on her shoulder, and then hitting his cheek to her cheek, for the next two "yahaan hoon".
Main Yahaan Hoon, Yahaan Hoon, Yahaan Hoon... Yahaan...

Swara was feeling tensed by his actions and she just pulled away his hands from around herself and started to run away from him. Just then he caught hold of her wrist and started to sing, moving towards her side in clock wise, quarter circle, while singing the next two lines, looking intently into her, now tensed face.
Tum Chhupa Na Sakogi Main Woh Raaz Hoon..
Tum Bhula Na Sakogi Woh Andaaz Hoon...
Swara was now gasping for breath unable to resist her feelings.

Sanskaar walked to her front and pulled up her other hand also with his other hand. Now he was holding both her hands, he sang the next two lines, looking intensely into her vulnerable face.
Goonjtaa Hoon Jo Dil Mein To Hairaan Ho Kyun...
Main Tumhare Hi Dil Ki Toh Aawaz Hoon...
Swara's eyes were lost in his eyes and she was transported into an ethereal world, where there were just the two of them. Time ceased to exist for her.

Suddenly he pulled her towards him in a swift move and sang,
Sun Sako... Toh Suno... Dhadkanon Ki Zubaan..
while her face was close to his chest, as if he was making her listen to his heart beats.
Main Yahaan Hoon, Yahaan Hoon,
Yahaan Hoon, Yahaan...

Then he pulled up her face cupping it with his palms and sang looking into her lovely face.
Kaisi Sarhadein, Kaisi Majbooriyan...
Main Yahaan Hoon, Yahaan Hoon,
Yahaan Hoon, Yahaaan...

The song stopped at that juncture. Even though, the act was supposed to end there, Sanskaar called her name again,

Sa: Zaara..(without leaving her moon-like face, which so beautifully fitted well into his cupped palms.)

He himself didn't knew why he was calling Swara by that name again, but as he kept looking into her eyes, his heart just urged him to call her by that name.

When Swara heard that name, some long lost familiarity sprang up inside her and for a moment she felt like she was transported into another world, another time-- into her previous birth persona, Zaara Nawaaz Mallik. She could see the love of her life , Pratham in front of her eyes.

Za: Pratham...(soft voice, so that only Sanskaar could hear it)

Sanskaar's eyes widened when he heard that name and he blinked uncertainly, he couldn't understand why she was calling him by that name, but still, it felt so right, it felt as though it was his own name. It felt as though, time had ceased to exist for him and Sanskaar's identity was lost. At that precise moment, his whole being tuned into his last birth persona, Pratham Agarwal.

Zaara just hugged Pratham with all her love, Pratham pulled her close to himself possessively.

Just at the same moment, the audience exploded into a loudest ever round of applause, and Swara sprang apart from Sanskaar realizing the situation she was in. Her face turned red with embarrassment and both of them turned towards the audience and bowed to them, with polite smiles.
Everyone in the hall was giving them a standing ovation, their performance had truly touched each person's heart.

But after that, without looking at Sanskaar, Swara turned to leave the stage.
Sanskaar followed her with a grim face and both of them alighted the steps and walked back to their respective seats which were far away from each other. Swara joined Lakshya who was sporting Salman's look from "Kick" film.

Lakshya placed his arm around her shoulder and congratulated her on her performance.

La: That was cool, Swara..! I just loved it..!
Sw: (weak smile) Thanks Lakshya..

Her eyes instinctively searched for Sanskaar and she found him seated beside Kavita, who was wearing costumes of Gauri (Gracy Singh's character) from the movie, Lagaan. Sanskaar didn't look in her direction. But Kavita was already looking at Swara and she was shocked to find a look of intense dislike in Kavita's eyes. When she saw Swara look at her, Kavita just looked away, avoiding her gaze.
Swara felt quite uneasy and she turned towards Lakshya.

Sw: Lakshya..
Lakshya sensed her discomfort and he tightened his grip around her shoulders.
La: Swara..Tum teek toh ho na..?
Sw: Nahin Lakshya..! I am having a head ache..Can I go to my room and join the Mehndi function later on..?
La: Sure..! Waise bhi tum subah se bahut kaam kar rahi thi na..! In fact in the morning, main bhi nahin tha tumhare saath..You need some rest..
Sw: (nods) Tum bhi mere saath chalo na..Please..

Lakshya nodded and both of them walked away from the hall, together. Sanskaar who was pretending to ignore Swara till now, noticed this immediately and his eyes followed their trail.

Yippe Yippe Yay Yay!!

I got the first slot for this chapter, I am so thrilled since this FF is one of my absolute favorites!!

I was bowled over by the sheer intensity and passion in this update, Nainu...my God, Sanskaar and Swara feel so immensely for each other. They are soulmates meant to be, across time. And destiny has brought them together again. You conveyed that soul connect so well here.

Swara was trying to seek Lakshya out, wanting to seek escape and comfort from the frightening intensity of her own feelings for Sanskaar. She also felt guilty about Kavita, since she knows Kavita is engaged to Sanskaar and is very fond of him...

But Sanskaar had very smartly sent Lakshya off to make some arrangements for local artistes for the wedding events! 😆 No wonder he is such a successful business magnate, his shaatir dimaag is too good!! 😉

But I have a doubt here Nainu---he should clear matters with Kavita na? Tell her that he is no longer interested in continuing their engagement? Because the longer he delays, the more bitter and vindictive she could feel...Kavita might also suspect wrongly that Swara has made a play for her mangethar...So Sanskaar should ideally clarify matters to her very soon...

The interesting part here was, that when Sanskaar was ignoring Swara (pretending to ignore on purpose 😛), Swara felt a tremendous pang in her heart! She wants his attention, his care, his love!!

That whole Veer Zaara scene enacted by SwaSan was magical! No other word can do it justice. So poetic, so romantic. And it really suited their situation too! Swara's heart and mind were completely in thrall of Sanskaar's molten gaze, his close presence, his warm touch, his voice filled with love and desire for her...She is so much in love, she is just scared to accept it!

And finally, the memories of their past life together came to both of them...Sanskaar somehow felt it was so right to keep calling Swara as "Zaara"...and Swara had a deep yearning, a buried memory in her very soul for Pratham. She could not resist and called Sanskaar lovingly by that name---and even he seemed to realize that the name fit him!!

So powerful, Nainu! Amazing!

But I was left with a vague sense of foreboding at the end, when Kavita looks at Swara with such dislike and jealousy. She must be feeling insecure, after all Sanskaar never gave her that much obvious affection, and she can see now that he seems completely enthralled by Swara. I just hope she does not make some plan with Annapurna to get Swara away / dismiss her or something like that. At the same time, I do so wish Sanskaar clears matters with her and breaks off the engagement pronto...further delay can only worsen matters.

Eagerly looking forward to the next update Nainu...you ended on a cliffhanger, with Sanskaar watching like a hawk, as Lakshya and Swara walk away, Swara wanting to clear her head and compose herself. Would she propose to Lakshya just as a desperate attempt to clear her head from her intense love and passion for Sanskaar? Out of her guilt at Kavita's reaction? I wonder what Sanskaar's reaction would be---he might even slap Lakshya! 😃

But somehow I still feel Lakshya has no such feelings for Swara---he might even love Ragini!
