Par excellence is my verdict for what it is worth. I have always loved and admired your analysis of the dimensions someone like Ragini has. She is in the true sense a contradiction in terms and you get that across so beautifully. I love her honest acknowledgement of why she hates Swara. You want to hate Ragini for her actions and the person who only looks on the surface of characters will most likely easily hate her, but you explain her so well, you can't hate her. You feel for her despite not being able to accept either her logic or her actions. To me, she has shades of Draco Malfoy but in much more devious way- she hides her anger, hatred and frustration behind a mask of innocence but the basic premise of what underlies those hateful emotions is rather similar. As you say, true blue Slytherin in HP world!I also like the way the letter brings out Swara's brand of magnanimity, her chirpy waving to Ragini when others ignored her- Swara is one of life's almost too good to be true characters and unfortunately sometimes such people bring out the worst in those poisoned by their own shortcomings. The Milton quote made my heart sing! I told you my history with Milton right? I am sure it managed me my A grade when I was told it was impossible to get that:). The following also came to me whilst reading this:"The mind is its own place, and in itself can make a heaven of hell, a hell of heaven.." This is so Ragini - she had made her own hell and now she cannot crawl out.It also makes me wonder with Ragini how she can ever be reclaimed (although I know they will do this in the show, possibly cack handedly) as I recall:"Never can true reconcilement grow where wounds of deadly hate have pierced so deep..".I also love how Ragini gives Swara the unvarnished truth about Sanskaar that Swara is too dumb to see but of course Ragini is not. Her dilemma between on one hand wanting to destroy Swara and on the other hand, knowing deep down that she is fatally flawed herself in thinking and doing this, is so powerful.Truly an experience to read! Lovely!Love always xoxo

For a change, I would have liked to see Ragini also question Swara on how Swara could be so ignorant of Ragini's feelings for Laksh ...esp when Swara has been saying that her sister comes first for her and he is willing to force Laksh to be with Ragini now and give her a second chance and doest want to come between them...why did she never see the love that Ragini had for Laksh before and back off saying it is better no one is with Laksh rather than hurting Ragini...despite what Ragini said.
Medha🤗
Here I thought your letter to Laksh was brilliant. This one just took the cake! I told you how much I enjoy Ragini as a character. You have managed to not only read and understand but also portray her amazingly well. So really kudos!👏 The letter managed to not only bring out Ragini's tragedy but also explain why she cannot go back to being "SwaRagini" as easily as Swara wants and expects her to. It was beautifully done. Swara doesn't really have anything to complain now does she? Like you so eloquenty put, she was saved from choosing an idiot over her soulmate. While she after fighting so hard still ends up with nothing. I really can understand why she can't help but hate and love her sister. She envies her. It really is a tragedy.. Everyone sees Swara as this unfortunate child who was depraved her father's love and a normal childhood. Only she sees how lucky she was to have lived away from the Gododias. Free and so full of life. The freedom to live the way she pleased. The very life she dreamt of. And then the whole Laksh angle. Now can you blame the girl for becoming what she has? I both admire and pity Ragini for those very reasons. Seriously what a read! It made me actually happy to have been stuck in a traffic jam in a bus no less!.😃
Wow Medha..
I loved this letter..😃
Swara is slow..😆 so true..Ragini understands her sister well..😛
But Swara..she so dumb, blindfaith towards her sister Ragini
Anyways Medha, I loved your take on Ragini's mindset regarding Swara..
The way Ragini felt that Swara always overshadowed her in everything, in spite of Ragini being better that Swara in beauty or talent or loving Lakshya..
Ragini also finds Sanskaar's love praiseworthy..
Wine and Water..Nice comparison Medha..I loved this one🤗
Medha,
you decode Ragini like no one 😃...not even the blasted cvs who created her...😡...this character has a lot of potential only if handled carefully...the letter was excellent as usual...Ragini's feelings vis a vis swara was spot on...her inability to understand why swara gets everything without even trying, which she does not...despite being more pretty and intelligent than swara...the way you bring out Ragini's traits, her feelings and explanations to self as to why she is the way she is, is so spot on...and it always makes me ponder and look at her in different light...😊
