Yeah, I was reminded of Kaikeyi (and to a lesser extent, Gandhari), while conceiving my characterization of Annapurna for this piece. And it was so uncanny, the way you referenced Nur Jahan--Shah Jahan...I was so thrilled that you "got" what I was thinking, when I wrote this! 😊
A couple of other characters which I had in the back of my mind: Mrs Boynton (Appointment with Death, Agatha Christie), and Kate Blackwell (Master of the game, Sidney Sheldon).
Am so very happy that you liked this. Truthfully, when I conceived this, I was not very sure if many people would like this much focus on Annapurna. But, as I said in my reply to an earlier comment, her character just spoke "Fire" to me. 😊 I can just imagine how Swara's water dominated character is going to prevail over Annapurna's fire dominated one (Of course Swara will have able support and partnership with the one who has Earth in their sign...any guesses who that is?? 😊)
