A beautiful start! I hope Swara won't cut it too close with the wedding! I loved the way you wrote about Swara's emotions especially her heart break and her anger towards Sanskaar for asking her to give Lakshya a chance.

Can't wait to read the second part to read about Swara's plan.

Loved the start of your story..you have captured the Kolkata rains and the spirit of monsoon so well! That feeling of everything being cleansed out completely, the incessant rains, the paper boats, the flooded streets...umm..😃

I liked how you've taken Swara's view point and explained all the little nuances of her feelings over the last few days..2 months right! Wow, and Sanskaar and she have left it right at the edge havent they? And she is betting on him ...? God..this is close !!😲

The decision to leave MM, following her discussion with Sanskaar, where she finally realizes that she is leaving a lot more behind than just a in-name-marriage, explains what the snippets have been telling us..and you have dovetailed your story beautifully with them.. That the full realization of his true position in her life has come as part of the 2 mths of brooding, makes perfect sense..And so does her impulsive urge to hurt him, by agreeing to marry Lakshya. She is human after all, and if HE, who she believed knew her best, could still think that she loved Lakshya, she would jolly well say so, just to hurt him...uh uh..!😕

Waiting to hear what she is betting on Sanskaar to do! But if its going to be 2-3 days away, you will have us on the tenterhooks as much as she is ! Be merciful...and give us an early update,... Please?😃

Nikz 🤗 Amazing start of this TS. I loved the fact that you wrote it taking Swara's POV.
The initial description of the rain, how Dida used to buy her the ice candy and keeping it as a secret between her and Swara was beautiful and very sweet 😳
Finally here she realized Sanskar's importance. I loved it when she said that she wouldn't ever associate the name Laksh Maheshwari with her.
This line 'Mr. Sanskar Maheshwari, the proud and rightful owner of my heart. 👏

I'm glad u liked the plot and the description of the monsoon dear. And hmm, I do acknowledge that the monsoon does have its own minuses... But dear, aren't its pluses more beautiful than its few minuses? 😳 Err, well this may be the die-hard pulviophile in me who is speaking here... 😛😆
