Chapter 4:
Four Month Later-
Swara and Ragini were sitting in a restaurant. It was evening time and gentle breeze was blowing. They were enjoying the moment in silence. Swara was the one who broke the blessed silence.
Swara: Ragini tumhara kaam kaisa chal raha hai?
Ragini smiled a smile full of gratitude.
Ragini: Accha hai. Kuch kaam kiya hai aur saab praise bhi kar rahe hai.
Swara: That's great.
When Ragini heisted Swara placed a hand over hers. Ragini looked up. Her eyes were full of fear.
Ragini: Agar saab gadbad ho gyi to? Agar yeh kaam na kare to?
Swara: Phikar mat karo Raghini. Saab thik ho jyega. Haamne itni mehnat ki hai. Isse kaam karna hi padega.
Ragini: Accha yeh batao gharpe saab kaise hai? Sanskar kaise hai? Aur Laksh ji?
Swara: Gharpe sab thik hai Raghini tum phikar mat karo.
After half an hour Ragin left but Swara stayed there with a glass of cold drink hand. She was in deep thought. With furrowed brow she picked up her phone dialed a number.
Swara: Hello.
Other person: *****
Swara: Aab hamara next move ka time aa gya hai. Ragini bhi tayar hai. Waha saab tyar hai na?
Other person: *****
Swara: Haan maine usse acchese saab samjha diya hai.
Other Person:*****
Swara:Okay bye. Take care.
She cut the call and closed her eyes for a moment. Then she snapped them open. A smirk was playing at the corner of her lips.
Swara: Aab ayega kahani mein ek nya, hot and spicy twist.

Maheshwaris were having breakfast when Durga Prasad cleared his throat to gain everybody's attention. When everybody looked at him, he started speaking.
Durga Prasad: Aap sabs eek jaruri baat karna tha. Aaj hamare client Mr. Jha ke bade bete ka engagement hai jaha hame bhi niwta diya gya hai. Shamko saab tayar rahyega. Haam waha jayenge.
Sujata: Yeh Mr. Jha wahi hai na jinke pas itna bada ghar hai ki dekhke lagta hai koi mehel ho? Aur bohot sari gadi bhi hai.
Ram gave her a "you are impossible" look when Sanskar answered.
Sanskar: Haan ma. Yeh wahi Mr. Jha hai.
Sujata made face.
Sujata: Kash hamari Uttara ki shadi usse ho jata.
Uttara started coughing at the moment. Sanskar gave her water and chastised Sujata.
Sanskar: Ma aap bhi na! Kuch bhi bolti rehti hai!
Sujata: Toh burai kya hai hamari Uttara mein! Pari likhi hai aur sundar bhi hai.
Uttara: Mom please. Stop it.
Sujata: Thik hai thik hai. Iss meri hamari baat acchi lagti kisko hai? Haamto iss gharke kuch bhi nehi lagte.
This time Ram gave her such look that Sujata gulped and shut down her chatter.

Swara was on phone talking with someone when Laksh entered the room with a packet in hand. From the corner of her eyes she noticed but posed to ignore. Laksh went before Swara and offered her the packet. Swara put the phone aside and gave it a calculative look. She then took the packet and opened it. It was a sweet box and inside was motichoor ladoo. She gave him a questioning look.
Laksh: Aaj tumhara cd launch hua hai na? Tum to khudse mujhe bataogi nehi. TV pe dekha. Socha muh metha karna to banta hai.
Swara: Thanks but no thanks. Mujhe meetha nehi pasand.
Swara went to her Almira to choose dress when Laksh spoke.
Laksh: Really? Pehle to tumhe meetha bohot pasand tha!
Swara: Pehle mein aura ab mein bohot phadk hai Laksh. Pehle aise bohot si cheese mujhe pasand the jinse aab nafrat hoti hai.
Laksh tried to smile but the smile didn't came. Swara face lit in a satisfactory smile and she went to get ready for the party.

Jha residence
There were very few guests at the party but the Maheshwari's decided to ignore it. Everybody was present there except Sanskar who claim to have some urgent work and didn't attended the party. To their wonder even Gadodias were present there. When the time came Mr. Jha took the mike for announcement.
Mr. Jha: Aapsabka bohot bohot shukria ki aap saab aaj yaha iss khushi ke mouke pe haamra sath dene aye hai. Aaj hamara bada beta Aditya ki engagement hai. Hamara beta Aditya ko kuch hi din pehle promotion mila hai aura ab woh hamare company ka CEO ka chair sambhal raha hai. Hamari hone wali bahu bhi kuch kaam nehi hai. Modeling ki dunia ki nyi star Ragini Gadodia. Give a big hands for them.
The whole world as stopped around the Maheshwaris. Aditya and Ragini came down hand in hand. Ragini looked very elegant in her purple lehenga. Maheshwaris noticed that the Ragini they used to know has changed. This Ragini has an aura of confidence and elegance. She is no longer meek and shy.
Aditya and Ragini exchanged rings and took the elders blessings. After the ring exchange Aditya pulled her in a romantic dance. After a few more dance Ragini went aside to for water. With the glass of water in hand she went to the window. The moon was shining in its full glow casting a serenity among nature. Laksh's voice broke her trance.
Laksh: Wah Ragini wah. Kamal k ladki ho tum. Samajh nehi ata taliya bajau ya gali doom. Ek mahina pura nehi hua hamara divorce finalize honeka aur tumne engagement kar li.
Ragini matched his smirk with one of her own.
Ragini: Sambhalke Laksh. Aapke bato se lag raha hai ki aap hamare rishta tootne se dukhi hai.
Laksh: Tum jaisi aurat se rishta tootne ka gaam nehi khushiya manaya hai maine.
Ragini: Haampe ungli uthane se pehle aine mein ekbar apne aapko khada kijyega Laksh. Hamne jo kuch bhi kiya sab aapke liya kiya. Isslye kiya kiyu ki haam aapse pyar karte the. Likin aap! Aapto kabhi bhi apne paas rehne walo mein se khush nehi hote. Aapko hamesha parayi aurat chahye hota hai. Pehle aapka engagement hamare sath tay hua. Par aapko main pasand nehi thi. Aapne Swara se rishta jodne ka faisla kiya. Phir haamne do char chale kya chal diya to aapne mujhse shadi kar liya. Phir jaab Swara wapas ayi Sanskar ki patni banke to aapka purana pyar phirse jag gya. Aur aapne usse phirse paneka faisla kar liya. Aab jab main aapke jindegi se hat chukka hoom aur nye se apni jindegi suru karne ja raha hoom to aap mujhe bate suna rahe hai? Are pehle khudke andar jhak ke dekhiye. Phir hame kuch sunaiega.
Saying those harsh words Ragini went back to the party leaving a baffled Laksh behind.
