Part 5
Paper presentation is really a tough task. God! How do economists do so much? Why can't they just take a chill pill and relax. I wonder how come you suddenly have interest in this subject- asked kavita to Sanskar.
Sanskar was in the library looking for books that could help him and Swara in their project. As soon as he entered he bumped into his childhood friend- kavita ghosh.
Kavita was a simple girl who like a typical Bengali wanted to enjoy and live life to the fullest. By nature she was very sweet and caring. Though the two studied in the same college, the met very rarely because she was a science student and Sanskar had taken up commerce. Today when the old friends met they were delighted and like always kavita did all the talking. Sanskar replied to her with-" hmm", "okay", "yes" and laughed at her antics and jokes. He was looking for book by Michael Vaz when kavita had asked him about his project. Still looking out for the book, he replied -
It's interesting kavita- economics..its fun if you like it.
Kavita was amused by his answer- not bad Sanskar, usually you give such big explanations when someone questions you about anything...seriously and see...what has happened to you- said kavita with a chuckle.
Sanskar finally found the book and looked at kavita with a -what did you say look.
Kavita shook her head sideways, bid him good bye and left from there.
Sanskar was working on the project when Swara walked in. She quietly took the seat beside him and wished- good morning. Sanskar greeted her with a smile.
That was enough for her. His one smile could do everything right for her. She could feel peace all around and her heat beats normal as if someone just assured her that everything will be fine.
Sanskar continued his work while Swara sat there observing him. How he holds his pencil, his reaction on cracking the formula, his every expression was captured by her.
After about an hour, Sanskar exclaimed - done and looked towards Swara who was in her land of dreams. Sanskar kept his hand on her shoulder and shook her a bit and that brought her back to senses.
Yes...yes.. Sanskar...
Swara...its done...the formula for marginal utility and savings- said Sanskar and handed over the papers to her.
Swara went through them and later smiled at Sanskar.
So? What do we do next? Asked Sanskar curiously.
Take a break- came a voice and the duo looked at the direction the voice came from and found ragya coming towards them.
Ssshhh...silence please remarked the librarian.
Ragya apologized and moved towards the bench where Swara and Sanskar were seated.
Swaragini hugged while SanLak shook their hands.
So,what are you two doing here? Asked Sanskar
Just like that...we had no place to go...answered laksh.
Ohhh...come on, don't lie...tell us what's the matter with you two? Asked Swara in a bossy tone.
Ragini gave Swara a big smile and showed her her left hand. Swara at first didn't understand but soon she realized that ragini was wearing a ring in her left ring finger and that meant -
Oh my god! Freak!!!!! Congratulations - exclaimed Swara and got up to hug her sister.
Laksh gave the news to Sanskar and Sanskar too was very happy for the duo.
With all the noise around, the librarian threw the four out. First there was silence but then the congratulations followed. Swara was very happy to see ragini all smiling. Ragya hugged each other as well and the happiness around made Swara wrap her arms around Sanskar...
