On Wednesday, Suhana shared a series of photos on Instagram, captioned simply, “Diwali Dump.” In them, she appears in a red and yellow kalidar lehenga, glowing under soft festive lights. The post captured small, unposed moments — Suhana taking selfies with her friends, sipping matcha tea, and sharing quiet laughs in between the buzz of celebration.

Ananya wore a turquoise lehenga, while Navya opted for a multi-coloured outfit. Together, the trio reflected an easy comfort that comes from years of friendship. The comments section filled up fast. Ananya wrote “best”, while Karan Johar added “stunning.” Navya commented “yayy”, and several others, including philanthropist Shalini Passi, praised the pictures and festive spirit.

For Suhana, who often finds herself under public scrutiny as Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan’s daughter, such posts offer a brief, personal glimpse away from the spotlight of film expectations.

Her acting journey began with The Archies (2023), Zoya Akhtar’s Netflix adaptation of the popular comic series. The project, which also starred Agastya Nanda, Khushi Kapoor, and Vedang Raina, arrived with high anticipation but drew mixed reactions. Critics noted that while Suhana showed promise, the film’s overall execution didn’t quite give her a space to stand out.

Now, Suhana is preparing for her first theatrical release — King, an action thriller directed by Siddharth Anand. The film will see her sharing screen space with her father, Shah Rukh Khan, for the first time. Abhishek Bachchan plays the main antagonist, with Deepika Padukone in a special role. The ensemble also includes Anil Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, Arshad Warsi, and Raghav Juyal.

Jointly produced by Red Chillies Entertainment and Marflix Pictures, King is being developed as a large-scale spy drama and is expected to release in October 2026. For Suhana, it marks both a professional milestone and a chance to carve her own path beyond familiar surnames.
